Perfect Location 3 miles fr Main St with Wildlife, Hot Tub and 2 King Bed/Baths

Perfect location for your getaway! 2 King Bedrooms with 2 On-Suite Baths. Enjoy the views and wildlife from the porch in the mornings (deer, birds, butterflies), and the epic sunsets and stars from the hot tub or fire pit in the evenings, while still being close to the shopping, restaurants and nightlife in town. Fully renovated and comfortably furnished, this open concept 2Bd/2Bth 1930's farmhouse sits on 5 acres in the center of it all. This red door darling is 3 miles from Main to the right (west) and 3 miles from the wineries on 290 to the left (east) and has fully equipped kitchen and a comfy living space with everything you need to enjoy a relaxing stay. House and grounds are pet-friendly but not child-friendly so kiddo's must be 15 yrs or older. FYI: Because of the rural location driveway cameras are in use to assist us with guest arrivals and departures.

Perfectly quiet stay

This was our 3rd time to stay but our longest at 5 days. We enjoyed our time with evenings sitting outside listening to the locusts and the occasional cow bawling. Minimal traffic made for a peaceful time on the front porch. When we tired we enjoyed a restful sleep on the bed. Can’t really say anything bad about this property! We’ll be back of course.

Magical getaway!

The house is perfect. Comfortable, everything you need, special touches...the works. We stayed three nights; I spent all three mornings on the front porch with my coffee, watching the butterflies, hummingbirds and occasional deer. The view is lovely. It is peaceful but convenient to town. Plenty of towels, wine openers, extra blankets, everything. We didn't use the fire pit or indoor fireplace, but all supplies were there if we so chose. We used the hot tub one night but didn't heat it up as it was still 80 degrees outside. It still provided a nice soak and star-watching spot. Book it; you won't be disappointed!

Nice relaxing stay

It was the perfect place. It was nice and quiet and relaxing, but still close enough to town to go in for dinner and then to be out of the busyness of Main Street. It was great, it was in between the vineyards and downtown Fredericksburg.

Yes, it really is that great

There's a reason this rental has so many positive reviews. Great house - which looks even better in person - that was clearly designed with weekend getaways in mind. The place had everything we needed and things we had no idea we even wanted (like a stocked dog waste station to help keep the yard clean and string lights everywhere outside to make the house more visible at night and provide a chill vibe for hot tubbing). Literally 10 minutes from everything you want to do in Fredericksburg. And the property managers couldn't be nicer or more available. A perfect rental we're very likely to return to in the future.

Cozy and Quiet

The home is nicely furnished and pet friendly. Location is far enough out to have some peace and quiet but convenient to downtown Fredericksburg. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Wonderful house for a week stay!

My husband and I stayed in this beautiful home for a full week. While it looked attractive in the photos it is even more impressive in reality .The spacious house is recently renovated and tastefully decorated with top notch appliances, everything you need to cook with in the kitchen, comfortable beds, plenty bedding and towels, a spacious hot tub, grill, even bicycles and helmets.Very close to town but in a peaceful area with rocking chairs on the porch to watch birds, cows, and sunsets from. One of our favorite places we have stayed and highly recommended. Communication with Tara and Jeff was excellent.

Perfect Location

We loved the location and the house! I was looking for a place in the country, but close enough to Fredricksburg, and this was the place. The hosts have many amenities available to guests. The house had everything we could want. Tara was kind enough to do some grocery shopping for us, before our arrival. This made settling in very easy. It was fun to watch the two longhorns next door and listen to the lambs on the other side of us! This house would be a great base for wine tasting at all the nearby wineries.

Delightfully Charming Getaway

Inviting, beautiful, clean and quiet getaway that was perfect for my husband, me and our Aussie (with the fenced yard). Tara was incredibly generous with information, details in the home and property. Highly recommend - would love to stay there again.

Loved this little farmhouse so much!

Perfect place for a quiet getaway with dog. Beautifully decorated home with every amenity. So enjoyed watching the deer and the birds as well as enjoying the hot tub.

Amazing stay away from (and at the same time, close to) it all

This property is a true gem just outside the downtown area of Fredericksburg. The distance from town means you can enjoy the amazing solitude (and quiet and nature and wildlife and sunrises) while at the same time be a quick 5 minute drive from Main St Fredericksburg and many numerous wineries and breweries. It's a great location and a well kept, well equipped little hideaway. Communication with the owner (Tara) was always quick, informative, and super helpful. The property has a well stocked kitchen (equipment) should you want to cook, along with a great space to stretch out while watching TV or just enjoying the views or a book or whatever. The bedrooms are great and a great sleep, and the bathtub is amazing and so relaxing. Details are not overlooked at this property with instructions for operating everything, plenty of towels, dishes, everything you need for an enjoyable stay in Texas Hill Country. This property is the perfect place to stay, whether you want to get away from it all, or simply have a place to lay your head after a long day exploring the area.

Quiet and Relaxing

We enjoyed our stay in the country. The house is super clean, well decorated, and organized with lots of information throughout the house. Location is easy access to Main Street but far enough out to feel relaxed and get away from the crowds of the city. Tara was a great host. We would stay again.

Wonderful!

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our visit. The house is exactly as pictured and described. The hosts have really thought of all the little things to make the stay comfortable, and as much like home as possible. The kitchen is well equipped, and the location is perfect for enjoying both town and country. We will return and hope to stay here again. You won’t regret a stay at this beautiful home.

Perfect location, Perfect house, Perfect host!

This house was absolutely perfect. We loved being in the middle of farms with deer, cows and horses directly across the street yet only 10 minutes from town and vineyards. The house is a great size for 4 people and has everything you could ask for including a fenced in yard surrounding the house which allowed our dog to be free to run around. The host was very welcoming, checking in with us multiple times to make sure we were doing okay. In a nod to “This is Spinal Tap”, this is definitely an 11! This will definitely be our go-to place for future trips to Fredericksburg.

Perfect quiet weekend getaway

Beautifully decorated and updated, this old farmhouse provides an excellent opportunity to enjoy a quiet time out in the country. However, the home is only a couple minutes from Hwy 290 and downtown Fredericksburg. We enjoyed the peace and tranquil evenings/mornings while staying here. You’ll enjoy it, too!

Fabulous Property

This was our second visit to this property. This property is perfect for us. Love the fact that it is close to town but yet far enough away from town to enjoy nature and the wildlife. Loved watching the deer come to the feeder. We really enjoyed the fire pit and my husband, the Boy Scout in him, built us a blazing fire. We cook a lot and the kitchen had almost everything we needed to make a fabulous meal. We plan on coming back again next year.

Escape to Paradise

Our FAVORITE Place to go!!

I have taken "my girls" to this house two years in a row and they want to return next year. We find ourselves quite content to just stay there or hurry back once we have been in town for a few hours. Tara is AWESOME and helps add ideas to our plans and words of wisdom about to do or not to do. It is an overall wonderful place to stay - especially if you enjoy watching butterflies, hummingbirds, and deer while listening to cows mooing when you are enjoying your cup of coffee on the front porch.

Absolute Perfection

Book the property, you'll be so happy. The pictures don't do it justice, it's absolutely gorgeous. Perfectly decorated, you can tell so much planning and effort goes into making it a comfortable, clean, and beautiful space. The yard and gardens are so well thought out and maintained, it makes sitting on the front porch in the morning while drinking a cup of coffee and watching deer eat truly magical. The owners are wonderful and communicative, Tara even checked in with me during a storm to make sure I hadn't lost power or electricity, she was an absolute doll. The location is fantastic, you're so close to town, the wineries, and even a dog daycare if your pup needs some playtime, but still in a wonderful bubble of quiet and solitude in the farming area. Perfect place to relax and recharge. This will be my go-to spot to stay in Fredericksburg from now on, I'm already planning my next trip, haha.
