This was our 3rd visit to this beautiful home! It’s perfect for our annual Forced Family Fun weekend! It is in a great location and is well appointed. Jeanmarie was very gracious and helpful with our questions… we highly recommend it and will certainly go back!!!
Excellent communication with host, beautiful spacious home with antique feel, kitchen came with many supplies to make us feel even more at home, main level had accommodations for my two family members with limited mobility Highly recommend this home!!
This house was perfect for our family celebration, which consisted of 11 adults. We had many many laughs as we played games around the huge table! Would definitely stay here again!!

We are so happy you enjoyed yourselves and hope to welcome you back again in the future!
This historic property is absolutely beautiful, well maintained and so homey. We were on the Cape for my father-in-law's memorial service and needed a place to accommodate all eleven of us. This house was perfect and the location was so convenient. Our host was very kind and welcoming, giving us extra time beyond the usual checkout time to give us a breather before heading back home. We cannot begin to express our gratitude.
Wonderful home and location on the Cape. The front porch was a perfect spot to relax and enjoy a cup of coffee. The home was spacious for our group of 10. We would stay here again
We had a wonderful stay at The Captain's House and there was plenty of bedrooms, bathrooms and space to gather or be alone reading or resting. Tons of amenities including outdoor space and a grill. We will be back!

Enjoy the rest of your summer,
The Giordanos
We had 11 of us and it was perfect. Everyone had their own space with huge tables so we could all eat together. Nice quiet street within walking distance of the beach. Ideal vacation spot for a large family.
We got together here for an army reunion for a group of us who served together over 30 years ago. The owner was awesome to work with and the house was perfect for us, plenty of space. Thank you again!

A large house with room for my entire family including eight adults and five young children. Great location. Walkable to beach. Great front yard and landscaping. Great common areas for family to be together and enjoy, including outdoor barbecue area. Air conditioning work well in every room. Our family had a great time.

We are part-time residents of Centerville who needed a large house to accommodate our family for a wedding weekend. The Captain’s House exceeded all expectations for this event. The host was incredibly helpful for any of our requests. We highly recommend this property if you are interested in a classic New England sea captains home. We loved our stay and you will too.
Wonderful location and house. Large enough for 8 guys to spread out and enjoy themselves. Nice front yard for games and private back area to cook and sit by the fire. Jeanmarie was great to work with and was very responsive. Thanks For a fantastic weekend!

Thank you Tony! We are so happy you all enjoyed the weekend despite the weather not cooperating. Hope to host you again in the future!
Perfectly situated. Big old house in great shape. Lots of stairs but with 6 adults plenty of room to stretch out. Only complaint was no cable so no network TV. Had a CO2 detector going off when we arrived and the Home Watcher was there to put in a new battery within 30 minutes
This is a fabulous house for a large group - plenty of "personal" space at the same time very warm and inviting. Centerville is a wonderful village and Craigville Beach is a short bike ride away. The house was clean and had all the needed items for a week on the Cape - beach chairs, grill, outside space with fire pit, etc. We had a wonderful week and will certainly keep this house in our list of possibles when we return to the Cape again.

We are so happy that you had such a great time on the Cape and at The Captains House!
This wonderful large home easily accommodated my family of 10. Hard to believe it was originally built in the 1880s, since it was so nicely updated! This home is very well stocked with any kitchen items needed, as well as a nice variety of spices.
We celebrated the Fourth of July with a barbecue, followed by roasting marshmallows for s’mores at the fire pit. Great memories!
Already booked for next year!

We are so happy you had such a wonderful time! We can’t wait to welcome you back next year.
The Sea Captain’s house was a unique experience for our group. Within walking distance to the beach, which we did daily, and getting to experience staying in an 1800 Victorian home, our stay will forever be a fond memory! We were a group of 8, four mothers and four daughters, ages 50-80. The only challenge we had was the third floor rooms and bathroom, which would probably be more suitable for teenagers. Lovely home!
The home was perfect for our multi-generational Thanksgiving Celebration. Ages ranged from 4 to 85 years old. We had plenty of room to relax and the rooms were comfortable and cozy. The home came stocked with tons of plates, cups, utensils, etc etc etc which is always important. We had a great time!
Our host was communicative and was very committed to making sure we had everything we needed. If we need to host a similar family gathering, this will be our first choice!
Thank you!!
We stayed at The Captain's House with three generations, including seven children and the house was perfect for our large party. We spent most of our time in the rocking chairs on the front porch or around the fire pit on the back patio. The front yard was perfect for the kids to play wiffle ball. The house is close to everything you need, including several beaches and our favorite spot-Joshua's Pond. Property manager was quick to respond when we needed the gas grill repaired for those important grill nights! Grocery store and package store super close as well. If you are looking for an idyllic Cape Cod vacation, this is your house!

Thank you! We were happy to host you and so pleased that you enjoyed your time on the Cape and at the Captain's House.
After an amazing week in Centerville, the captains house will be positively etched in the collective memories of Kivney family summer vacations. The house provided all the features we could want, most importantly a tremendous front porch, large yard, fire pit and outdoor dining capabilities. Not to mention the ample living spaces with all the expected comforts of home. Proximity to the recreation center baseball field added a new element to our memories this year as wiffleball heroics will be discussed and embellished for years to come. And, of course, the old standbys: Craigville Beach, Four Seas ice cream and great cape golf courses delivered hours of excitement and fun
Thanks So much for sharing your awesome house with us.

The Captain's House was a wonderful place to stay while we were in town for a wedding. There were 13 of us and there was plenty of room for everyone. The house is gorgeous with a well stocked kitchen, much better than any other rental I've used. Jeanmarie was very accessible and responsive. I would definitely stay here again given the opportunity.
This was the perfect house for our family to rent during our holiday in Cape Cod. With our 4 adult children, their spouses and our 4 grandchildren under 4, we never felt cramped for space, loved that we could cook in the big well furnished kitchen and eat together in the spacious dining area. With the seven bedrooms and 5 bathrooms, everyone had their own space and never qa line for the shower. It's location on the cape was also great as we could walk to the beach, cute little village shops, but also close for a quick drive to Hyannis. My family wants to return.

We had a great time at the Captain's house. The house has the perfect number of beds and a nice big dining table for our group of friends. Very cute little town store a few steps away. We had all of the amenities that we needed and the property manager was available and helpful!
