This Palmetto Dunes Villa, 310 Windsor Place, is the perfect place for a family get together, reunion, golf retreat or an "any time you need to getaway" place! It is located on the third floor, with beautiful views of the ocean from the over-sized balcony and the interior. When entering this newly updated villa, to the right is the kitchen and straight ahead is the dining area and open living area which is the perfect open floor plan for relaxing and entertaining. The kitchen features beautiful custom cabinetry, granite counters, stainless steel appliances and a breakfast bar for additional seating. The living room offers guests plenty of space for lounging and gazing out onto the beautiful beach and pool. The main living area features a 50" SMART TV with DVD player and opens to a sprawling balcony that contains a dining set for 6, and lounge chairs for serious relaxation.

From the front entry, a hallway on the left leads to one of the King guest bedrooms with 32" SMART TV and off of the living area are the other 3 bedrooms, including the master and the laundry room. The master bedroom suite has a 47" SMART TV and its own private access out to the balcony, along with an updated beautiful private bathroom, complete with 2 shower heads; one a ceiling "rain forest" style and the other a traditional wall-mounted shower head. The third guest bedroom features a King bed with private balcony access, 40" Roku TV and private bathroom with walk-in shower. The final guest room has two twin beds, 32" Roku TV and private bathroom.

Guests will enjoy relaxing in one of the sitting areas or gathering around the dining table at dinner time or to play board games. Your family will enjoy being steps from the beach and pool in this villa. There is immediate access to bike trails, bike and kayak rentals and all the amenities Palmetto Dunes has to offer.

The Windsor Place complex is located oceanfront in the famous Palmetto Dunes Plantation. It has two large oceanfront pools (heated seasonally) and hot tub as well as a large sundeck, poolside restrooms, showers and covered pavilion with gas grilling area. One pool is great for children with a graduated entry and mushroom shaped waterfall (opposite end of pool is 4` 6"). Windsor also has elevator access and covered parking garage. This complex has privately owned villas located oceanfront with great views of the ocean, pool or lagoon from any floor.

Tons of space and ocean views

Spent spring break in HHI for the first time and had a blast. Unit is huge with 4 BR and 4 bath. Worked well for our family of teenagers. Ocean views were great especially at sunrise, and listening to the waves from bed was even better. We golfed, played pickleball and enjoyed the pool and hot tub. 5 star, would recommend.

Awesome Ocean view

Our family had a wonderful time staying at this condo for Thanksgiving week. The kitchen was well stocked with all essentials needed to make thanksgiving dinner. The property manager was very responsive to some minor issues with the TV/ wi-fi. Overall, it was a relaxing and enjoyable week at the beach. We loved drinking our coffee on the balcony every morning looking at the ocean.

We didn't want to leave

The stay was amazing. The condo was very clean. The view in the morning was breathtaking. The path to the beach was about a minute walk. I would recommend this property anytime. My only con was that the first room on the left when you walk in was very hot. They had a fan in the room but it did not help once yoi closed the bedroom door. We did not have any of the windows opened. The peson in that room just ended up sleeping with the door open.

Potential for greatness but overall average

Our stay was enjoyable because our family tends to make the most out of every vacation no matter what works and what doesn’t. We had two issues right off the bat that needed to be fixed. First was the garbage disposal. It was leaking upon our arrival. Seeing a bowl placed underneath it, made us think someone previously knew about this. I don’t hold the property directly responsible but it would have been nice if whomever discovered this would have notified the proper people. A new disposal was installed on Sunday. The second issue was a toilet in one of the bathrooms. It didn’t flush properly. We needed to call the property managers twice as they said it was fixed the first time but wasn’t. Even after the second try it was average at best. That brings me to our overall feel of the rental property. With the lack if inventory, we were limited in our choices of rentals, hence we paid more then we felt this property was worth. The interior is dated with things like the ceiling fans making noise and a coffee pot burner being rusted was disappointing. The kitchen was partially equipped as we still needed a few items to make our cooking experience easier. The dryer hose might need to be cleaned out as clothes took longer then expected to dry. Little things like this were somewhat annoying. The proximity to the beach and the overall building is very nice. We have stayed at a few places in Palmetto Dunes so we typically enjoy the area. Of the three condos we have stayed in through the years, this was our least favorite. Again, perhaps if the price were cheaper, we wouldn’t feel this way. We just assumed everything was going to be perfect because of paying at the higher end for a four bedrooms property. The view was terrific and the bed was very comfortable. One last concern. Not that our goal was to watch TV but when were were looking to unwind after long, hot day, seating for 8 was a challenge and the TV was smaller then we would have hoped.
