Wonderful ending to our stay in Maui. Quiet and relaxing...thank you! A lovely yard to wander in, and plenty of opportunities to visit the adjoining spa for a special treatment!
Mahalo for a great Upcountry stay at Ho’omana!
We are so happy we rented here because the cottage is so cute and rustic. It was cozy and convenient for us to feel right at home. Check in and out was seamless and we enjoyed having the natural surroundings. The location was key for us. We had a true Maui experience of Road to Hana, Haleakalā National Park, Casanova Restaurant and a lunch at Mama’s to name a few. The proximity to all these gems made our trip so memorable. If we hadn’t been Iin the upcountry these gems would have been a far distance. Mahalo for a great stay. We will be back someday.
Lovely getaway upcountry
It was wonderful. I will stay here again. Being upcountry is quiet. Sure it is far from a beach but it's only a short drive.
The stars are beautiful. Theres hardly light pollution. The temp is less than the beach so we never needed a.c. it is roomy. The beds are GREAT. The wifi strength is great.
There is a tv bit we never bothered with it. There is free washer dryer to use. It comes stocked with towels and beach chairs. They supply juices, granola bars coffee etc.
It's also a spa and massage school, while I didn't attend the spa or school on this trip, I have attended the massage classes 8 years ago and the spa a few years before as well.
I highly recommend it. The spa. The massage program and the cottage. Either of them. The makena cottage or the lehua cottage. I will return!
We loved our stay at your B&B in Makawao. It was very relaxing and private and we loved the little town nearby as well as all of the activities we could do with the B&B as a home base. Lovely, lovely!
Fantastic upcountry retreat
This is a super special cottage on an amazing piece of land upcountry. It’s simple but perfect for a solo trip or a couples getaway. There’s nothing like staying on the slope of Haleakala.
Located Close to Makawao Forest Reserve, Pi'iholo Ranch and Pi'iholo Zipline.
