Perfect family vacation!

We had a fantastic time at Tudi's place last week. The property was clean, had everything we needed and was so comfortable for my children, husband and I. The location can't be beat for access to the bayside beaches. We absolutely hope to return again!

Lovely girls weekend!

My friends and I had a lovely stay at Wash Ashore! Our host was great and went above and beyond for us (even leaving us a little present, which was so sweet!). Clean house, as advertised, in a great central area! Would definitely stay again!

Comfortable!

Wash Ashore was clean and comfortable. There was plenty of room for the 4, and sometimes 6 of us. Tudi is super responsive, friendly, and helpful. The location is convenient to area beaches, and the farm at the end of the road is a nice place to walk around!

We very much enjoyed our stay at "Wash Ashore". Tudi was very responsive to any questions we had and a pleasure to deal with. The house / furnishings are up-to-date and good quality. The ACs in the bedrooms are a definite plus in the Summer. The location right off of 6A is perfect for accessing anywhere you need to go on the Cape, but the neighborhood is quiet and great for walking (including to the farm down the street).

Quiet and peaceful stay!

Great communication from the start. Check-in was very easy and the location is great! Close to Mayflower Beach (perfect for families and younglings). The house is very well equipped and comfortable: there’s dedicated AC in every bedroom and common spaces. Only «issue »: the water heater was turned off so we had to flick the switch on but it was solved in 3 minutes 😊. Thanks and to Tudi for the recommendations and great availability. I very highly recommend Wash Ashore!

Perfect in every way!

We really enjoyed our stay at Wash Ashore. The location is convenient to most everything. It's great to have Bray Farm sunsets, Oliver's Restaurant and Peterson's Market a short walk away. The neighborhood is quiet with lovely homes. The furnishings are comfortable and attractive. Tudi gives you a well-stocked kitchen so you can grill, clam/lobster boil or go gourmet. We brought our bikes and kayaks and made good use of them. For the couple of questions we had, Tudi responded quickly and helpfully. We would definitely rent this house again. Thanks Tudi!

Great family vacation

We enjoyed our vacation at Wash Ashore! The house was stocked with kitchen amenities, beach gear, and fun indoor and outdoor games to play as a family. We stayed during a very hot and humid week and the A/C kept us comfortable the whole time. Would definitely recommend for a family vacation on the cape!

Wonderful time

What a great house. My wife and our 3 young children had a great time. Perfect Cape location very close to Dennis beaches. Tudi was a pleasure to work with and provided so much useful detail. The home is spacious, clean and has all you need, perfect for a family vacation. We highly recommend.

Great spot, would highly recommend.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. convenient spot for us, and walking distance to Walgreens and other stores. split AC units made the house very comfortable. TV use was a challenge as we didn't have a compatible account to log in. We found that bringing all our own linens, towels, paper goods was a manageable inconvenience. Tudy was a terrific host, very pleasant and accommodating.

Wash Ashores was Perfect

We rented Wash Ashores for a family gathering on the Cape. We were a little hesitant to travel during the pandemic, but the house listed many standards for protection including contactless check-in. The process was very smooth and this was one of the cleanest houses we've ever rented. The AC units kept the house comfortable for relaxing after a day baking on the beach. Which by the way, is only about 2 miles away. The outdoor shower was perfect to rinse off that sand and the backyard was private and quiet for lounging. The owner Tudi, gave us her cell number to contact her easily in case of issues. The ONLY minor complaint we had were a few ants. Tudi had arranged an exterminator visit before we even had a chance to reach out. Beyond all this, she is one of the most friendly, kind people I've ever met. She supplied plenty of suggestions of places not to miss and the sweetest welcome note. I can't wait to go back. Wash Ashores was the perfect beach house and we highly recommend renting with Tudi!!!

Happy to be Washed Ashore

We just had 2 lovely weeks at Wash Ashore. Given that eating out was greatly reduced, the comfortable and well appointed kitchen was a great amenity. During this Covid Era we really appreciated the chance to be on the Cape and do a lot of outdoor activities. We found folks to be really conscientious about wearing masks in any indoor or close settings (Peterson's Market and Fish Store for example, or entering and exiting beaches) and keeping their distance while walking, biking and swimming. We especially enjoyed a lot of time hanging out on the porch in the mornings when it was nice and shady and taking advantage of the nearby rail trails for bike riding. Swimming at Princess Beach and grabbing a shady spot to spread our beach towels was a delight. Be forewarned - the one place in 2 weeks where we saw much less masking in close confines was on the boardwalk to the bayside beach in Sandwich.

Amazing vacation, beautiful house.

We enjoyed staying at Ms. Tudi’s Wash Ashore house. She provided more than we expected. The kitchen was fully equipped and she has a nice outdoor grill. She provided beach chairs and coolers which was s nice surprise since we flew to Cape Cod. The market was walk distance and the restaurant across from there Oliver’s was very good and reasonably priced..We went to the Chaplin Beach which was naturally beautiful but little cold. While in Cape Cod I recommend you should visit Provincetown, I loved this little town, and Falmouth had a great gulf where boats are parked.. great historical places to visit while in Cape and Ms. Tudi’s house makes your visit special..Everything was perfect and the neighborhood was great for morning walks We had amazing time as family. We will definitely return.

Wonderful summer oasis

The house is very pretty and well set up for as a vacation home. It’s great that there are three bedrooms, we can actually have friends come to visit. Location is great, very close to Mayflower Beach and Peterson’s market. There are many beach accessories for a family to use which is a plus. We’ve been renting for three years and are very happy with Wash Ashores😊

Home away

Returning to Wash Ashores was like coming home. This house is so comfortable- everything you will need has been provided. The location is hard to beat especially for boardwalk sunsets, CC Bay beaches, access to Dennis bike routes, and quick trips to the store. Highly recommend.

Good location and well-equipped home!

The home had everything we needed. It's on a quiet street only a short walk from Bray's Farm, and an even shorter walk to a local market. Highly recommend Smuggler's ice cream shop and Mayflower Beach, locally. Also easy to drive over to the ocean side. Mattresses were on the thin side (Ikea?), and the living room could have used screens in the windows, but it cooled off in general with the windows from the rest of the house open. The outdoor shower was not usable, hinges too rusted to open! But there was a hose outside to rise off sandy feet. Overall, an easy spot, well-cared for home, and most important - we had an awesome vacation!

The perfect cottage for our family of four adults and two children

This was our second year staying at Wash Ashores. It is the perfect cottage for our family of four adults and two children. The girls stayed in the twin bedroom, and the adults stayed in the two queen bedrooms. The cottage is well stocked in terms of cooking utensils, etc. It is very close to Peterson's Market, a Rite Aide drugstore and Oliver's Restaurant. We loved the outside shower after a day at the beach. We plan on returning in 2017.

Wash Ashores!!

Wash ashores in a a great location if you are not looking for hustle and bustle outside your door. The house is super comfortable. Our young adult son traveled with us and he actually had his "own space" upstairs which he was very happy with. I'm just not sure he would have been comfortable in the twin size beds because they appeared more like youth size beds We did not get use of the back yard or grill because we were always out and about but if you are traveling with young children the back yard is ample enough to spend a compete evening outside . You can easily visit Hyannis , Dennis , Yarmouth within 15 min. The steamship authority to Nantucket is an excellent ferry ride to the island. 2 hours of relaxation is the way to go!! Petersons market and Ring Bros were the 2 places we visited the most for food and drinks because they were so easily accessible . This was our first experience renting a house and I have to say it was a wonderful experience and I will definitely recommend to my friends and family!!! Tudi is a pleasure to talk to but we missed each other during our visit. Don't hesitate to call her with any questions !

A terrific rental just right for our family.

Wash Ashore was perfect four our family of 4 adults and two young granddaughters. The house was clean, airy and well laid out. The kitchen was well stocked, and the location near Peterson's Market, Oliver's Restaurant and route 6A was very convenient, We can't wait for our return visit in 2016

Great Vacation Home!!!

The home was 'as advertised' on the website and prior reviews. The location on the Cape is great for getting around. Very centrally located. For our family the proximity to Mayflower Beach was ideal. The home itself is very clean and spacious for our family of 4. The owner, Tudi, was great to work with and very attentive. There was one small issue with the dryer that was corrected the day after the issue was found. Pretty good service as that could have been an issue had it not been taken care of so quickly. The home had all the things necessary to make it feel like a home away from home.

As an adult, I wanted to be able to extend a beautiful, clean, affordable house to families in search of a place to have their own summer vacation become a part of the fabric of their family's life. Family time together, away from the stress of daily grind routines that can, if we're not careful, drag the joy out of the most important thing we have in this life--family, is the most valuable gift we can give ourselves. I hope that my house, Wash Ashore, becomes a place where your family can reconnect and build years of happy moments that layer your lives with joy and fond memories.

This location is ideal because it is close to everything, yet part of a sleepy Cape village that allows for just going at your own pace. Situated just north of Rte. 6A it abuts the beautiful bay and tidal flats that keep your senses aware that the ocean is only a few minutes away. It allows you to feel part of a community but at the same time, like a visitor who gets to see everything for the first time. A desirable location, you're close to sandy beaches, restaurants, shopping, Edward Gorey house, ferries, homemade ice-cream, mini-golf, whale watches, charter boat fishing, ferries to Nantucket, antique shoppes, The Cape Cod Playhouse, clam shacks, Cape Cod Braided Rug Company, art studios, glass blowing, whatever you wish. You can be energetic or laid back--your choice. A good choice to have on your vacation!
Plus, grocery shopping is just a 10 minute walk away, a luxury on Cape Cod!

The minute you enter the front door, you will get a sense of peacefulness. The solid wood beams in the living room, the open concept of the floor plan, the wide open space of the huge back yard--all give your family a sense of being together but not on top of each other! It's a huge breath of 'Phew! We're on vacation! Let's relax and enjoy every inch of this time!'
