Perfect Northwoods Getaway
This was our second year staying at the property, and once again we were completely impressed with the condition of the home. It may be new, but you can tell great care and pride are involved at keeping the house exceptionally clean. Debbie and Al are excellent at communicating, and make themselves available for any issues if one may arise. We were up for snowmobiling in the area, and there is direct lake access and the trail is literally down the road. There is also ample parking for trucks and trailers. Top notch property owners and a perfect home to make memories. We will be back next year!

This property is a pure gem. Essentially brand new, very clean, and well equipped. Located right on the snowmobile trail system and a few minutes from town made it very convenient to get anywhere that we needed to. I would highly recommend this property to anyone.

Gorgeous house. Great for winter and summer holidays.
Overall we are very satisfied with this house and communication with owner Debbie. Beautiful house located close to snowmobile’s trails and lake. We would like to come back to this place on summer as well.
Recommendation to the owner: please add bath towels, garbage bags and dishwasher tablets.

Currently, we only have May 31 - June 5 open for a summer stay. You may want to book soon if you want to secure those dates. Otherwise, I'll let you know if we receive a cancellation for some reason.
Thank you for your recommendations for the property. We appreciate them. We do supply a few dishwasher tabs and garbage bags as "starter supplies" for our renters as communicated in an email we send out a week before their stay. Unfortunately, we are unable to provide bath towels for our renters as our housekeeping crew does not provide that service. Maybe in the future this would be something we can provide.

This is an awesome home with a great view of Lake
We stayed here with a group of fishermen. Had a great time ice-fishing and snowmobiling right from Whitetail Ridge shoreline. This home is warm and accommodating of a large group. Will stay here again in the future!

The ST. GERMAIN HIKE AND BIKE TRAIL is a 52-mile trail that begins in St. Germain and takes you all the way to Mercer. It is one of the most beautiful paved trail systems in the Midwest. Whether you’re an experienced rider looking for a challenge or a beginner, this trail is sure to please.
St. Germain is well known for its fine network of snowmobile trails. The ever famous BO-BOEN SNOWMOBILE TRAIL is a well marked trail system with breathtaking scenery. You can access the trail right at the end of our driveway.
VILAS COUNTY’S ATV/UTV ROUTE SYSTEM – Current routes developed by area ATV clubs connect the communities of Eagle River, Conover, Phelps, Land O’ Lakes, St. Germain and Arbor Vitae. Riders will find great riding as they cover a variety of terrain, from paved roads to dirt routes on former fire roads.
The ST. GERMAIN GOLF CLUB is an 18-hole course owned and operated by the Town of St. Germain. This beautiful course will challenge skilled golfers and provide social players with an enjoyable experience. If you’re wanting to play a simpler and faster round of golf, you’ll want to check out the 19th HOLE (a par three course) or the WILDERNESS MINIATURE GOLF COURSE across the street. There are multiple other golf courses within 10 miles.
