Welcome to Greeley Station! This centrally located, recently remodeled home, has been converted into a three-unit complex of vacation rentals with completely private residences and a shared backyard. The basement apartment is 2 bed/1 bath and features all new modern furnishings, plush beds, and a stylish interior. The communal backyard includes an outdoor fire pit, BBQ grill with picnic area, string lights and shade trees. This basement apartment is in a great central location and includes complimentary cruiser bikes so that you can easily explore Historic Downtown, UNC and the surrounding area. During your stay, you’ll love that you can grab coffee or lunch at Margie’s Java Joint, bike to the Farmers Market, and visit some of the amazing local breweries. Then spark up the grill for a delicious home-cooked meal and sink into bed after a long day of exploring the area. This unique setting provides three vacation rentals in one quaint location near UNC. So, grab your friends and family to reserve all three spaces or choose one and meet new friends during your travels!

OUTDOOR LIVING: Communal backyard with a BBQ grill, fire pit, outdoor dining area and string lights; complimentary cruiser bikes are also available!

INDOOR LIVING: Smart TV with free Netflix, dining table with seating for 4, and board games

KITCHEN: Fully-equipped kitchen with microwave, breakfast bar, cooking basics, dishware/flatware, spices, complimentary coffee, creamer, tea and sweetener. There is no dishwasher.

BATHROOMS: Full bath with combination tub/shower. We also include hair dryers, soap, shampoo and conditioner for every guest stay

GENERAL: Free WiFi, linens/towels, keyless entry, complimentary toiletries, iron/board and cleaning essentials.

PET POLICY: Dogs Welcome...We love dogs! However... all pets must be pre-approved (no aggressive breeds) and a pet fee will be due at booking. Unapproved pets and excessive barking or aggression are grounds for removal of pets from the property or eviction of tenants.

NOTE: You will have private access and your own entrance to the lower-level of the home. There is also a main-level apartment that has its own separate entrance and a Carriage House at the back of the property. All three residences are short term vacation rentals that can be rented together or separately.

Cozy Stay in Greeley

Had a great stay during our time in Greeley! Had plenty of space for myself my husband and our two fur babies! Close to a great coffee shop (Margie’s Java Joint) and breweries (Weldwerks and Wiley Roots)! Nice neighborhood to walk around!

Two visits from a furnace repairman plus at least one prior to our arrival and one after we departed after one of our three week reservation. Repairman indicated there was clogged tubing by the thermal exhaust outflow. That with one broken window and another propped open during freezing nighttime temps AND several other issues ended our stay!!! A refund should have been issued - it was not!

Overall it was excellent. Very clean. Lots of space (even considering that it's a basement). We were very comfortable. Only small issue we had was a musty smell, which wasn't bad and didn't reduce our satisfaction with the place.

Noisy from upstairs “apartment”

The first night it was hard to get to sleep as the upstairs guests were up stomping around until 1 am then up by 7 am slamming doors. Also the next door neighbor has a pair of very loud pitbulls outside barking.

Buyer Be Aware

Read all of the reviews! I failed to investigate thoroughly before booking including location and I would encourage you to inquire who might be staying in the other units. This is indeed basement unit, narrow steep-ish stairs going into the unit which ultimately solidified my decision to not stay. There is no need to go into greater details but I did not feel safe staying in the unit, reached out to the hosts representative and shared with her my concerns, anxiety, and my decision to not stay in the basement unit. No concessions made, simply "I am sorry, I have talked to the guests about our policies". This is no way made me feel any safer going into the basement unit with only one way out and now knowing the host had contacted the current guests above about my concern for the smell of marijuana.

Disappointed. We came down for nieces wedding and stayed for 2 days. Will not let me load the pictures.Positive:1. Linens were clean.2. Check in was easy.Negative:1. Agree with other reviews, the location did not feel safe. High Police presence for neighborhood concerns.2. Upstairs tenant loud until 1am. Ear plugs available but personally cannot use.3. Stairs steep and dangerous. I Twisted my ankle on the last step walking into the apartment the first time as there is a hole at the bottom. Avoided after that but stairs really won’t work for some people and the left top railing is loose. 4. The stairwell smelled like dog feces and the bugs were insane. See pics.5. Large bugs in the apartment in the middle of the night buzzing.6. Too small for 6 people comfortably. Son and his wife had to go to a hotel.7. It was dirty. The shower had stuff along the bottom, bathroom woodwork had stuff splashed down it, and I dropped my chapstick and it rolled under the bed…wow is all I can say. They really need to vacuum.Overall, if cleaned up and reworking of the stair situation then it could be a cute little place.

Tiny Basement Bungalow

1. Cleanliess: lights switches had dirty finger prints and the vents were dirty. 2. Lower Level = Basement. Basement = No sunlight. 3. Not enough towels and no place to hang the towels to dry. 4. No dish rack for washed dishes, perhaps this is why the ones on the shelf were still wet when we arrived. 5. Entrance to bathroom required a large step, be careful! 6. Description lists having bikes, hammocks and basketball hoop. None were available.. 7. Could it be possible that the basement rental have access to the laundry room on the upper level, since the laundry room has its own locked door? 8. Max occupancy should be 4!

Good for Just a Weekend

Overall, our stay was okay, but we will be seeking out a different property next time we are in town for two weeks. The stairs to enter the property are very steep and there were constantly flies, cicadas, and bees swarming (or laying dead at) the bottom of the stairwell. Getting in and out of the apartment was a constant hassle and a bit dangerous when the steps were wet. The kitchen suited our needs except the oven/stove really needs to be replaced. The bikes were convenient to use, but the garage door was challenging to open and close especially in the afternoon when the door handles and lock would be blistering hot from the sun. The A/C is only controlled by the unit above so we went without it for the first couple days while the unit above us was vacant. However, the unit owner did send someone to turn on the A/C and mop our floors as they were covered in dirt when we arrived. Overall, this is a good place to stay for a night or two, but not for much longer than that.

Fabulous Place and Location
