Welcome to SUN SOAKED, a newly renovated bayfront cottage perfect for families or groups. Sleep up to 6 guests with flexible bedroom options, enjoy the deck with scenic views, and prepare meals in the fully equipped kitchen. Located near historic Fort Morgan and the Gulf Shores Yacht Club, the area offers fishing, sightseeing cruises, jet skis, and some of the best local seafood—all just minutes away.

PET POLICY

This home is dog-friendly for up to two small dogs (35 lbs max). Guests must notify us upon booking if bringing a dog. A pet fee applies. The following breeds are prohibited by the association by-laws: Doberman, Rottweiler, Chow, or Pit Bull. No other pets are allowed.



RULES FOR RENTING WITH A DOG

• Dog must be older than 9 months

• Dog must remain on a leash when outside of the house

• Guests must clean up after their dog

Perfect family spot or relaxing vacation

The house location was perfect for a peaceful vacation away from traffic, quick walk to the beach or enjoy the property with the view, fishing access or night crab hunting on the beach area located on the property. We had a unique expof being stuck in the sand near the beach access. The local police were amazing & kind. The area is excellent! Tacky Jack's 2 had amazing food & literally a 2 minute drive. Definitely a place to return to.

Sweet Little Beach House

Master bedroom was large, the 2 other bedrooms were small but ample for children or teens. Combined Living/kitchen/dining area was adequate for our party of 4. There were a couple things I would like to make aware of to whomever it may concern & that is that clean sheets & towels should be #1 priority. A large amount of human hair was found on one of the twin bed’s sheets upon turning bed down on the 1st night we arrived & various washcloths & towels were stained. These items should be bleached after each guests departure. Lovely beach house but this is not acceptable. Please fix this for we would love to visit “Sun Soaked” again very soon.

Pamela, I regret that there were issues with the sheets and towels. I can assure you that they do get washed with bleach in between each guest. I will make housekeeping aware of the stained towels and washcloths. Sounds like it is time for some new ones. I hope you will come back and stay with us again.

It’s not near as crowded as orange beach and just wonderful. We have 3 kids (11,9&5) and the walk to the beach was nothing for us from the house. Having the bay to look out was amazing and we throughly enjoyed our trip and our stay.

A few easy repairs would take this property from three to five

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: There were several issues with cleanliness. The vent door was covered in thick dust and the wall beside the dishwasher was very dirty. We also saw several bugs. There was some sort of plumbing issue that caused a warning light to flash under the house and water to back up in the kitchen sink. We didn't get responses to our emails until we called. The floors in the entire house were not correctly installed. The shower rod in the master bathroom needs to be raised up and mounted, not just a tension rod. Extra hooks for towels I both bathrooms and bedrooms would've been convenient. We had someone come out and change some exterior lightbulbs and they left the old lightbulbs on the ground. Back porch light never did work. Moving the faucet closer to the stairs would've helped reduce tracking sand everywhere. Another option would be to place stepping Stones between the faucet and the stairs so you don't have to walk through sand after foot washing.
