About this property

Beautiful 3/2 condo- JUST STEPS FROM THE POOL /HOT TUB AND BEACH

***WE HAVE BEEN OPEN AND FULLY FUNCTIONAL FOR MANY MONTHS. THERE WERE NO PROBLEMS WITH OUR CONDO AT ALL AND ALL EXTERIOR DAMAGE FROM THE 2024 STORMS HAS BEEN REPAIRED AND IN MOST CASES UPGRADED. THE PIER IS STILL NOT OPERATIONAL.***

The condo is one of the more quiet units in the building as there are no units to either side or below us. Even though it's a very short walk to the pool, you don't hear any noise from the pool area.

Our unit has been remodeled. It's a 3 bedroom-2 bathroom condominium on Indian Shores Beach and has all the amenities you need for your beautiful beach front vacation. At over 1400 SQ FT, our condo has plenty of room to sleep up to 8 people. We have modernized the finishes and furnishings to give the condo a much more open, lighter, "beachy" feel.

The renovations include all new "wood look" tile throughout, fresh paint, new baseboards, new beds and bedroom furnishings, new walk-in shower, and an updated kitchen with granite counters. The unit has a fully equipped kitchen with refrigerator/freezer, dishwasher, microwave, glass-top stove, and all the tools you need for any meal at home.

There are flat screen TVs mounted on the wall in all 3 bedrooms and a 57 in. flat screen in the living room. There is free Wi-Fi available and a telephone with free local calling.

There are 3 bedrooms in this unit, with 1 king in the master, 1 king in the 2nd bedroom, and 2 queens in the 3rd bedroom. Both bathrooms have double sink vanities and brand new LED lighting. The 2nd bathroom has been completely re-done and includes a beautiful walk-in shower.

There is a full size washer and dryer in this unit, and an iron with ironing board.

The amenities of the Sand Dollar resort include a large heated private pool and a 16 person Jacuzzi area (both of which are salt water so there is no chlorine), 5 charcoal grills, a private fishing pier (not currently available due to storm damage), free parking for 2 cars /unit, poolside bathrooms, and outdoor showers.

There are many local restaurants nearby, as well as the beautiful John's Pass area just 5 miles down the road. We look forward to you coming to our Indian Shores getaway and taking advantage of the beautiful, white, sandy beaches and the beautiful Florida weather.

The property was great! We had enough room for the whole family. We had to check in late, but the instructions to access the property were outstanding, and easy. The balcony was peaceful and easy to access. It wouldn’t have changed our minds about the stay, but the private pier was closed due to storm damage. There was a lot of construction going on to fix prior storm damage, amazingly the only inconvenience was having to walk to the other side of the building to access the pool/hot tub and the beach. With all the construction it was still peaceful and quiet. The staff was knowledgeable and courteous during check in/out. This is a stunning property, peaceful location and still had stores, shops, and restaurants nearby.

Amazing place to stay on vacation

I had an amazing stay. Location was super close to plenty of things to do. Right on the beach with access to pool and pier. Check in was super easy and didn’t have a problem with any other guests. Super quiet and family friendly.

Russ and Patty have been married 40 years and have lived in Tampa Bay the whole time. We love the beach and think you will love this place too. We put our hearts and souls into remodeling and refurnishing the unit. We hope you like it as much as we do.

Why they chose this property

People love it here. We were around and did quite a bit of the remodel work ourselves. Many people that we have spoken to during our remodeling period have told us how much they like the property, and how for 10, 20 years or more they have kept coming back here. It's a great location with a wonderful staff at a very fair price. These are some of the comments we heard from visitors and most all of them said they will book again for next year as they check out.

Our family is from Tampa so we were quite familiar with the property, and we were so happy to get the same positive feedback from other visitors that we felt ourselves.
