Beautiful Palmetto Dunes 3 BR Villa, Overlooks Golf Course and Walk To Beach

Welcome!! Come relax and unwind in the desirable gated community of Palmetto Dunes, on beautiful Hilton Head Island. This villa is a two story end unit, and is situated in a quiet secluded area. It is very clean and has been recently updated throughout. It offers 3 bedrooms, 3.5 bathrooms, and a new kitchen with stainless steel appliances.

The first floor offers a great room, a large master suite, a separate half bath off of the living room and a laundry room. The living room has a large television with a closet full of games, books and movies for evenings or down time. It is comfortable and bright with large window and sliding glass doors leading to a private patio overlooking the Robert Trent Jones Oceanfront Golf Course. The patio is equipped with an outdoor grill and additional eating area. Off of the living room is a new fully equipped kitchen with a breakfast bar and dining area. The master suite has a king size bed, television and sliding glass doors leading to another patio overlooking the golf course.

On the second floor are two additional bedrooms and a study area. One bedroom has a queen sized bed and the other has two double beds and a pull out couch for additional sleeping space. Each bedroom has it's own full size bathroom, television, as well as it's own private deck overlooking the golf course. The landing has a study area for a quiet space to read or the kids to play games.

The villa is just steps to the private Water Oaks swimming pool and a five minute walk to access miles of beautiful white sandy beaches, the 11 mile lagoon where you can enjoy fishing or explore via a canoe or kayak. It is also centrally located and provides access to miles of bike paths, 25 tennis courts and 3 golf courses. The free Dunes Buggy will shuttle you to a number of areas including Shelter Cove where you will find shops, restaurants and entertainment during the summer months.

The upstairs king mattress made a horrible noise, The downstairs bedroom lost air but Michelle got it fixed pretty quick. We had 6 adults and the living room only could seat 5. The place was well supplied with all we needed. We had 3 guest passes given to us by the owner at Mooring Bouy so we should not needed to purchase another pass for 35 each. I explained this to Kristine but she didn't know what to do. You only need 1 pass to go thru the North gate.

I'm glad you found the villa well supplied and that our local contact, Michelle, was able to resolve the air conditioning issue quickly during your stay. We always strive to address any maintenance concerns as promptly as possible, so they have as little impact as possible on our guests' vacation. I'm sorry to hear the upstairs king bed was not as expected. The box spring has already been ordered and will be replaced. Regarding the seating, the villa is accurately represented in both the description and photos, including the living room furnishings. We continually update our listing, so guests know exactly what to expect before booking. I would also like to provide clarification regarding Palmetto Dunes guest passes, as this information may be helpful to future guests. The resort, not individual property owners, establishes and enforces its gate pass policies. While I arranged the additional guest passes you requested before your arrival, unfortunately; there are applicable resort fees associated with those passes. Because you have family within Palmetto Dunes, I suggested checking with them, as owners we are able to obtain passes for visitors free of charge. I wanted to help you avoid unnecessary charges while also ensuring you complied with the resort's parking and access requirements. Future renters should note that a single gate pass is not sufficient for visiting other neighborhoods within Palmetto Dunes, as separate guest passes are required by the resort for those areas. My goal was to provide the correct information and help prevent any inconvenience or citations during your stay. Thank you again for your feedback. After hosting guests for many years and receiving over 100 five-star reviews, I remain committed to providing a clean, accurately represented home along with responsive communication and service for every guest who stays with us.

After years of family vacations at many different locations, our family always agrees that our favorite place to vacation is Hilton Head Island. After our last visit in the summer of 2019 we decided to purchase our own home for our family vacations as well as list it for others to enjoy. We love the laid back environment, and the vast amount of things to do that fit each our family members likes. We decided Palmetto Dunes, Water Oaks because of how safe, beautiful and well kept the resort is.

Why they chose this property

This property is perfect with easy access and has no unit above. It is newly remodeled throughout the majority of the villa, and has newer furnishings. It is beautifully decorated and is very clean.

What makes this property unique

This property offers a beautifully landscaped secluded outdoor patio, grilling and eating area. It is in a quiet area however in the perfect spot for the adventure seeker, beach goer, golfer and close to a multitude of dining and shops.
