Camp Tucked Away is a 3 bedroom, 1.5 bath camp set on a knoll in the Cranberry Lake area.

The camp offers 3 bedrooms with 1.5 baths and comfortably sleeps 6. There is a king bed in the master bedroom, a queen bed in the second bedroom, and a king bed in the loft bedroom. Enjoy the jetted tub in the main bath after a full day of activities to relax and replenish your tired muscles.

If it is too cold to enjoy the deck area stay inside and enjoy the warmth of the wood stove. You can watch TV with Netflix or YouTube TV. A nook off the living area gives guests a place to read or work on their laptop. Wifi throughout the camp connects guests to the internet and their social media feeds. A nearby cell tower offers excellent coverage for your cell phone.
If you like less connected activities then enjoy the board games, puzzles, cards and books. A separate family room on the lower level is perfect for the kids to play with toys, watch a movie, or play a game.

What a fabulous home! Check in was a breeze. The house was super clean and the kitchen was fully stocked with pots, pans, glasses and dishes. We are looking forward to returning soon.
This was our second time staying here at the cabin and it was amazing! We come up every year the same weekend and now that a group of us have kids we needed a place to get away for naps! The house was spotless and inviting and worked great for our group! The hosts were fantastic and gave all info needed! We will be rebooking again next year!

We strive to exceed our guest’s expectations and are glad we accomplished that. You were a pleasure to host and are welcomed back anytime.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Camp Tucked Away. It is a beautifully decorated rustic cabin in the woods with all of the amenities that we needed to make it feel warm, inviting and just like home. We were very impressed by how well appointed and spotlessly clean the house was with many little nooks and crannies to hide away in and read or just "be". We hardily recommend Camp Tucked Away!

Thank you for sharing your comments about Camp Tucked Away. We strive to make it a special place where you can relax and enjoy the beauty of the area.
My wife and I do a lot of weekends in the countryside to get away from the big city, finding cabins via VRBO or AirBNB etc.
This is probably the nicest property we've ever rented - immaculately clean, beautiful setup, swinging couch in outdoor screened-in porch, ceiling fans everywhere, quiet neighborhood, ample kitchen and grill supplies, and incredible attention to detail - they even left us a new toothbrush and toothpaste in case we forgot our own!
Chocolates for our anniversary when we arrived with a handwritten note.
Stellar!

So glad you and your wife enjoyed your time at Camp Tucked Away. It is a very special place and we strive to help you enjoy it as much as we do. The Cranberry Lake area is an undiscovered gem in the Adirondacks.
Pictures do tell 1000 words. Walking into the property.... smiles abound. The pictures are lovely but not sure justice is done by them. LOVE the house, furnishings and decor. So much that discovered where the balsam pillows were made and bought three to bring home as a treasure. Thank you Paul and Amy for being a part of our Adirondack experience!

So glad you enjoyed your stay and our camp. The Adirondacks are special and time spent in them are never forgotten. We strive to make a stay memorable and we are so glad you took a piece of the Adirondacks home with you.
This is a perfect home to experience the essence of the Adirondack Mountains. The home is set on a hill nestled in a tower of trees; filtering in rays of sunshine and on a rainy day singing a quiet symphony of raindrops through the trees.
The house is beautifully decorated with an old time lake home feel, but you do not want for any modern appliance. Beautiful!!

We are so glad you enjoyed your stay. Cranberry Lake in the winter is spectacular. It is an undiscovered gem for fishing, snowmobiling snowshoeing, cross country skiing or just curling up by the wood stove. You are welcome back anytime.
I love Hallmark movies, which is why I've always dreamed of spending Christmas with my family in a lovely cabin/lodge in the woods with lots of snow. That was exactly our experience. The home was stunning and so well stocked with anything we needed. The hosts were very responsive, understanding and gracious. I could not have asked for a better experience.

Beautiful home, with everything you could possibly need for a cozy, relaxing stay. Family friendly, with games, books, and a fun swing in the yard. Spacious, well appointed kitchen made cooking together fun.
One of the best cabin I rented and definitely the cleanest. Cabin was immaculate from basement to loft. Paul and Amy were also unbelievable hosts. They provided us everything we need and left us a beautiful note and chocolates for our anniversary. Kids enjoyed all what the property and cabin had to offer from toys, games. Definitely coming back.

So glad you enjoyed the camp. The wood stove, internet access, books, and games offered a great diversion to the disappointment of less than ideal conditions for ice fishing. The recent ice fishing derby on the lake had a 15 lb pike taking first prize. Hopefully you get the opportunity to try your luck again.
Our two week stay at Camp Tucked Away was perfect in every way. Paul and Amy thought of everything to make our stay relaxing and comfortable. Their home is beautifully decorated and well laid out. The screened in porch is elevated from the ground and we felt like we were in our own private treehouse with a couch size swing. There were many lovely special touches, but my favorite were the flowers on the deck. The smell from the petunias wafted into the living room in the evening. Thanks Paul and Amy for making our stay go so smoothly.
Five of us (grandmother, mom, dad and two sons) stayed in this house for a week. It was sparkling clean. It is beautifully furnished in high-end Adirondack rustic style. Two decks, one of which is screened in offered lovely settings for conversation and reflection. Multiple books allowed folks to do their own thing—read a book, work a jigsaw puzzle, play games around the large dining room table... The setting in the woods is beautiful and the proximity to Cranberry Lake is great.
We loved our stay and would come back anytime!

We are so glad you enjoyed your stay at Camp Tucked Away. It is a very special place that allows families or couples to relax and reconnect while enjoying the beautiful area. There is never a shortage of activities or adventures to keep someone busy but if slowing down is more your thing then lean back on the glider swing in the woods or catch a nap on the swing in the screened porch. The Cranberry Lake area and Camp Tucked Away offer whatever it is you seek.

Camp Tucked Away
We were pleasantly surprised by this spacious home. Tastefully decorated with three very accommodating bedrooms. A well equipped kitchen, cozy wood burning stove, screened in front porch and unique upstairs loft added to the appeal. Camp Tucked Away was a perfect place to celebrate our daughter’s college graduation weekend with our other adult children and friends. We could definitely see the value though of vacationing here with a younger family since there was a wonderful family room downstairs that we did not even use! Another added bonus is that the property is only a few hundred yards away from the Cranberry Lake boat launch. We would definitely recommend this property and hope to return again soon! Why they chose this property
My wife and I looked for a property in the Adirondack park for over three years. We started our search in Cranberry Lake then expanded to other parts of the park. Somehow the Cranberry Lake area kept calling us back. Finding this camp was exactly what we were looking for. It gave us access to a fabulous lake, hiking in wilderness areas, fishing, winter sports availability, and a great place to relax while unplugging.
What makes this property unique
The screened porch with the full size swing where you can stretch out and listen to the woods was the one thing that made us fall in love with the place. Our ability to launch our boat in the lake and spend the day exploring forever wild shoreline or dropping in a line for fishing makes for a relaxing day. It was the lack of commercialism and development in the Cranberry Lake area that was the biggest selling point for us.
