Escape The Commotion - Relax By The Ocean

Come spend your vacation with us this summer. See all the Cape has to offer! We have everything you need to relax and renew with friends and family. We are centrally located on Cape Cod, in West Yarmouth, 27 minutes from the Sagamore Bridge, and 11 minutes from exit 8 on route 6. Our home is within a mile of the famous Seagull Beach which is Yarmouth's largest and most popular beach according to Cape Cod Times 2015. Reason's for this are the space, calm waters, and clean soft sand. We are also under a mile from Eaglewood Beach.

After spending a day at the beach get the sand off your feet with our outdoor shower and enjoy our large private backyard. We have a patio set, classic Cape Cod Adirondack chairs, and yard games. When it's time for dinner use our kitchen, which comes with all the utensils needed to create wonderful meals, or cook on the propane gas grill. Keep the night chill off with our fire pit. If you would rather have someone else do the cooking, choose from the large variety of restaurants along 28 or go into Hyannis Main Street area which is just a 9 minute drive. Still want more to do? Enjoy mini-golf and ice cream at many of the renowned creamery's very close to the house, or catch a movie at the Regal Cinema Theater at the Cape Cod Mall.

If you would prefer catching a movie at home the living room has a 40'' LED SMART TV which has a DVD player and a small library of movies, or bring your favorites from home. After a long day, enjoy a comfortable night's sleep in one of four bedrooms, all of which have either built in's, closets, or dressers. If you sleep in the upstairs bedrooms, when you wake up enjoy morning coffee on the deck just steps from the bed, or stay in bed where the morning sun cascades through the slider and french doors. Get ready for another great day on the Cape!

Awesome house

This house was prefect for our stay! It is clean and in an incredibly convenient area for beaches and attractions. I almost don’t want to say how awesome it is because we don’t want it to book up for our next trip! They had a nice sized backyard for activities and a fire pit, plenty of parking and a new grill.

The house was perfect for 6 of us. Very clean. The kitchen was fully stocked unlike most places that say it is. Each room had its own window AC which was great for everyone. The walk to the beach wasn't that bad it took us about 15-20 minutes. This was our first time on Cape Cod and we will definitely be coming back.

The house is in a great location, quiet neighborhood and close to Seagull beach. Older, with quirks in line with the style of the home, but well maintained for guests. Have stayed in many similar rentals over the years and this is one of the best for the size/price. Responsive owner who made the rental process easy from start to finish.

We were 3 families with 2 kids along. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The place is clean and nicely maintained and the owner is so prompt in responding and very accommodating. The beach is at a walkable distance (20 mins) and its beautiful walk in the mornings! I would recommend this property!

Great location and beautiful backyard

Very responsive host, clean and nicely maintained house, 2 large bedrooms upstairs and 2 smaller bedrooms downstairs. The location is perfect, 10 min walk to the beach. Backyard is the best feature - big enough for the kids to play soccer or volleyball. We spent several nights by the firepit making smores.

Fabulous Family visit

The house is lovely: updated kitchen and bathrooms. The yard is wonderful for little kids and for adults - safe space for little ones to play. We walked to the lovely beach. Landlord very helpful and personable. We hope to return next year!!!

Once again, we totally enjoyed our family vacation in the Cape. We always enjoy the watersports, fresh seafoods, antiquing, sightseeing and the people. The house that we rented really completed our vacation. In the past, we have rented nice houses in the Cape, but I have to say this is one of the better rentals for us. We felt so comfortable in this spacious, warm and inviting house. The owner was so pleasant, kind and helpful, he really made us feel so welcomed. We will absolutely stay here again.

Family Vacation

We had two families of 4 rent this home and there was plenty of space. The house is close enough to Seagull beach to either ride a bike or take a 10+ minute walk.The kids liked being close to mini-golf and t-shirt shops along Route 28. HoYin was so helpful and very responsive to the unexpected power outage we experienced during our stay. We love West Yarmouth and this property is clean and comfortable!

Nice cottage walking distance to the beach

We stayed at this property for a full week in July - myself, wife and 2 kids. Property is as described, clean and spacious for a family of four. Walking distance (~15 mins) to Seagull Beach which the kids enjoyed, we walked to the beach everyday. The only issue (and it is a minor one) is that WiFi is a bit slow. Property is ideally situated for exploring Cape Cod and the islands (Martha's Vineyard and Nantucket).

Why they chose this property

This property is close to everything! Located in the middle of Cape Cod, close to Seagull Beach and Eaglewood Beach, as well as route 28, and Hyannis downtown. The home is on large private lot, almost an acre. The home is very comfortable and spacious, and comes with everything you need for a great vacation!

What makes this property unique

When I purchased the home over the summer I was attracted to the uniqueness of the home with the built in's and nooks and crannies. I also very much like the wood paneling which reminded me of a ship. The lot size of almost an acre is not the typical for this location!
