Our cleaning company includes bath mats with the towels they leave for the guests, for each bedroom. It was either overlooked or the cleaners forgot to include it in the bundle. I appreciate the heads up and will forward the comment. Thank you.

Our cleaning staff does provide kitchen linens so this obviously was an oversight with our staff. I'm sorry to hear this anyway since I want my guests to have all they need to enjoy their stay. I do encourage my guests to call our management team on the island for any issue they have and they will address it immediately. They would have gladly brought over the missing linens if they were contacted and fixed the fan. The fan has been addressed and fixed as well. I appreciate all the comments since I am not there on the island and this is helpful for me to keep on top of things.

I just felt sick when I heard this review. We have had issues with the cleaning staff in the past and yes this is our 3 cleaning company in 5 years. It is very disheartening to say the least. I again alerted our management company about the problem as this is is what affecting our reviews not the quality of the furniture, appliances, fixtures etc. We take a lot of pride in our unit and keep it updated with the best of things and hearing this is just not us or what we represent. The staff is also responsible for alerting us about wearing items and this staff did not do this either. We have addresses the problem and we are on to another company. I really feel awful hearing this as any owner would who puts a lot of time and effort into a unit and then has no control over the basic cleaning aspect. I believe we have it under control.

I did check about the fire alarm as my previous guest, who had stayed a month, said there was no alarms going off so unfortunately, the alarm system did go awry for Thanksgiving week. It is fixed now. As far as the chairs being broken down, I am sad and it is my "bad." We replaced almost everything this past year and a half except the kitchen appliances, these chairs and the couch. Master bedroom furniture, tables, end tables, lamps, reupholstered the dining chairs, new washer and dryer, bed covers but did not replace the couch and unfortunately not the chairs. The couch was replaced a few years ago as it was a very poor choice on our part but the chairs seemed fine last year and we were going to replace them in the next year or two as we rotate replacing items for our own cost base. Well obviously our plan has changed and we will replace them when we go down in January. My Dad is 90 and stays in our condo during part of the winter so this review was very relevant to me and very concerning. I can only say I am very sorry for the inconvenience and issues our guest had. I am a very hands on owner and really do listen to our guests and fix the issues as soon as I can.

Yes, we ordered the new living room furniture 91/2 months ago. It finally arrived September 2nd. We really didn't expect such a long wait and ordered it off season in order to not disturb our guests. The bedrooms furniture is only a few years old so that didn't have to be replaced only the living room. I was not happy to hear that a 2 month old microwave was not working and was told it was going to be replaced. Our management company said they placed the older model microwave in the unit until the new one arrived. I am very sorry about the inconveniences that both of these issues caused but have been diligently working to make them right. I try to make the condo a comfortable place for my guests and work hard at it as well.

Totally surprised and saddened to hear this review. We have had 2 5* reviews before and a 5* review after this stay. We have had cleaning issues in the past but with this new company, a year ago, we have nothing but great comments on cleanliness. Not sure what happened, a different or lack of crew or rushed but the company heard about it as this is the biggest concern to our guests and to me as an owner. The generalization about "bad beds" is really only a singular bed which we were aware of and replaced just after this stay when there was a break in reservations. This particular bed was replaced during COVID after an incident which required us to buy a new one. Unfortunately, during high COVID season, we didn't have many choices on the island for a same day delivery and got what we got. We buy hotel grade beds because they are the best and I am a researcher of products through Consumer Reports and reviews. NONE of the other beds are "bad" or poor quality and that I stake my reputation on! As for poor appliances that just isn't true and I understand the guests frustration about his stay but the appliances are all high quality and researched to the hilt for the best quality and reviews. The dishwasher occassionally doesn't dissolve the pods but having researched this myself when it happened to me, I foundd some answers. First, the dispenser should be dry and not wet. Using pods in wet dispensers tends to have the plastic wrap and the dry detergent stick to the cup before it can dissolve. I dry the dispenser now. Also, over filling the dishwasher and blocking the spray mechanism with dishes, pots and pans, will prevent the spray from dissolving the pod and allowing it to get into the base of the washer. The dishwasher is in fact a high end one which cost a pretty penny because it has a very high decibel count and you literally do not hear it running even standing behind it. This was very important to us as no one wants to hear a dishwasher going while you are in the area. It is not a poor appliance in the least. Addressing the dryer, yes it takes longer to dry clothes in it. It is a stackable dryer/washer set and they don't do the job of a full size one. We asked the same question of longer drying times and the answer was it's size. The dryer can't be overfilled as it needs space to toss and dry items so smaller loads need to be done. Again, my aim is to meet my guests expectations, I didn't here. I'm sorry and hope to in future.
