This was exactly what we needed for our visit to St Pete for the Boston Terrier walk. We walked to dinner every night. The bed was comfy and the yard was excellent for the dogs.

One of the most organized and well stocked kitchens I’ve been in. Amazing! Also a great comfortable king bed. Unit is on the second floor and the other bed is a blow up bed not a pull out. Not sure I read that on the description but this was a last minute arrangement for me in Gulfport as I have a home destroyed by Helene / Milton and was there to work. But I think it’s important to know there are stairs to the 2nd floor and not handicap accommodations… just in case. Beth was wonderful in extending my stay so I could finish work. I’d stay again. My pup loved the fully fenced patio!

Gulfport getaway

This property is nicely situated in walking distance to all the restaurants and shops in Gulfport and to the beach area. It’s spacious for a one bedroom except for the bathroom which was no big deal. One thing to note is there is no dishwasher and it is upstairs. The downstairs laundry room was nice. The kitchen had everything you need. No ice maker in the refrigerator. Also the drain in the kitchen sink was leaking and a plumber had to come out. The outdoor area was in disarray and not welcoming and we weren’t able to ride the two bikes as the tires were flat. If you have any pet allergies, beware. My husband was miserable with that. In addition, the couches were very uncomfortable. All in all, it was a nice place to stay. With all this said, I can’t say we’d stay there again.

Cute place to stay, walkable

Cute place to stay, good amount of space for two people. It’s very walkable to the downtown Gulfport strip of bars, stores, and restaurants, and near the water for views. There are a few great restaurants nearby. For those with dogs, it’s on the second story of the house (stairs) and the property doesn’t have grass. There is a small park about a block away. The neighborhood was very quiet, it’s on a secluded back alley street. We didn’t really see or hear any neighbors. A little tight to pull into the driveway, especially with a bigger vehicle (we have a small truck and managed ok). Hosts were very responsive to questions! They do have bikes to borrow, but bring your own bike locks. The kitchen was beautiful and updated and fully stocked with pots, pans and utensils, and some spices. TVs in both rooms which was nice, and some apps to watch channels without logging in.

Stayed here back in 2017. Stayed again in 2023. I appreciate the consistency in service, cleanliness, and amenities. This is a well-managed property.

The Sand Dollar

We greatly enjoyed our stay at The Sand Dollar in Gulfport. The place was super cute, very clean and very close to restaurants, bars & shops. It's only a couple of blocks from the water as well. We spent many mornings walking before we started our day. We have already talked about going back. If you are looking for a quiet, peaceful place to stay in Gulfport you can't go wrong with The Sand Dollar.

Perfect stay!

I was returning to Gulfport after a year from being away. Gulfport is my happy place and I appreciate the closeness this vrbo was to everything. It felt safe and very convenient. The bed was super big and comfortable and the kitchen has everything I needed to make good breakfasts and dinners. I liked sitting on the patio at night and hearing the Floridian insects. Very peaceful. Wonderful retreat. Thank you for offering!!!

A cozy getaway

This property was perfect for the two of us. It was ideally located within easy walking distance to restaurants, beach, shops. The neighborhood was very quiet. The place itself was comfortable, great bed, all you need in the kitchen, nice shaded patio area. This was our first time to Gulfport, we found people to be very friendly, enjoyed our time there.

We were only there for a week but it was ideal for us as it was a spacious, nicely decorated beach vibe place and it wa only a very short walk to the beach, restaurants and shops. The apartment was very clean and comfortable and although we did not do too much cooking the lovely kitchen had everything you need and more! We enjoyed eating breakfast on the porch, which had a nice tee top feel. Thank you Elizabeth for a very enjoyable stay!

This get away was lovely. Spacious apartment and private yard. Our dog quickly acclimated and loved was walking in Gulfport. It has everything you need and more. Less than 5 minute walk to beach. Shops and restaurants.

Lovely Gulfport Hidden Oasis

This attractive, little apartment tucked away on a quiet alley in Gulfport was more like visiting someone’s home than staying in a vacation rental. The furniture, the kitchen amenities, the bedroom linens, the window treatments…all were high quality, nothing at all like some rentals we’ve been in that have been furnished by the Goodwill and haven’t been upgraded in years. Yes, it’s true that the entrance is on one of Gulfport‘s ubiquitous alleys that run through the middle of the city blocks. But, unless it’s important to you to sit on your front porch and watch people go by, this little oasis is extremely comfortable, conveniently located to Gulfport’s waterfront district, and well equipped — absolutely the nicest rental we’ve ever stayed in.
