Great house and location

We loved our stay. The place was clean and when we needed help with something they were very quick to answer and help us. The house was very comfortable and had everything we needed. We loved the pool, and stayed on it all day long.

We had a fantastic stay! The property is ideal for a family and I used the property to work remotely for the week so the extra space was ideal! The pool was super clean and a great size. They also provided tons of towels, outdoor seating, and beach amenities such as chairs, noodles, beach cart, and an umbrella. It's an easy 10-minute walk to the public beach to enjoy beautiful sunsets. We can't wait to return!

Exactly as described. We didn’t spend a whole lot of time in it but it had everything we needed. There was beach gear you could use which was a plus probably leftover from previous stays. We left a few things for the beach stash too.

Nice location.

Quiet neighborhood with a nice pool. Kitchen was well enough equipped to cook for a family. Pool was very nice. The beds were terrible. They felt like they were 40 yrs old and found two huge cockroaches when we arrived but they were easily disposed of. Overall was a nice place.

Beautiful property, great pool.

Beautiful place for couples wanting to get away with awesome pool. Quick walk to beach, quick drive/uber to all of Marco. Pre check-in communication was awesome, only issue we had was the air conditioner quit working our last night. I tried working thru VRBO (my fault, I should’ve contacted the host), I tried that later but by that time we were ready to leave.

Nice location with walkable distance to beach access

House was nice and the heated pool was a nice extra. BUT Vacasa did not turn on the pool heater that we paid for until the end of the 3rd day. Walk to beach access was a short 10 minute walk, but the beach wagon was broken so the cooler and chairs became very heavy. Beds were REALLY creaky and interrupted a good nights sleep. Don’t know why owner hasn’t fixed this problem?Pool light for night swimming still broken. A couple of newer beach chairs would have been nice. This house could be a 5 star with justA little TLC from the owner.

Short Walk to Beach

We had a short trip to Marco and spent our time in this home. We paid to heat the pool which was delightful. We found the property super clean upon our arrival and the pool was nicely heated. The only reason I gave this a 4 instead of a 5 star rating is due to the need for the house to be updated a bit. The appliances are dated and the frying pans were in need of replacing. There is also a portion of the screened pool enclosure is missing which allowed bugs to come into the pool as well as the outside seating area. With a little TLC, this would easily be a 5 star review. Nice walk to the beach from this home.

Great location, but needed a little TLC

Property has great location, but needs a few maintenance and upgrades. 1) our hot water wasn’t getting above “Luke warm/cold” the entire week, and we made sure we weren’t doing laundry, etc on warm to not deplete the hot water heater. 2) there is no pool light remote, pool has a light but not in the basket… so swimming in the evening isn’t as fun. 3) upon arrival, we had ghost ants, a baby frog and a few other bugs… the property manager did call and we had the ants taken care of which is nice. 4) the window in the living room is barely cracked, and won’t shut all the way. 5) doors looked worn, fresh coat of paint would help, baseboards are beat up a little here and there. 6) couches are pretty worn 7) the front bedroom window was paper thing, you could hear all the road traffic, etc. 8) almost of the blinds are missing pieces or the rod, have to manually move them in position. Overall an average property that needs a little TLC… but it’s in a great location.

Marco Island reunion

We enjoyed our reunion at this 3BR 2B property with pool. The property was functional, clean and comfortable. The location was a convenient 3-4 block walk to the Beach access--a beautiful open and long white sand beach--perfect for easy beach time with the privacy and quiet of a home stay. The bedrooms/beds were comfortable, although the twin single beds were noisy with movement and needed single blankets. Because the 2 bikes at the property were not functional (the property manager could have handled this discussion more kindly), we rented bikes to tour the island and carry us to the beach when desired. We were delighted that the Marco Island Bike shop delivered them and picked them up! There were a few needed house repairs: the lanai was torn in one spot allowing a few small flying insects into the pool area, one chaise lounge had a broken wheel making it unable to be moved or used, the garage door closure required careful attention as the door opened up twice on its own--perhaps a sensor or maintenance issue, and the guest bath door knob and toilet seat fixtures needed maintenance. I tried to share this information with the property manager as we exited as none needed immediate attention--but perhaps the property manager or owner should inspect the rental periodically for repairs. These are easy fixes. We really appreciated the house's great supply of beach towels, umbrellas and wheeled basket/caddie to transport our items to the beach. In addition there were sufficient quality bath towels and linens for all 4 of us--so welcomed. The kitchen was clean and supplied. We also enjoyed, the simplicity of getting in and out of the property, the layout of the house, and our ability to interact and yet have privacy. I used the pool every day...and the property had a pool service that came once during the day. We enjoyed our location and stay! Thank you!

Summer vacay

The house was nice and we really enjoyed it overall. Good amenities with everything in functional condition, although some areas of the house could use new paint. Great location. Two issues, both of which relatively minor. One, the children's rooms did not have the TVs shown in the ad. Second, the pool still needed to be cleaned and vacuumed when we arrived. Would stay here again but would request they ensure pool is cleaned and ready before arrival.

Don’t expect much and during your tool belt.

Check in was fairly easy and painless. That was quickly changed with a broken hall closet door that almost fell and hit one of the guests. Then leading to the back door handle being broken. On top of that the tv didn’t work. Don’t expect to freeze anything in the freezer because it wouldn’t even keep a frozen pizza frozen.
