Another amazing stay at Tara Cabin! Anyone fortunate to have experienced this slice of heaven knows exactly what I mean when I say it was magical! The only sad part was leaving! Such a blessing to have found this place a year ago.... it will definitely be a yearly trip! This stay we also rented the Buddha hut for my son and his girlfriend and they had a wonderful time - it's a perfect little space for additional short term guests and so reasonably priced. Thank you so much for all the memories.... we can't wait to return!!
Everything was exactly perfect. From the moment we pulled in front of the cabin. So clean and well stocked with supplies. We will recommend and return.
First,…the VRBO presentation write up is completely accurate. Considering that we are outdoor-oriented, the location in the woods is even better than expected.Second, the write up did not include how well equipped the kitchen is…spices and cooking utensils, better knives than we have at home, and not to mention coffee and tea galore.Last, there is a problem…after four days we did not want to leave.
We absolutely enjoyed our stay! The cabin was amazing & the creek & views were beautiful. We can’t wait to come back again! A hidden gem & a perfect weekend escape.
Cute cabin with privacy! Nice location with wild turkeys to watch. Cabin had everything we needed, except a microwave and a tv. The tv was in a closet, which needed to be set up. Definitely, a cabin for tree huggers. With that being said, we had a wonderful time.
This was an amazing place to stay! Beautiful views, fun things to do if you want to stay in and close to town, if you want to go out. I’d definitely go back there again.
Entire place was great, even in the August heat of 80 degrees, it was so nice to spend time down by the creek, a quick jump in and out of the water was plenty. We thought we'd go into town for meals, but ended up cooking and staying in–eating lunch at the creek and dinner up on the deck. Can't wait to visit again!
We spent a long weekend here for our 15 year wedding anniversary and it was such a great property. Off the beaten path with plenty of privacy but still a short drive to town for a nice dinner.
This was a great place to relax, and get away from it all. We loved the secluded property and private creek access. We spent our anniversary here and it was perfect. Alas our trip was too short.
I think having the hot tub operate at a higher temperature would have been nice. The kitchen did not have a microwave or air fryer, so it was difficult to reheat food.
The trip to this cabin was definitely magical and peaceful. It was a must needed time in the quiet. I am so grateful for the thoughtfulness that is put into this space.
Everything as advertised. Very tranquil, quiet private environment in the woods on the bank of the creek. Perfect getaway.
