Bienvenido a nuestra casa de campo recién reformada de 1920. Ubicado en el amistoso Hamlet de Palenville. Esta casa está totalmente amueblada y se encuentra entre Saugerties, Woodstock, Catskill y Hunter mountain. Ofrecemos un rey y un dormitorio de matrimonio, una cocina completamente equipada y para su relajación le ofrecemos un jacuzzi. Nuestra área ofrece una gran cantidad de actividades recreativas o simplemente sentarse y disfrutar de las hermosas vistas y los sonidos de la naturaleza. Estamos a poca distancia a pie de los hoyos de la zona, así como de los restaurantes y del campo de golf Rip Van Winkle. Un corto trayecto en coche desde la salida de Saugerties o Catskill Thruway. Hay un pozo de fuego para esas noches frescas, para sentarse y recapitular su día. Hay rutas de senderismo cerca y el parque Catskill está justo al lado. This property was perfect for our needs. Close to where our kids and grandkids were staying as well as many opportunities for exploring the area. The kitchen was well stocked and the beds were quite comfortable. I will make this place a favorite.

It is the cutest place. The house had everything we were looking for and more. The host is so sweet. We were visiting relatives in the area and the house was centrally located to them and hiking. We will be planning another trip in the next few months. We hope we can rent this house again!

Weekend Vacation

We had a completely relaxing vacation weekend. The house and location were beautiful. We loved soaking in the hot tub under the stars! We would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway.

You Can’t Ask For More!

We had no doubt…this is the most fully equipped, clean, organized and blissful rental ever. You like to cook at home? Anita has what you need here. Read? Tons of local volumes. Play a game. You’re covered. Hike? Plenty of suggestions and places. BBQ. Hot tub right on the back deck, feet from the door? Yup. TV with all the apps…seating you’ll love getting comfy on…wine and cheese on the front porch? A welcome message just for you awaits. Thank you Anita SO much.

Great Stay for a Sisters-Only Weekend!!

My sister and I met up at this amazing property to enjoy a sisters-only weekend. We went to Menla Resort and spent a day at their Dewa Spa, which is about 45 minutes from the property. We spent the rest of the weekend enjoying the area and relaxing in the hot tub! The house is immaculate. It is the cleanest home rental I've ever experienced, and I rent homes fairly often. The house is beautifully decorated. It has all the comforts of home. Everything is top notch! The beds are super comfortable with the Sleep Number feature. The living room furniture was so comfortable. The linens are good quality. The deck is amazing to just sit and relax on. The hot tub was clean and so comfortable. We had an issue and Anita got back to me immediately and it was resolved. The location is great. We went to Saugerties one night which was about a 12-minute drive, and then to Woodstock the next day, and that was about a 15-minute drive. So many restaurants and shops to enjoy in both towns! We hope to stay at this property again in the future. Thank you again, Anita and Steven. We had a wonderful weekend at your beautiful home!

Very nice home!

This property was very nice; it really did feel like a home away from home....very clean, all the things there you needed, and Anita responded whenever we needed her. We visited several spots nearby and enjoyed our weekend!

Local Weekend Wedding

Perfect Property for a weekend stay. Home was beautifully decorated. We were might with Fresh Flowers and even some extra amenities due to the weather. Hot Tub was a nice touch after a long day. Would without question book again the next time we are in the area.

Perfect location near Hunter Mountain

The house was super clean and well equipped with everything we needed. The host was lovely (left us fresh flowers and chocolates!) and communicated with us throughout our stay.

Cozy Catskills getaway

We had a perfect long weekend getaway in the Catskills. Super close to ski at Hunter mountain and the cottage was cozy and had everything we needed. The beds were super comfortable and sleeping was a dream! Highly recommend to all!

Great cottage

Wow! Wonderful, comfortable, super clean, well decorated home. Once outside you can hear the local running stream. So peaceful. Eat at restaurant Red Onion, great food but reservation needed. Must visit and experience Olana and Opus 40. Opus 40 particularly beautiful and inspiring, America’s Stonehenge. Their guided tours at both locations are totally worth it. Only small complaint is there is no cable TV at the cottage. Couldn’t watch baseball playoffs but I lived!

Such a perfect little place to getaway

The home was lovely, tucked away at the base of the mountains. So nice for a couple or small family and there’s lots to do nearby. Anita was very responsive and the home had such sweet personal touches. Loved the hot tub and fire pit in the back!

This easy access rental was everything expected by title. Hot tub is private, all amenities new. Good food and Saturday night live music at restaurant around corner and quick access to hiking /skiing trails and Woodstock make it “a find” for couples.

Marvelous!

The property is marvelous! Clean, beautifully appointed, comfortable, and accessible. The manager/owner was super responsive and helpful. I just wish we were there for longer to fully appreciate the amenities. Ok… I loved it! Don’t miss out on this one if your looking to stay in the area.

We love this house!

This was our second stay at “our little house in Palenville” as we have fondly named it. My husband, daughter and I needed a place to stay on our way to our camping trip, just for one night. Anita was gracious and flexible and allowed us to rent for the night last minute. We were so thankful and so loved being here again. We cooked dinner and then because the rain stopped we were able to hang out in the hot tub! Then just relax in the house. The beds are so comfortable. Everything we needed was there to make our overnight stay like our second home. We highly recommend this lovely craftsman cottage and will be back again and again!

Exceptional craftsman house!

My husband and I took our 21 year old daughter up to the Catskills for the holiday weekend to this gem of a house. When we drove up we were so thrilled with what we found. The pictures on the site don’t begin to reveal the find that this house is! It is clean, in a private. homey neighborhood. Each morning I ventured out walking. There is a stream that runs near the house you can hear from the fire pit. The house is immaculate, well decorated and keeping with the period of the house it’s charming. The hot tub was such an incredible addition. We loved it. The owner was incredibly responsive to all my advance questions and they welcomed us with a gift of chocolates and a sweet message. I couldn’t have asked for better. The house had everything in terms of amenities that we needed! The beds were comfy and we slept so well. Can’t wait to come again!

Cozy, clean, private place! Loved our stay!

Perfect little getaway Palenville Nov 23-24 of 2019 The owners are great with responding to any questions. We were welcomed upon arrival and given a quick tour with some helpful information for nearby atteactions. The pictures don't do this place enough justice. We planned this trip to explore new places and almost didn't Leave, because THE COZY CRAFTSMAN PLACE. Is so clean sn cozy. I would definitely come back again. Aracely and Guest
