A Desert Garden Oasis with contemporary Southwestern charm.


Tucked away on a private one-acre property in North Scottsdale, Santa Catalina Oasis is surrounded by mature desert landscaping that creates an unusually secluded and peaceful setting. Towering palms, mature saguaros and citrus trees frame the south-facing backyard, giving the property the feel of a private garden retreat in the Sonoran Desert.

The outdoor living area is the heart of the home. A resort-style pool and spacious pool deck are surrounded by lush landscaping, with multiple places to lounge, dine or simply enjoy the Arizona sunshine. The covered patio provides shade throughout the day, while an extensive misting system makes the outdoor living space considerably more comfortable during the warmer months. In the evening, landscape lighting transforms the garden and the fire pit provides a quiet place to sit beneath the desert sky.

Inside, soaring 14-foot ceilings and an open floor plan create a bright, spacious atmosphere. The home is comfortably furnished in a contemporary Southwestern style, with warm adobe influences and distinctive Arizona character. Generous living and entertaining spaces, a quality sound system and views into the surrounding garden make the house equally comfortable for a quiet stay or for entertaining family and friends.
The well-appointed kitchen is designed for people who actually enjoy cooking. It features granite countertops, a Wolf induction cooktop, quality cookware and an extensive selection of dishes, serving pieces and proper glassware for wine, cocktails and champagne. Morning coffee is equally well covered, including a Breville espresso and cappuccino machine and a Keurig Crema machine as well.

Comfort carries through to the bedrooms, with king-size beds, high-quality cotton linens and an abundance of pillows. Thoughtful details throughout the house reflect the way we equip our own homes: comfortably, generously and with the things we would want to have available if we were staying here ourselves.

Santa Catalina Oasis is close to some of North Scottsdale's best golf, hiking, dining and shopping, yet once inside the property it feels remarkably removed from it all.

An amazing home away from home!

This is such a beautiful home w/ all the amenities. Perfectly located near all the golf courses and hiking trails and restaurants. The owner is SO nice and has awesome communication from the minute you book until you check out.

The Best

Property was everything and more. We are definitely going back. We spent two weeks there and could have stayed two more. I will not even think of looking for another property when I vacation in this area. It was that good.

Amazing Arizona

The backyard is a magical place with a very natural vibe. Even when it's hot, the misters are like outdoor AC. Property is perfectly located and Annette was extremely responsive when we needed anything. We will be back...thanks!

Spring break 2023

Perfect! Communication and logistics were above and beyond throughout the entire week. So many thoughtful touches and tips made us feel instantly welcome and relaxed. Private, quiet, yet minutes from everything. Little touch of heaven in the desert

The property was wonderful. Nice pool with waterfall, fire pit, and the many different types of trees made it so restful Many amenities in the house. Very clean. We enjoyed the outdoors so much. Large grounds.

Great get away for the family

We absolutely loved the garden and outdoors of this property. My kids lived in the pool. The Temperpedic beds and the black out blinds made for very comfortable sleep. The house was very well stocked with towels, and the fridge was even stocked with cold beer for us and Popsicles for the kids when we arrived. The misters really made is possible to enjoy the garden even when it reached 115 degrees.

Pinnacle Peak retreat for a holiday week.

A lovely house and hostess. A wonderful big backyard with an abundance of gorgeous desert plantings and citrus trees, and an elegant pool (not used by us in December but the waterfall was great to listen to and look at). Perfect for our family of 5 (2 couples and a single). Kitchen was well-stocked and easy to cook in, and had a bonus espresso/cappuccino maker. We loved our stay, even with a week of rain we managed to have our morning coffee outside under the roof a couple days. Well-located with easy access to stores, restaurants, etc.

Outdoor Oasis

The house is very clean and well-appointed with a large kitchen/dining/family room area and was perfect for our family getaway. Great location near all shopping and amenities. The best part of the house is the pool, patio and backyard area. We spent hours outside with the misters and waterfall both on and we all enjoyed the pool. The pool temperature was still warm enough for swimming mid-October. Homeowner was fantastic and very responsive to all our questions. Highly recommended!

Vacation in the Time of Covid-19

Annette's property in north Scottsdale was very comfortable, clean, and well provided. I never met her, but she was very easy to communicate with through phone and messaging. The back yard, with a most beautiful pool, landscaping and verdant citrus trees was like a resort property. It was a most pleasant escape from the ongoing pandemic. Fantastic stay!

We had an amazing stay at this property! The house was very comfortable and well appointed with everything we needed. The backyard was paradise! Lounging by the pool, listening to the sounds of the waterfall and gazing at the cactus and palm trees was fabulous! The neighborhood was quiet and close to great restaurants and shopping. Annette was extremely responsive to my inquiries pre-visit, even buying a few things for the house to make our stay more enjoyable. While there, I texted her a few times to ask about a couple of things, and she responded within minutes. We didn't want to leave, and we even booked our stay for next year before we departed. Thank you, Annette, and we look forward to returning next year!

Desert Oasis

We loved staying at this property! The home has all of the amenities you need for a desert vacation. And the outdoor space is a welcome oasis at the end of the day! We cannot say enough about how good it was to work with Annette. She really helped us out of a jam (last-minute cancellation of another property) and went out of her way to make sure we were comfortable and enjoyed our extended vacation in Scottsdale. At first I was concerned that the location was a bit out there, but quickly realized Scottsdale had grown and the North Scottsdale area had become a highly desirable area to stay in with golf, hiking and pickleball really close, and a tremendous array of restaurants and shops to choose from. I highly recommend booking this home!

1st Long Getaway, Amazing!

We had an amazing time at this Arizona Oasis and spent the time enjoying many things Arizona. From Spring training, Golfing, Hiking, Walking in the neighborhood, NCAA Tournament and just some family in the back yard by the pool, fire pit and of course the grill, along with the abundance of nearby restaurants options. The backyard is very large and the neighborhood is extremely quite, and we felt like we were in our own private resort. Of course when you do a long-term rental you are going to run into some hickups along the way, but Annette was extremely responsive to any of the smallest items. Top notch service!

Pinnacle Paradise

My husband, myself and my three adult children spent six days during the Thanksgiving holiday at this stunning property. The pictures simply do not do this gorgeous home justice! We absolutely loved everything about the home. The pool and yard is like a mini resort and is extremely private. We had beautiful weather and just loved relaxing at the pool. The interior of the home was also spectacular. We had more than enough room for the five of us. We utilized the grill and the well-stocked kitchen several times during our stay. Annette, was the best owner that I have ever dealt with on VRBO. She was SO quick to respond to any/all questions, and the document that she provided to us prior to our arrival was so comprehensive, nothing was overlooked. We had the most delightful stay, and will most definitely stay at this property again in the future.

Beautiful property

We just finished a 6 night stay in Annette’s Scottsdale home. It was just my husband and I, but this home has a wonderful flow that could easily accommodate a family or a group of couples. The backyard is filled with mature desert landscaping, as well as a beautiful pool. We paid the extra to have it heated and the afternoon sunshine provided the perfect opportunity to take advantage of that. The waterfall is relaxing to have as background noise and is lovely to watch. The fruit trees on property were filled with citrus. It was hard to come home to store bought grapefruit after walking out and picking them warm from the sun and squeezing them into my Margarita. The location is incredibly convenient to many very nice restaurants. It’s also close to West World which is a convention center. We attended the Barrett Jackson car show while we were in town. It was incredible. The communication from Annette was perfect. I would highly recommend this home. .

We are somewhat new to the owner's side of the equation having been VRBO renters on Maui , in New Orleans and in the Caribbean. We LOVE Scottsdale and the beautiful desert landscape, and have purchased the home of our dreams....which are sharing through VRBO with other like-minded paradise seekers!
