Lovely Modern & Stylish 2 bd & 1 bath

LIVING ROOM:
The instructions are in the WELCOME BOOK by the front door. 1 leather couch and 2 leather chairs. You'll find a 50" Smart TV with Netflix, but if TV is not your thing. There are some popular games and books in the unit.

BEDROOM:
There are two private bedrooms with solid core doors to reduce noise and ensure your privacy. The bedrooms have queen mattresses with dressers, night stands, lamps, remote control lighting and ceiling fan, on colder nights for your comfort you’ll find portable heaters in the bedroom closet. There are 2 possible sleeping options 2 queen beds. To ensure a good night sleep we use quality Sheets, Blankets and Down Pillows. Both bedrooms have 40” smart TV”S set up with Netflex.

KITCHEN:
The fully equipped Kitchen is designed for cooks and those who just like to eat. We supply a variety of Coffee, Hot Chocolate, Sweeteners and perhaps a few small treats! Meals are a breeze with the Gas Stove with 4 burners, Refrigerator with Ice Maker, Microwave, Toaster, Blender, Pressure Cooker, Roasting Pans, Baking Pans, A Waffle Maker and a Variety of Pots & Pans. If BBQ is what you crave there is a Gas Weber BBQ grill upon request.

BATHROOM:
The Bathroom has been tastefully remodeled with a Soaking Tub with Rain Shower. We supply Natural Soaps including Shampoo, Conditioner, Body & Hand Soap. Ample Soft Cotton Towels. We provide standard provisions. Soft Towels and Linens, Hairdryer, Q-Tips, Make-up Remover & Razors.

OUTDOOR:
The patio will be your favorite spot to relax. Mornings are best spent in the garden with a fresh cup of tea, while warm summer evenings call for a nightcap on the patio. No matter how you spend the day, follow it with a restful night sleep. If you are interested in going to the beach we have what you’ll need to be comfortable, Beach Chairs, Beach towels, Picnic Basket, travel mugs and Umbrellas for Beach or Rain.

PRIVATE APARTMENT:
The living quarters are yours and yours alone for the duration of your stay as well as the shared sitting area in the front yard.

We are in Oakland's Dimond District a peaceful neighborhood that's walkable to coffee shops, restaurants & The Food Mill a Natural Grocery store (5 Blocks). Oracle Arena (5 Mi), UC Berkeley (7 Mi), Mormon Temple (1 Mi,) Yoshi's Jazz Club (5.2 Mi.) We are a 10 minute car ride to downtown Oakland or The Claremont Club & Spa with all their nightlife. If hiking is your thing many trails (2 Mi), and the very special Montclair Village (2.5 Mi) offering a Farmers' Market. Easy to get a LYFT or UBER ride.

The apartment is centrally located, close to San Francisco and many great tourist sites! We are in Oakland's Dimond District which is a safe family neighborhood. Less than 2 mile to best hiking trails. The apartment is comfy, contemporary and modern surrounded by swaying palms. End the day with a glass of Californian wine in the private front yard. You'll enjoy comfortable seating, beds and bedding, Many guest have commented on on how great their stay was. Please read the reviews. I live on the property. Perfecto!

ALL the comforts of home. Great communications. Lots of great books of all genres to read. Selection of board games. Joanne thought of everything. Fully stocked kitchen, and I mean fully. From dishes to coffee to sugar and creamer and even some spices and oil. Beds & pillows great, shower great. Very spacious and exactly as shown. Outside there are 3 steps to get in. I believe this is a three unit property but we never heard anything through the walls, not even running water, nor did we see anyone (except Joanne). We felt extremely safe-no hesitation whatsoever. Walk to many restaurants 0.9 miles away or less. Would definitely stay again!

One of the best places I’ve stayed so far!

The property was so clean, well-organized, and located near lots of things to do. The neighborhood was quiet and great for walking in the mornings. Joanne was a lovely host and was quick to update us with anything happening on the property. Definitely would book here again!

Comfortable Stay in Oakland

My husband, daughter, and I stayed at this lovely home for four nights. Upon our arrival we could tell this property was clean, well maintained, and welcoming. The neighborhood was great, the community was quiet, and we immediately felt at home here. The layout worked really well for us. The only issue was the bed my husband and I slept in was very soft, but the beds had nice pillows, sheets, and blankets. Other than this, we had no issues. The home was well stocked with lots of clean towels, hangers, board games, toilet paper, paper towels, clean dishes/cookware, coffee/tea, and even a few snacks. Joanne was very easy to get in touch with and we appreciated her responsiveness. We were very happy here and would love to stay here again in the future.

Great Stay!

The property was wonderful! The owner supplies everything you need other than food! Her welcome basket of snacks and bottled water was greatly appreciated. The owner lives on site, which was very helpful when we accidentally locked ourselves out! Would definitely stay again.

Perfect.

Exceeded our expectations. Our family of 5 were extremely comfortable and had everything we needed. Everything is quality in the rental, including all kitchen supplies, appliances, towels, blankets (lots of extra blankets), and even down to the soaps. The owner pays attention to details that you wouldn’t think about until you’re missing those things. Also very clean, even the extra blankets are sealed in containers so you know they’re clean and that the owner has a process to make sure everything is clean, which is greatly appreciated. Highly recommended!

Great place to stay

Joanne was very prompt answering questions prior and during our stay. Someone commented earlier that the walls were thin, but there was someone staying in the place next to us, and we never heard them. The only thing we heard was the garbage truck, but they are noisy, but that never bothered us. The place was as described and was perfect for our vacation!

Excellent choice for SF/Oakland visit

This was great for us. Charming as in the pictures. Joanne was unfailingly pleasant and always responded immediately. Very private lodging- in fact we didn't get a chance to meet Joanne in person although I believe she lives on site should the need arise. The patio got hardly any use by others so that was nice. Neighborhood is super safe with lots of dog walkers etc. Perhaps the main street down the hill is a bit more urban but we didn't have any trouble. Better choice for those with a car although you can reach the bus stop Safeway restaurants etc. on foot. Wall to adjoining flat is a bit thin. We were lucky in that it was empty or had very quiet tenants but something to be aware of if you are sensitive to noise - or have your own noisy kids! Big TV's in living room and bedrooms. Joanne has thought of everything with loads of blankets, pillows and luxury sheets+ towels. Couch-bed is very easy to use and comfortable. Enjoy!

Lovely apartment with all your needs

We have stayed in many rentals over the years. This place is cute and clean. There were a few fresh flowers and chocolates laid out for us. We so appreciated the well stocked kitchen. We were busy most of the day and evening during our stay so it's always nice to wake up and make your own coffee and fix a breakfast without the frustration of not having an appliance that you need. We had everything we needed. We also had a crazy travel night getting there and JoAnne helped us check in a little early, so my grumpy kiddos could get some rest.

Luxurious apartment with plenty of space

This property is lovely and is in a very quiet neighborhood. There were plenty of places for our family to sleep, and all the beds were comfortable, even the sofa bed. I had a hard time getting in to the lock box, but fortunately my 11-year-old son is more mechanically minded than I am--he had no problem, so it was probably my own fault! Well stocked kitchen and plenty of on-street parking. There were also books and games for us to use. We would definitely stay here again.

Adorable, clean, and relaxing unit

My family and I enjoy our stay at this beautiful unit. The unit was amazing, it was clean and most of all relaxing. The unit had everything we needed for our stay. Terrific overnight stay for concert in Oakland!

We did not want to plan on driving home after a Friday night concert at the Paramount so we stayed here for the night... best decision ever!! It was so cute and clean and great area, short Uber ride to downtown so we also avoided parking. Great VRBO find :)

We just loved it. Only a few min away from the Coliseum. We came to celebrate my son's 25th birthday. Very clean. The amenities were amazing. I was very grateful for the coffee, creamer. Beautiful decor. Very comfortable bed. Felt very welcoming just like home. Would definitely recommend when staying in Oakland to stay in this charming apartment. Also loved loved loved the outside sitting area. Very peaceful

So clean!!

I travel a lot and this was the cleanest house I have ever rented. The attention to detail was great. Plenty of parking and very nice neighborhood. I would stay here again the next time I visit Oakland.

Best VRBO experience ever!

We had so much fun staying in this apartment. Joanne has thought of every detail to make your stay comfortable and convenient. She met us upon arrival and was so friendly and helpful. We did have a small issue with the coffee maker and she dropped coffee by our apartment so we could make a cup the next morning. She was very responsive and takes really good care of the VRBO. Thank you, Joanne!

Pleasant stay

The house was clean and spacious enough for six people, we enjoyed the stay a lot. The kitchen had everything it should have, so it was easy to prepare some food, too. The host was kind, friendly and responsive, I’d definitely recommend this accommodation or go back myself.

My family and I really enjoyed our stay at Joanne's place. Every detail of the apartment from beginning to end is well thought-out in regards to the guest experience. Joanne was attentive to anything we may need but not overbearing by any means. The only downside to our stay is that our trip was only 2 short days :/ Next time we're in town we hope Joanne will have us back.

I looked for many years before buying the property. I chose this neighborhood because, I was looking for a safe place to raise my family. You'll love the close vicinity to Site Seeing in the San Francisco Bay Area. Bart is 2.9 miles away, 5 miles from Downtown Oakland & 10 miles from Walnut Creek. 1 mile away from wonderful walking & hiking trails.
