  • Piece of Paradise

"We wanted to thank the owners for allowing staying in their well equipped condo. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything you could ever need. Just bring the food. It was a seamless check-in and parking right out front. This condo was the closest complex to the ocean with the best views. The condo was very clean and we felt like it was our home away from home. We enjoy BBQ on the roof deck while watching the sunset, and swimming in the very large pool next to the ocean. We couldn’t wait to wake up in the morning to enjoy our breakfast on the balcony and watch the whales in the distance. The sound of the ocean from the master bedroom was just amazing. We truly enjoyed just watching the sunset from our balcony every night before dinner. This condo is perfectly located. We were not too far away from all the activities we had planned from Snorkeling in Molokini, Zip lining at PiI’iholo Ranch, swimming with the turtles at Mekena Beach, enjoying all the art galleries, shops and restaurants in Lahaina, the very memorable road to Hana, watching the surfer’s at the North Shore to the most incredible experience would be watching the sunrise at the summit of Haleakala. A special thank you to the owners, you were very attentive and so kind to check if we needed anything thought our stay. Thank you for sharing your piece of paradise with us. • Loved and highly recommend this condo

"This is a beautiful condo with everything you could possibly need for your stay in Maui. There's practically every spice you would need to prepare delicious meals during your stay. Probably left behind by previous guests because I left some behind as well. If I have any complaint, it would be that we were told there was an orientation on the grounds on the morning following our arrival. So I passed up one through my travel agency at a different location, only to discover when I attempted to attend the next morning that the orientation at Maui Banyan Condos has been discontinued. Now back to the good stuff. The grounds are very well kept. We used the grills out by the pool, and I could not believe how sparkling clean they were. The owner of the condo was very responsive from my very first inquiry to communications after the trip regarding the refund of the deposit. There was one small issue regarding a requested shower bench that was not there when we arrived. However, I sent the owner an email and by the time we returned from our outing that same day, the bench had been placed in the bathroom. He was also very helpful in providing lots of advice on excursions and dining as this was my family's first trip to Maui. Thank you, On King and Kristina Lau."

  • Highly Recommend!

"This is our second time staying at the Sprecks Plantation House and we will definitely be back. We have stayed in both the Plumeria and Mango units. The units are beautifully decorated and have everything you need including very comfortable beds. The kitchens are well appointed and provide all the pots/pans and utensils you need to cook in (including a gas BBQ). The whole complex is meticulously cared for..inside and out. We had the misfortune of getting a flat tire while we were here. Glen, the owner, happened to be on the property and just jumped in and changed our tire without being asked. What a great guy! A few bonuses: laundry; miscellaneous beach items for your use (umbrellas; chairs; toys; snorkelling gear); bicycles (it is a very short ride to Baby Beach through the neighbourhood or Kanaha Beach along a bike path) Some people worry about airplane noise when considering Specklesville. We are light sleepers and sleep with the doors and windows open. Yes, you hear the airplanes...but we did not find them that disruptive. The minor inconvenience of hearing the occasional airplane is far outweighed by the rest of the experience. (Note - you can cut down on the noise if you open only the south facing doors and windows)"

  • The view is all you care about

"In the end the view is all that matters! Direct full 180 blow out view. Moloka'i is right there in your face. Direct walk out to the water. Water is so close you get splashed sitting out there! Steps to a swim able beach. Double sliders open the whole back wall. Covered parking. You can walk to Maui Brewing (thanks whoever left the growler!), Miso Phat Sushi for dinner and many others. The bed was pretty good too. The shower was just ok and some of the stuff is a bit old but that is typical for right on the water. In the end though with the view you just plain do not care. Super easy check in with a lockbox. We ended up staying how for every sunset - great west view for it. For the price it is a steal."
