Our stay in Tahoe was more enjoyable with this house. Good location and right on the water. The home is right off North Lake Blvd so there is some traffic noise but the view and being lakefront more than make up for the noise.
This property had a classic old charm feel and the location gave us direct private access to the lake.
The home was cleaned and well stocked with everything you needed for a home away from home.
Property manager Holly and her husband were very attentive to our needs. Overall I would recommend this home if looking for a quiet, relaxing lake front property.
Mahalo for having us…

Birthday Vacation
The location to lake access is good and view very nice. But, the interior needs repair. The furniture is beyond worn and is not suitable. The couch is so worn you are sitting on the wooden frame, one chair was broken and not usable. I don't expect furniture like my home as it is a rental, but I do expect that the furniture be sufficient to sit and relax.
This house is a little hidden gem. The location can't be beat. The grassy area in front is the best area to hang out in. We brought our corn hole set and played all weekend. Our dog loved the beach and he spent hours swimming for his ball.
The decor is a tad tired but vintage for the time in which it was decorated! Plenty of room, great kitchen to work in and a master suite that goes on and on. Took a bath for sure!
We loved having our boat on the buoy that the owners extend usage of. That was special being able to get on our boat at a moment's notice.
We will definitely come back!

Property description did not match our experience. Not worth price paid.
Properties view of Lake Tahoe was the only accurate, and positive, experience for our group.
There were four adults and four children (all under age 10), one which is immune compromised. We booked this property with the expectation of a clean environment and secluded beach (all highlighted throughout description and top review filter), both failed miserably.
To start, the home was disgusting and looked as if it hadn't been cleaned in months. The upstairs loft area had dust and cobwebs/dead bugs throughout. The jetted tub (highlighted feature) did not work and slipped and fell when stepping in. The bathroom window is either stuck or cemented shut. Windows were missing screens, and there are no fans for any type of ventilation (no AC in home).
The downstairs rooms BOTH had blood stains on the bedding/linens. The smaller bathroom had a mold ring in the toilet, and all bathroom walls were stained with what appeared to be fingerprints, poop, rust, and not sure what else - all bathroom walls were filthly. The furniture in the front room seemed to be missing a cushion and was filled in with pillows (?); in the bare spots, the couch had hair, crumbs, dirt, etc...
The secluded beach was anything but that. A lot of foot traffic, understandably so - it's beautiful here. However, people were behind this property daily camped out on the beach with their families and pets. We learned on day 3 that most were friends of the family.
Extremely disappointing and not worth per night fee.

We are so sorry you had an unfavorable experience. For future guests, we greatly appreciate the opportunity to assist you and fix any issues when you are in house. In the one off chance you find a cleaning issue (our cleaners have a 4.9/5 star rating on all sites) we would be happy to send a team over same day to make things right. As for the condition of the home, much of the furniture and finishings are original, as stated in the listing. You are paying for location. The home is located on a beach that is mostly used by the neighborhood, and can understand how if you are not a seasoned Tahoe traveler you may be surprised by the crowds during peak season (this guest stayed right before 4th of July). We are really sorry to hear you didn't enjoy your stay. It's unfortunate we weren't given an opportunity to help you.
We had a wonderful stay at this property. Although the house and furniture was dated, it was comfortable and clean. Great views and access to the beach. Only downside was that you could hear the cars from the street from the bedrooms. Easy access to Kings Beach and Tahoe City.
The home was located right on the lake! This was perfect for our anniversary and senior golden retriever! Inside there's enough space for gathering or alone time. The front family room was open and airy. Also, the property manager was responsive and friendly!
We had a great visit. The lake and weather was perfect. So easy to access the boat. We had plenty of room for everyone and everything worked well. We will definitely be back.
Property is a very nice lakefront home, spacious and comfortable. However, the furnishings are quite dated, a bit dirty, and uncomfortable. The living room couch is covered with a tacky cloth cover. Two main chairs were quite grimy and very uncomfortable. We should add that area rugs on the hardwood floors were not secure. They slipped and could cause a fall. Not good.
Location is A++, right on the water, steps to the beach. The kitchen/great room layout is great, all facing the water. The only drawback is that the house needs a bit of TLC. Otherwise, a perfect get away house.
The house was super big which was great for our two families staying there. The property manager was super helpful and the handyman was AMAZING!
That being said- the furniture was completely neglected and honestly kind of gross. Most of the screens were broken and there was no real place to have meals with family. For how much we paid we expected a house in better shape.

I'm sorry you felt disappointed. For future guests, we did get a couch cover for the pink velvet 70s couch. We want future guests to know that the photos are accurate. This is a lakefront property with a private lawn and steps down to a secluded beach. The nightly rate is based more on the location and setting than the finishes of of the property.
This is a very cool house with lots of space to run around. Bedrooms and kitchen were well stocked and the lake access is everything. A couple of downsides is there are no restaurants that deliver to this location minus one pizza place. We cooked most every meal. The house like many in Tahoe was 1970’s everything. Particularly the couches and living room furniture were in pretty bad shape. I think they need to be replaced but otherwise the beds were comfy and we enjoyed the master suite upstairs.
Right on the lake . Adequate Parking .
Definitely a mix of 90's and 70's single man decor .
Had the Playboy Cook book and cocktail book.
Beautiful little lawn and garden area between the house and the pebble beach.
Had a great time . Will go back
We enjoyed our time and loved the warmth and love of the location.
Wonderful and very organized
