Your Safety is our #1 Concern! My 2nd Home, LLC was founded by a previous General Manager of a Wyndham Resort. She brought her extensive knowledge through years of training on customer safety to this business. The staff at My 2nd Home, LLC is always putting our guest's safety at the top of the list of priorities. We start by providing professionally laundered linens through American Linen Supply Company (ALSCO). This assures your sheets, towels, bathmats, etc. have been cleaned using commercial machines with boilers and commercial grade cleaners which kill more germs than a home washer/dryer can do. We also make sure every surface of the home is wiped down with commercial cleaners with bleach, paying special attention to items such as remote controls, doorknobs, cupboard handles, and anything within the home which are touched by hands on a regular basis. We provide single use products rather than large bottles of shampoos, soaps, etc. which have been used by previous guests. Our goal is for our guests to have a safe, enjoyable time staying at a My 2nd Home property, knowing that the home they are staying in has been cared for and cleaned by the best in the business.

Not a great first impression…
We walked in upon arrival and immediately found a syringe with a needle in the kitchen trash can. God knows what kind of biohazard or substance that contained. Very dated appliances and bathroom. Unit smelled stuffy/musty. Parking was very difficult and every night we had to park several buildings away. The “driveway”in front of the garage for the specific unit had a no parking sign so we had to park and walk quite a distance.

Just okay
The condo is kinda worn looking. The rooms are outdated. The deck is awful. The bedding was clean but the headboard shelf was very dustu. Did not use the kitchen or sit on the living room furniture. I will say that the manager on duty was extremely helpful when I called for assistance. The pools and outdoor areas are wonderful!

Property management the worst I have ever experienced
Property management the worst I have ever experienced. Communication with property management was not only untimely but I have never been treated so rudely in my entire life in a hotel or VRBO. Because it was a weekend I called the emergency contact number several times before I got an actual person. When I told her I had been trying to get a hold of someone for over three hours she said “ nobody’s called and nobody’s left a message“. I told her in fact that I had called and texted and posted something on the website. She said “no you didn’t” I told her there was a man’s Voice on the answering machine and I left a detailed message that there was no Wi-Fi and I needed it desperately as I was sending out messages for extended family for a funeral that afternoon for my sister. Then she said “oh, someone must’ve forwarded my phone. Not my fault.” And she said she “knew the Wi-Fi wasn’t working and hoped somebody would’ve fixed the Wi-Fi but they never showed up.” I then told her that the room was not accurately represented because I needed to work during my 10 day stay and I need Wi-Fi. At that point she said a few quick words and hung up on me. I had to drive downtown to several cafés to try and find Wi-Fi. My contact list was on my computer and I needed Wi-Fi. I finally found Wi-Fi and got contacts for 17 people and had to make phone calls as the funeral changes were in two hours. I wasn’t even able to shower before my sister’s funeral. The Wi-Fi was eventually fixed 44 hours after check in and then I was charged an additional 75+ dollars for miscellaneous fees. I will never stay at a condo who uses this property management. Not only were they rude, they were dishonest. The VRBO website was manipulated to take off my questions and communication. It only showed one question where in fact I had asked three. Also the text thread with the property management is missing from my phone. I called Verizon and they said that someone who is savvy could take that off my phone if I was using their Wi-Fi. This was the worst nightmare of a stay in St. George I have ever had. I come twice a year for a week each time to see my extended family. I will never stay where this property management is utilized. The condo is beautiful and very comfortable and well stocked. The owners took great care to make it nice. I gave this a low star rating because the property management made my stay quite awful.

The place was great however laundry facilities are needed for any stay more than a few days. A good frying pan also please. We liked the crock pot that was available but missed a B.Q. ,even if it would have been on the clubhouse deck area.

Single Mom w/ 3 Kids
My kids absolutely LOVED the time spent here! The pools were a hit and the room was comfy cozy! The appliances are old, the microwave doesn’t spin and the stove is old but they all worked phenomenal. My only complaint was that I couldn’t get the sliding door to lock but being on the third floor, I wasn’t too concerned. Also, one of my boys spilled some water on the carpet in the bedroom and while scrubbing it up, the towel came back BROWN. The carpets could use a good cleaning for sure. Otherwise, great stay and would love to visit again! :)

ok place to stay when not in the pool
The unit was clean and as advertised but very dated. Operated by a management company who doesn’t do those little nice touches. Cheapest soaps, paper products, etc. The unit hasn’t been updated in 40 years but everything worked. Unlike most units in this complex, NO washer/dryer. If that’s important, choose another unit. Except for a couple hiking trails and a skating rink, very little within walking distance. If you’re looking for a place for the kids to enjoy the pool for a week, could be a good choice. If you’re looking for someplace that feels homey, maybe not the best choice

Spring break with the kiddos
Las Palmas was a great place for the kids to play in the pools and splash pad. Unfortunately the water slides were closed during our stay. The resort itself has tons of amenities. The condo was very clean and very well stocked with linens and towels. The kitchen had everything I could needed. The flooring and furniture in the living room is modern and updated. Parking was easy and convenient! The location was easy to get to restaurants, the highway and local attractions! We hope to stay again soon!

Great location, sleeps 4 on the couch & cot!
Location of this property was great! Overlooked the big pools. When it says it sleeps 4, they mean 2sleep in the bed, one sleeps on a cot, & the other on the couch. There were ants all over in the bathroom, but they had some ant traps to help the situation. otherwise it was nice & clean. I wish it had a map of Las Palmas so we could see where other pools & things were. They had some updates in the condo which looked nice! I would stay here again

Perfect place for a small family.
We stayed here for the weekend and it was perfect. I was a little bummed that the water slide was not functioning but the other pools were open. I wish the master had another lamp the room was a little dark. Other than that is was great!

Stayed for a month
The property was very clean with updated floors and furniture. The queen size bed was comfortable and the kitchen was stocked enough with cookware which were all clean. The condo is in a nice resort area with easy access to St George, Zion, and Snow Canyon. I enjoyed Pioneer Park, Red Hills Desert Garden, Anasazi Trail with petroglyphs, Chuckwalla Trail, and there are gobs of walking trails to use throughout St George.

Very great place to stay!
We stayed in St George for a few days and this was a great place to stay. We were close to the freeway and there were plenty of amenities for us to use. It didn’t get the full five on cleanliness because the dishes and some areas were dusty. Not a big problem but I think those should have been cleaned before the stay. Otherwise this was the best choice for a great stay.

We really enjoyed our time here. Even though the weather had cooled down, the kids couldn't get enough of the pools and waterslides and we all loved the pickelball and basketball courts. Lots of things to do to keep us all entertained and the apartment was clean and worked perfectly for us as well!

Our stay was fine; however, there were no hot pads to be found and were needed. The pillows need to upgraded. I forgot to see what the mattress was? Do you know what the brand is? We didn't sleep the greatest any of the three nights so I'm not sure I would book the same unit. For the most part it was fine and most of it met our needs. Thanks

Here at My 2nd Home LLC, Vacation Rental management, we understand what makes a vacation home right for our guests. We make it our business to find vacation rentals of the highest standard that go above and beyond our guest's expectations. By providing the finest in vacation rentals we can ensure that our guest's vacation is a success no matter which property they decide to stay in.

With over 18 years of personal Wyndham management, including general management, experience, and over 100 years with My 2nd Home's management team in place, we know what it takes to run a successful vacation rental management company. Providing quality homes, cleaned by quality employees, and providing quality customer and concierge service is what sets us apart from the rest. Whether you are renting with us or putting your rental in our hands as an owner you can be sure that you are working with the best.

Ty and Pam owned timeshares, and Pam was the general manager of a Wyndham timeshare resort while Ty owned and operated multiple quick lubes. But years ago they realized their timeshare quarterly fees just kept growing while usage of their timeshare kept shrinking due to the fact that the timeshares were rarely located in places they needed to travel for family events, etc. They hated using hotels/motels after being spoiled with the comforts of a timeshare, so they searched for a better option and started using marketing sites such as Airbnb and VRBO to rent vacation rentals. They soon discovered they could have the quality of a time share in locations wherever they needed, and not have to pay quarterly dues! So they sold their time shares, and over time, when it was time for Pam to take on a more regional role within the resort she managed, she decided she did not want to live the next several years in airports and cities nationwide with grandchildren close to home, so she and Ty decided to start their own business managing vacation rentals.

With Pam's experience in hospitality, the business has grown in leaps and bounds. They soon discovered that most vacation rental management companies come from a real estate background and have no knowledge of what it takes to operate a hospitality business. Pam knows that regulations to the vacation rental business are coming soon, so she insists on being ahead of the curve. This is why they have contracted with ALSCO for professionally leased and laundered linens. While most vacation rentals rely on their in-home washers and dryers, Pam knows from her training that only commercial washers reach temperatures hot enough to kill bacterias which can be brought into a rental home from guests traveling from anywhere in the world. Ty and Pam also discovered other management companies as well as personally managed properties allow various cleaning chemicals to be stored under cupboards or closets where children can easily reach, leaving the property owner with an unecessary liability. As they began to manage homes which had previously been managed by other nightly rental management companies, they realized quickly that very few management companies had preventative maintenance programs in place, which Pam knows the importance of, to ensure the best condition of the property. Pam says, "Each property must have a baseline of cleanliness that must be brought back to after each guest stay. Straying from that baseline can cause long-term issues with a home that is unacceptable in hospitality standards and expectations."

Another concern Pam had was noticing that property management companies, as well as private managed homes, used either keys, (which can be easily copied) were stored in lock boxes with combinations which were rarely, if ever, changed. Or they were using inexpensive keypads which were also rarely changed. She knew there needed to be a better way to secure a property. So with a little investigation they discovered that WiFi locks were the latest technological advancement in the vacation rental industry and she insisted we needed to provide these locks for the properties we managed so we could ensure a new code for each guest which would activate at their arrival date at a specific time, and deactivate on the day of their departure, also at a specific time. Each vendor would also receive their own expireable code so that nobody could enter the property without her knowledge, thereby securing the property better than a key or cheap keypad lock ever could.

Pam's wealth of knowledge she has from her professional training, traveling to Seattle, Chicago, Las Vegas, Orlando, and countless more places over her years as a manager for Wyndham is priceless for property owners and guests alike. She brings a unique set of skills to the industry of vacation rentals which can be a great asset for a property owner wanting the best results from their 2nd Home.
