River Run Condo w/ Private Balcony & Mountain Views, Short Walk to Base Area!

This 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom ground floor condo sleeps 6 with a king bed, a queen bed, and a queen sleeper sofa. It features an updated kitchen with granite countertops and stainless steel appliances. There is a private patio with partial slope views in the distance. Ideally located in River Run Village so you’re just steps away from shopping, restaurants and local festivities. Plus, you're a very short walk from the high-speed gondola. Expedition Station offers shared amenities including a pool and a hot tub.

The entryway offers mounted hooks and a bench for your convenience while coming and going throughout the day. The living area features a flat screen TV above a beautiful gas fireplace and a cozy sectional. There is a queen-sized sleeper bed. Additional sheets and blankets are in a closet. Just off the living area is the private patio. Take in the fresh mountain air and enjoy the partial slope views in the distance.

The full-sized kitchen is stocked with all the essential cookware and tableware to make a meal away from home and features granite countertops and stainless steel appliances. The breakfast bar comfortably seats four. The first of two full bathrooms is located just off of the living area and has a pedestal sink and a shower/tub combination. Both bathrooms are stocked with towels and an initial supply of toiletries.

The primary bedroom features a king-sized bed with Ivory White Bedding and a flat screen TV. The en suite bathroom has double sinks, a shower/tub combination and a door separates the toilet area for added privacy. The guest bedroom features a queen-sized bed with Ivory White Bedding and a flat screen TV.

*Please note the Expedition Station HOA will begin charging $8 a day for parking starting November 1st, 2025*

**Ivory White Bedding** This property has been upgraded with ivory white bedding. The ivory white bedding is modeled after high-end hotels and resorts. This bedding showcases a soft, white-striped duvet cover with a medium thick, high quality down alternative duvet. Featuring an uncompromising and industry leading standard of cleanliness, the duvet covers are laundered after each and every guest stay.

The directions were clear for arrival and departure. The condo is nice with a 5-10 minute walk to the village and a little farther to the slope. The village is charming with good coffee shops, dining and other things to do

20th Anniversary Getaway!

It was clean, the decor was exactly as pictured! It was quiet all the time, allowing us to stay up late and sleep in! We kept the windows open and even vehicle sounds were minimal! It was nice to be on the balcony and be shaded by trees! It was nice to be able to walk for 2 minutes and be right at the all the shops. We will absolutely return! It was the perfect location to celebrate our 20th anniversary!

Just to let future people know, we did not find luggage carts when we first got there. We took many trips in with all our stuff, then later in the weekend we happened to see them in the stairwell door. Thankfully our packing back out was much smoother. :) Just in case this helps anyone, but that is not fault of condo owner-the place was great.

The good and the bad

The stay was great. The furnishings could be updated or repaired but ok. The recliner kept disconnecting from the couch and two chairs were broken. The help desk seemed irritated every time we called to just request sheets towels etc. I also reported the broken DVD player and the couch and obviously irritated the same help desk employee with my concerns.

Great Location and Nice Condo

Off-site check-in was not very good. I arrived in a shuttle and did not have a car. I was told I was too early when the shuttle nicely stopped to pick up the key. No offer to help or how to get back. The management office personnel were not helpful at all. My family had to wait around for a couple of hours (no big deal) and I had to take the bus to pick up the key. Once inside, the condo had great beds and was overall very comfortable. The location was an easy walk to the River Run gondola. There were some small issues in the room which I notified the host of - nothing major.

Very nice condo. The parking garage was crowded and small compared to others in the same area. The walk to the courtyard was a bit longer than other condos in the area but not bad. I really enjoyed my stay here. The actual unit was marvelous.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My son had a major injury and broke both of his ankles. I had to find a place that would be wheelchair accessible for 2 weeks. This place was perfect for everything we needed. The shower area by thr pool made it easy for his to get his wheelchair in. The room was completely easy to get in and out of with his chair. My only issue was the one 2 separate occasions workers made me feel uncomfortable. First was when towels and sheets were delivered to our room.. the sid a quick knock but just came right in. I was in three bathroom and was scared when I came out and they were already in the room without waiting for a response. The 2nd time was one the day of my son's surgery I got home late around 9 and found the door cracked open.. not latched or locked. I was by myself since my son stayed in the hospital that night and I was scared and uncomfortable the rest of the night. It was from a working coming in earlier that day..which I knew they would be coming in and out for some HOA maintenance but they did not make sure the door was securely closed.That experience wasn't the best but the rest of the stay was perfect for my emergency situation.

Nice, but issues.

Overall, property was a nice stay, but kitchen utensils in the unit were minimal- No pizza cutter, no measuring spoons, and the oven door does not fully close. We would have to lean against the oven door each time we baked something. Also the thermostat did not work for the furnace- the furnace continued to heat the unit even though we shut it off. We had to open windows to cool the condo down. Parking garage is very tight- there is no turn around at back, so vehicles have to reverse around a tight corner if no parking spots are available.

Customer Service Has Gone Downhill

We've used this company for years and the level of customer service has declined significantly. Once again, 3 days before our stay that was booked months before, we find out that a major amenity-the hot tub-won't be available. Was told they'd look into some refund, but haven't heard anything from them and don't expect to.No hot tub availability, no similar unit offered. No discount on pricing due to not having this amenity, just blame it on the HOA. This exact thing has occurred often enough on our stays with this company that my wife even joked 'well, do you think the hot tub will be working'? before our stay.TV remotes with dead batteries in two of the three rooms. Had to go buy some.Fireplace not working upon arrival. Called at 6pm and was told it would be the next day before someone could respond.What, exactly, is the $30.00 'Inspection Fee' for?Prior stay at another building had the hot tub and grill not working. I was aware of the hot tub, the grill never got fixed in 6 nights. Called repeatedly and was told I'd need to contact building management. Pretty sorry excuse for customer service to tell the customer that they need to arrange having a working grill.On that stay they actually called me at 10:30am to ask if I'd be interested in an early check-in. I was nearby so I said yes, I'm absolutely interested in that. Told me they'd call when the unit was ready. So I waited for the call. Called back around 1pm to ask if it was ready and was told they'd need to check with the housekeeper. No call back. Called again around 2:30pm and was told 'yeah, it's been ready for awhile now.' Go to their office at 3:15 to check in and the person has the nerve to want to charge me $15 for early check in at that point. In summary, THEY reached out to me on an early check in and 5 hours later I've still never heard back from them, on a Tuesday,

We stayed mid-week which meant that the resort was very quiet, but that is exactly what we had hoped for. Easy check-in, communication via text, etc. We had no problems or issues during our trip.
