After a full day enjoying one of these venues, you will thoroughly relax and enjoy the respite of this comfortable and stylish townhome. Want a day to just relax at home? Take a leisurely morning stroll around the property, enjoy a quick lunch, and spend the afternoon watching TV, reading on the patio, or taking a quick nap.
Our townhome has been completely remodeled and updated 2 years ago, with the floor plan opened up, the ceilings raised, and skylights added throughout. The bright and open floor plan opens up to both an intimate front patio, and a spacious secluded back yard with a 6 person hot tub, lots of seating, night lighting, and mature landscaping. Enjoy premium finishes such as travertine floors and wainscoting throughout, a brand new wood floor in the main living area, plush bedroom carpets, and premium cabinets with granite countertops.
We thoroughly refreshed the home in December, and it is completely furnished with 2 brand new king size beds, bedding, couches, dining set, bar stools, TV's in the living room and both bedrooms, plus numerous decorator touches.
As you step through the double carved wood entry doors, you will notice the expansive entry with custom tile and travertine, accent lighting, and large open ceiling.
The living room features an entertainment friendly layout with a full size sofa, loveseat, and a separate reading area. Enjoy the 48” flat screen TV, mounted above the classic wood burning fireplace. The available Wi-Fi network will help you stay in touch with the world, or look for that new restaurant. Views from the living room to the spacious patio beyond, are sure to please, while skylights flood the room with natural sunlight.
Transition into the bistro style seating area, or the dining and kitchen bar area, with entertaining spaces thoughtfully laid out and complete with touches such as a 28 bottle wine cooler, bistro style seating and table, or traditional dining for 4. The open kitchen bar counter allows the chef to completely be a part of the entertaining, while till preparing appetizers or hour de ouvres. Drinks can be served from the wine refrigerator and the sideboard.
The kitchen comes compete with all appliances, dishes, and utensils needed, including a large side by side refrigerator / freezer with ice and water, coffee maker, can opener, blender, spices, etc. If outdoor cooking is your choice, enjoy the new 5 burner grill on the back patio.
At the end of the evening retire to the luxurious master suite, taking time to relax and read on the king size bed, or the cozy reading space, watch TV on the 42” flat screen, or step out onto its own patio to enjoy a nightcap or a late night hot sub soak under the stars (or both!).
The master bath features premium travertine tops and splashes, his and her sinks, and a glass block enclosed sunken shower located in the private toilet room. The large master closet assures enough room for both his and her clothes and luggage.
If guests are joining you, they too will enjoy their own large bedroom complete with a second king bed and 40” flat screen. This bedroom also opens to the front patio, has its own spacious walk in closet, and is adjacent to the second bath, complete with a large shower and travertine touches throughout.
For those times when clothes need to be freshened up, dry cleaning pickup and delivery is available, or the handy laundry room by the kitchen can meet the need as well with its washer and dryer.
The spacious and secure garage has plenty of room for two cars (a rental car can be reserved and arranged as well), golf clubs, and room to park the four beach style bicycle cruisers available for your use. Enjoy the miles of bike friendly paths available Scottsdale has to offer.

About Carolyn and Aric Clawson
Our names are Aric and Carolyn - we are native Arizonans who love buying, selling and renovating properties. We have 3 kids, one in college and 2 in high school. Our favorite travelling destinations are the wine country north of the Bay area, Puerto Penasco Mexico ( where we own a beachfront rental property), and in the summer, Pinetop Arizona. Our most recent travel experience was a cruise that took us to Aruba, the Panama Canal, Cartagena Columbia, Costa Rica, and Nassau. The more we travel, the more we come to appreciate Arizona, and the wide variety of climates, activities and amenities that are available to the people who live and visit here.

Santa Fe I and 11 are well established subdivisions that were built in the highly desirable McCormick Ranch development in Scottsdale in approximately 1978. It has an excellent HOA that meticiously maintains the properties and grounds at all times. Continuous maitenace schedules refresh the paint, landscaping and streets on an ongoing basis. Most owners are longtime residents that cherish the area and appreciate a quiet and safe environment. Many enjoy the multitude of immediate amenities such as the greenbelt, walking and biking paths, and the very close proximity of golf restrauants, shopping, sports and entertainment. We believe in the property and the area so much, we fully intend on keeping the house for years to come. With two kids in high school, and one in college, we halfway expect at least one of them to take advantage of it in the future!
What makes this Townhome unique
The property speaks for itself. it is a very well done renovation in an excellent stable location that is private yet open, light and brite, and exhudes an air of comfortable sophistication. The spaces in the house and outdoors are are confortable and quiet. The back patio and yard are an absolute oasis, perfect for reading or relaxing. The materials, fit and finish are on par with a custom home (as that is what we build). Carolyn's degree and experience in interior design is evident in the furnishings, accessories, and necessities that try and keep in mind your needs. We live 10 minutes away, and are available during your stay to address needs that may arise in a timely and efficient manner. The location and area are the crowning touch! Scottsdale in mid winter offers an almost immeasurable variety of events, shopping, restrauants, sports and golf in an upscale yet laid back environment. The city is tailored to the needs of the casual and business traveler.

Everything was perfect
This is our second time stay here and love every minute of it. The unit is very well appointed,the hosts are very helpful and it’s a great location to bike paths will come back
Relaxing and beautiful
Loved the beautiful home in a a perfect beautiful location. The hot tub is always a pleasure. We enjoyed using the bikes (provided to us) on the scenic bike paths. Will be back next year!
Great Scottsdale Vacation
Nice quiet HOA with a convenient location. Very nice townhouse. Kitchen easy to use. Four nice, newer townie bikes to ride on the great bike paths that go on for miles. Walk or ride a few blocks to Starbucks and restaurants.
Master bed very comfortable and we slept very well.
Owner very easy to work with. Would stay again on our next Scottsdale trip.

Nicely remodeled, very well equipped home in a beautiful neighborhood. Just a couple of minutes from Albertson's grocery and some of our favorite places to dine. As veteran VRO folks that frequent the Scottsdale area, this one would come highly recommended. We will be staying here again!
