It was a blessing meeting Linda, the cabin was clean and well furnished. Had a very homey feeling. A bit dated but a fantastic place to rest and refresh. We will be back.
Thank you. I am glad you liked our place. Please let me know if you ever want to come back. Linda

Disappointing
Cabin advertised is to sleep 14. We had exactly 14 people and we were packed in there like sardines. I will check the square footage next time. The living area could only accommodate about 4 people tops. Forget hanging out together. Carpet is original and shows it. The dirty/dusty carpet in the downstairs bedrooms made it miserable to sleep. I have allergies and asthma and couldn’t sleep past 2-4am. Walls/ceiling aren’t insulated so you can hear every time someone roles over in the bed anywhere in the cabin. Bathroom window faces the road and has just a curtain up. I had to place a bath towel over the window to add some privacy. No window coverings on any of the windows for that matter except curtains. No privacy shades/blinds in bedrooms either. Anyone outside at night has full view of what you’re doing. Maybe that was the goal, not sure. Amenities are at very bare minimum, not even a bar of soap. You shouldn’t have to ask for it. Very few wash cloths. If you plan to cook expect to get creative in having enough pots/utensils. Coffee maker leaks. Seems like the cabin got all the cast off appliances and furniture no longer wanted. Decor and bedding is from the 90s. The cabin also needs more safety lights outside. To me this is a safety hazard. There is only one oddly misplace light on the porch. Property overlooks an RV trailer park with outdoor toilets. Overall I was very disappointed and actually embarrassed booking this for my family. I felt like I failed them.

I am sorry you did not enjoy the cabin. There were beds for 14 guests. As for the living area being small, you could have seen from the photos what the cabin looked like before coming. We have clean cabins. No, we do not have blinds, but the curtains are heavy enough to not be able to see through. You did cross the line though when you suggest that we are "peeping toms" or some kind of perverts. I do find that very offensive. I can assure you that as long as our cabins are taken care we do not care what our guests are doing and have no desire to seeing them dress or undress. The road behind the bathroom is up above the cabin and people driving down the road could not see into the bathroom. Most homes do not have insulation in the walls so if that is an issue for you, you might want to contact places where you are planning to stay and check that out. We do have guest soap bars in the bathrooms. There are more than enough washcloths for all guests to have enough and if you had needed more we furnish a washer and dryer as well as detergent. Our large soup pot was missing when you arrived, but when you asked for one, we brought one to you. We did not know the coffee maker leaked. No one else had mentioned that to us. As for old appliances and furniture, the furniture was replaced last fall and appliances as they are needed. There is a porch light on the porch and most guests find that sufficient. I am sorry you did not like the trailer park below our cabins. That is not our park and therefore we cannot do anything about it. As for being embarrassed about renting the cabin and feeling like you failed your family, please tell them that you cannot get the Hilton for $37.31 a person for a weekend. That was the price per person total. We only received $23.40 per person for the weekend.
Great Location to Enjoy the Outdoors & Loved the Fireplace
The cabin had all of the amenities we needed for an excellent weekend stay. It's very close to Bryson City and the Great Smoky Mountains, and served us well for day trips to ride the train, take short hikes to see waterfalls, and enjoy the outdoors. The fall leaves were beautiful and the large deck was the perfect location to watch the sun rise and set. The evenings were cool so the fireplace was a great place to warm up after at the end of the day. We had a great time . Thanks.
The cabin was nice but both bathrooms had very distinct odors of urine when we got there. To support 11 people, it was lacking cooking utensils as well as eating utensils. The location was very convenient to Bryson City and surrounding areas.

Paul, I ask you to let us know if you should have any problems with the cabin when you checked in. If you had told us about your concerns about the bathrooms, lack of pans, and dishes, we would have done what ever we could to satisfy your concerns then so you would have had a better time here. There is enough dishes and silverware for 14 guests in that cabin and we thought that was enough. Our cleaners use Clorox to clean the baths but if you had wanted it cleaned again, we would have done that to so you would know it was clean. I am sorry the cabin was not what you wanted and wish you had told us when you arrived.
The house has very nice view with mountains. We had trouble getting internet the first night. But the manager tried to fix it and we got it next morning. Recommend to bring your own bedding because the bedding are not that clean. Our family really love the location and the view.

LiLi as our sheets are washed the cleaners and pressed, I don't know how you could get cleaner sheets.
Our family enjoyed our stay very much. The owners were friendly and quite helpful. We had an issue with the gas grill and they replaced it with a brand new one. I would definitely rent it again.
needed interior update , a little muskie smell . i think from being shut up . after windows and door was open it was ok. need a fire pit closer to house , Mom couldn't walk that far. Any other problems was taken care of very quick. we had a great time , would defenetly go back.
This cabin is in a charming valley in line with several other cabins under the same ownership. The owners are very sweet and the cabins were in good condition. This would be a great location for a big group/family to stay. There is a nice long porch to enjoy the scenery. We hosted a potluck dinner here. We used the grill and kitchen with no issues. Parking was also not a problem.
