We had a lovely stay on Catherine St. for a wedding weekend and the accomodations were excellent. The room was cozy, the bed was very comfortable, and the fireplace and kitchenette were added bonuses. The breakfast was also delicous and enought to fuel us for lots of walking and touring. It was so convenient to be able to park in the inn's lot right in front of the house. We will definitely be back!

We booked an overnight at Admiral Sim’s last minute as we wanted a beach getaway for 2 days. We couldn’t be happier about our stay. It was just what we were looking for! It is close to beaches; we had a very nice and spacious room, clean, quiet and the inn keepers were very nice!!! We will definitely book again!

Will definitely stay here again!

Spent a long weekend here and will definitely do so again. Great location! Just under a mile into town so we walked the whole weekend. Super close to the cliff walk. Really spacious room, easy check in process (an early check in was accommodated which was greatly appreciated), the baked goods/coffee/fruit in the morning were really nice. Couldn’t recommend this place enough.

Perfect 4th of July

From the moment that we booked our room until we checked check out, it was flawless. Every attention to detail made our stay so comfortable. We love the location. We could walk to the cliff walk to downtown come to the beach. We will return.

Newport getaway

This house is in a perfect location to walk to everything you want to enjoy in Newport. We parked our car when we arrived and didn't need it again the whole stay. The rooms are very comfortable and have everything you need to relax and they even serve homemade baked goods for breakfast. This is the second time I have stayed at Admiral Syms house and will definitely be back.

Great Place to Stay in Newport!

We had a great stay here! Owners were very nice and easy to communicate with. The house is about a 20-25 minute walk to the busy part of Newport so we walked it most of the time but did need the occasional Uber. Rooms were spacious and clean. Bathroom was very nice. Definitely recommend staying here if you are visiting the area.

We've been B&B owners since 2000 and just love Newport and these old Victorian houses. Catherine St is a great location and we just finished renovating the rooms to create fresh, clean King studio's with Kitchenette and Fireplace for Newport visitors - long and short term.
