This oceanfront home is one of the best on the Oregon Coast. Steps to the famous Seaside Promenade yet has the privacy one wants. Step directly onto the Oregon Coast from your deck.

The 1st. floor has large oceanfront living room, Kitchen and eating Nook, large Family room with Dining area, Oceanfront master bedroom with king bed and private bath, 2nd bedroom has a queen bed, 3rd bedroom has 2 sets of bunks. 2nd full bath off the hall.

The basement level has another space that has a Queen bed and another small windowless room with a twin bed. 1 full bath. I refer to this area as the teen area

with lower ceilings. Very comfortable newer beds. Great area for the kids to get away from the parents and make lots of noise.

You will enjoy having a BBQ while watching the sunset. This home is furnished with every possible luxury that a person might want while enjoying their vacation on the Oregon Coast.

Comfortable home and spectacular views

Our family has been to Seaside many times, but this was the first time to stay in this house. The views are incredible and the location was perfect for us. We enjoyed the 12-minute stroll along the Promenade into Seaside, especially since the weather was absolutely gorgeous. The home was very comfortable, and as there were only five of us, we didn't need to use the downstairs. However, it looked very cozy and would be perfect for teenagers or a small family. The two large living areas made it easy to spread out. If the weather had been rainy, we would have loved to use the fireplace - but instead, we had windows open and enjoyed the sounds of the surf! The kitchen was nicely fitted out. The only small drawback was the master bath, which is very small, with the sink out in the bedroom area. I would recommend a bath mat in the shower (very slippery) and a new shower curtain (stained), but those minor details didn't detract from the overall wonderful experience. We hope to stay here again!

Great venue for a family get together.

This home was a great fit for our large family to gather. There are three large living areas so that the family is able to stretch out in privacy. The view from the home is tremendous and is a constant source of entertainment. The location allowed us to walk down the prom and into downtown Seaside. We found the home owner to be prompt and available to our requests. We would strongly consider coming back to this home.

Perfect Location Supreme Disappointment- Buyer Beware Looks are Deceiving

My intention with this review is to give other renters the information that is omitted from the description and pictures included in this listing. My family of 9 stayed for 2 nights for my in-laws 50th wedding anniversary. My in-laws had the fortune of using the upstairs for their stay and were not disappointed. The furnishings are what were shown in the upstairs pictures minus the exception of the tolls time has taken- they are extremely worn, tattered, and stained (carpet, chairs, couches, etc). Had the entire house been like the upstairs, the rental would have been only a mild disappointment, but the condition of the lower floor made the rental completely unacceptable. It is not revealed in the pictures that the last two beds pictured are in a walk out basement with 6 FT ceilings that is UNDER CONSTRUCTION!

To clarify, there are walls that are only sheet rocked, there is exposed concrete foundation with no floor coverings with beach grass and other items coming through from the outside. There appears to be some sort of expansion with new windows on the lower lever that were during our stay, covered with a thin plastic tablecloth tapped to the exposed window frame. The musky smell of the basement was very off putting, as was the inoperable TV downstairs, the lack of wifi reception on the entire lower level, and that the second to last bedroom pictured is actually a windowless room and a frameless bed sitting directly on the floor. It is our opinion the the "bedrooms" advertised that are actually on the lower level should be clarified as being in a basement environment, and additionally that one bed area had no privacy since it is in a walk-through area off of the garage.

Given the current condition of the rental, it is our opinion that not only should the construction environment be included in the rental description, but that the rental is appropriate for 4 adults max due to the only suitable true bedrooms being on the upper level.

I feel like I've been deceived and taken advantage of in the case of this rental. My husband sent an email to the owner on the first night requesting a reply with a more inclusive detail of the issues that what I summarized here --and we to date have received no response.

One last note, they are definitely serious about the checkout time, there was dark Lexus waiting outside the property prior to 11am, apparently waiting for us to leave- there is a fee listed in the house per 1/2 hr for late checkout.

Owner's Response: After receiving your review, I immediately drove down to inspect our home as I was very concerned that something was not being done as it should. I strive to make sure all our guest are satisfied with their stay in our home. I do appreciate all reviews. We are glad that most of our reviews show that our guest was happy with their choice of this home for their vacation. We were in the process of bringing more natural light into the lower level. This work had not been completed when you arrived. We did make sure it was safe and clean , covering the exposed area under remodel. I am sorry you were not happy with your stay. I am always available by cell 503-329-7673. I had all new pictures and video taken and uploaded to show our home in its current condition. I am happy to say all work has been completed and we have now made the lower level to the same level of comfort as the main level.

Family Vacation

Home is in a wonderful location. Walk out the door and within minutes we were on the beach. Short walk to town. Great bedrooms. Loved the two separate living areas where we could all hang out together or do our own thing. The view out the front of the house was so beautiful. Plenty of room for 5 adults and 2 little ones and 2 pups. Our family had a great time.

Annual Ladies Weekend at the Beach

This is our 5th year renting this house, and we always love it. The house is large enough for 10 ladies to not feel "on top of" each other, and the three bathrooms are great. The kitchen is spacious and well stocked, allowing us to cook fabulous meals at home. The location is prime- right at the end of the prom with expansive beach views. I would highly recommend this property.
