The high level of repeat business bears testimony to this fact.

This house has been built to maintain the old world charm of a traditional Irish cottage whilst supplying all modern conveniences that today's discerning traveller requires. It resembles home from home which probably explains why so many guests return year after year.

A sunset viewed from the patio outside Fuschia Cottage is one truly magical experience and not to be missed.

About Marian Sheedy

We both grew up in this area and built Fuschia cottage as our home in 1995 when we got married. We lived here for several years until we moved nearby to another house. We both have worked in the catering business since college and currently run Roadford House Restaurant in Doolin village. We have two children - Blathnaid and Jack, a dog called Beans

We enjoy guests coming to our home and make every effort to ensure their holiday in one to remember. Several guests return year after year so they are now family friends.

Our 4th stay at Fuschia cottage. Wonderful. We love the cottage and the Roadford House Restaurant. We enjoy Doolin and the rest of Clare and look forward to our return next year.

Very nice property, wonderful owners

  • 5 of 5

Stayed at Fuschia cottage for 2 weeks. Property is very nice and we had a wonderful stay. Owners are great. If we needed anything they were very responsive. You will not go wrong staying at this property. If we vacation in this area of Ireland again we will definitely stay in Fuschia Cottage. All pictures are very accurate, location is good, amenities good, property very clean and well maintained. Overall an A+ grade.

THE BEST!!

  • 5 of 5

I have stayed at the lovely Fuschia Cottage for a week the past 5 years.. Each year we travel other places as well. We have seen nearly all of Ireland in our travels, but I can honestly say that Doolin and Fuschia Cottage are by far our favorite. Obviously..we keep coming back! The owners have become like family and are always available for whatever we need. Not to mention a great meal at The Roadford House which they also own. The views from the house rival any we've seen in all of Ireland. I have recommended Doolin and Fuschia Cottage to anyone I know traveling to Ireland. We are all booked for year 6!

The True Ireland Cottage

  • 5 of 5

This cottage was what Ireland dreams are made of. The home was warm, cozy and the views were spectacular! Our party of 9 had plenty of room. We were close by all the things we wanted to see, yet far enough out in the country to soak all the scenic views in! The kitchen made it easy for us to cook as it was well stocked with cooking supplies. We would come back here in a heartbeat...and we probably will!

Perfection!

  • 5 of 5

Thank you Frank & Marion! Our stay at Fuschia Cottage was more than we had hoped for. Beautiful, clean cottage with all the comforts anyone could want- comfy beds, hot showers with great water pressure and a very well appointed kitchen. Breathtaking views of the sea and the Burren. We were even treated to some spectacular sunsets. Close by McGann's Pub in Doolin helped to pass some rainy afternoons. Charming villages nearby for groceries, newspapers, or a bite to eat. We would definitely recommend Fuschia Cottage for your stay in west Ireland. Hope to return someday!!

Love Fuschia Cottage!!!

  • 5 of 5

I had stayed at Fuschia cottage back in 2008 with family and returned in 2017 with friends. We all had an excellent time and enjoyed the beauty of this special cottage. Marian and Frank, the owners are the nicest people and were always there to help with anything we needed. The basket of baked items upon arrival was such a nice gesture. You will not be disappointed with the cleanliness, breathtaking views and a cozy place to experience Ireland. I would not stay anywhere else!!! We didn't want to drive into town in the evening, so we used a local taxi...Dennis and his wife were very accommodating. We are ready to return to this very welcoming place.
