Exactly as advertised. The place is small but convenient. We were minutes away from the ski lodge which allowed us to ski the most we’ve ever done during a trip.

Nice and convenient for Tahoe Donner - we're used to having a spiral staircase so not an issue for us - a little tight if you are trying to take cases up to the lofted bedroom. Great few days in Truckee thanks

Thank you for choosing Tahoe Vacation Rentals! We hope to see you again soon!
This condo was perfect for my wife and 2 kids. My wife and I stayed in the loft bedroom and the kids had the pullout couch which was large and comfortable. The condo itself was very nice and the commute to Palisades for skiing was quick. It is also basically ski-in ski-out for the local ski resort right next to the property.
This place was fantastic along with the location however, this may apply different to you as it does pertains to me. The bed was extremely uncomfortable and bye the time the 2nd night came, me and my wife had our kids sleeping in that bed while me and my wife opted to sleep on the couch.
We have been to Tahoe Donner many times and just love the location. Close to Truckee, hiking trails, etc. - the condo was perfect for the two of us. Very clean and equipped with everything we needed. Communication with the property management was a breeze (we had to extend by one night due to heavy snow and I80 being closed). Very responsive and knowledgeable. We will be back!
This place is wonderful and the description is very accurate. A few pointers, in the summer make sure. know how to work the ceiling fans so the hot air doesn’t make the place stuffy. Also know that you have to pack out your recycling. There’s plenty of activities all around that are free but also for $20/ not $30 you can use the pool and HOA facilities Other than that enjoy!
I always do my best to be positive and provide open, honest and direct feedback. My experience with the owner Rachel and property manager Nicole failed to meet my expectations despite repeated attempts to seek positive resolution prior to departure. First and the highest priority for me is the unit was NOT CLEAN. We found trash in multiple locations and used dirty Women’s underwear in the unit including a black bra. Completely unacceptable on any level.
Be warned the unit does not have air conditioning and it was painfully hot August 5-8, 2023 inside the unit at all times causing poor sleep. It was definitely NOT worth the price I paid. The liquid hand pump soap was by the bathroom sink , but only had 1/8 inch of liquid soap in bottle. You get two rolls of toilet paper and NO toiletries. I find this excruciatingly painful when paying top dollar for a one bed studio unit. The unit was just not clean. There was thick dust on the spiral staircase to the loft bed. I was explicit and professional in my feedback to the owner and property manager. The feedback after I departed and they inspected the unit was that the unit was clean and they could find no woman’s bra and garbage in unit. So, long story short, the next guest will find it also if they try and plug anything into the wall near the bed in the studio loft. Denial and refusing to listen or call me is unprofessional and in my experience not in compliance with VRBO guidelines and standards for providing professional and clean accommodations for their guests.
I would make other choices on accommodations give the choice again and would never stay at this unit or work with the unprofessional property manager (Nicole).
Quiet and cozy for sure.
Although nestled in the mountains, Summer, and the associated high temperatures do happen.
A box fan, and deck chairs would have been very, very useful. A few small items would have enhanced our stay, though not deal breakers:
A k-cup type coffee set up vs large Mr. Coffee, more than one wine glass, different ice cube tray (struggled way too much with these, building ice machine not operational), and a shower mat.
What a great place, lots of space for the two of us. We were able to go for epic hikes right out of the front door practically. I’m looking forward to staying there again soon. Cheers!
Great little place! Had a short visit so this was perfect for my family of four with two small children. No complaints whatsoever! It wasn't an issue for us but I didn't read the description close enough and wasn't aware there was no stove/oven until after we arrived. Would stay again.

It was not clear in the description that the gym and pool were off site and 2 miles away.
This place was so perfect and incredibly comfortable for my family. We have no complaints and would definitely love to stay again next time we go on vacation!
The property was perfect for our needs. The deck was fabulous for looking out at the clear night sky. The check in process was simple and trouble free. I would definitely stay here again!
