I enjoyed walking the are with our dog and my kids loved all the board games they found. Near Durango, a beautiful town and many beautiful trails and things to discover. We will definitely repeat!

Truly a lovely home with incredible surroundings. The river view is stunning. We had a lovely Thanksgiving weekend with friends.

I believe this was our 6th or 7th stay at this beautiful little cabin. Everything about it works for our family. The location is beautiful and quiet, our girls love to have their own space out in the outer bedroom. The owners are terrific communicators and the check in process goes smoothly. It is a place for our family to be able to relax, enjoy the outdoors and just enjoy being together. We look forward to another summer visit.

We had a few minor grumbles with the comfort of the futon-like mattresses in the guest bedrooms, no air conditioning (we're mountain folks too, so we'll let this go 😉), and my wife was disappointed no hair dryer was available, but it's a nice little property otherwise, especially for the price. Look elsewhere if you want trendy furnishings, flashy amenities, or nearby shopping. Property photos are accurate and what you see is what you get. A clean older home with well-maintained furnishings and fixtures. Restaurants, gas stations, and shopping are all 20-25 minutes away in Durango or Bayfield. There is a single liquor store about 5 minutes away selling nothing but alcohol and a few cigars, but that's it. Great location for the outdoorsy... Lemon and Vallecito reservoirs are both within 10-15 minutes of the property with some fantastic fishing, boating, and picnic areas.

Reviewer Comments: It was very relaxing and peaceful for the family of 5 to sit on the balcony and listen to the river flowing by. The weather was perfect, never above 75 in the daytime. The advertisement picture is exactly as it is. The inside of the house was very nice and clean.
