Love the property, more age appropriate for me. Enjoyed the room, except the ac unit quite blowing cold air. Other than that I enjoyed my stay.

Great Stay

A little disappointed we didn't have any options for early check in, but we were able to still park and get out to the beach/pool. Loved the live music on Sunday. Not impressed with the River City Cafe food, but the overall stay was great. The bed closest to the door very noisy. But it was very clean inside. I would have rather seen the charge for resort fee somewhere obvious when booking, so beware of that.

Clean and convenient

The property was very clean and well equipped. It was updated with sand friendly tile and laminate, no carpet. Nicely decorated with neutral colors. The Ocean Sands club is in a great part of the beach, and with a great indoor pool for kids, and Ocean Annies for adults.

Ocean Sands Club.

I was lucky that I stopped by early to key lockbox and am employee told me the code for later. I was never provided it as explained with the booking. No water one morning, broken elevator the next day. I am not in the room that much, so it was all good.

Room was sour day one,bathroom shower has mildew in it. Mattress was awful and worn out. Sink cabinet fell off on my foot..i wouldn't stay there again unless they updateed the room and i receive a discount

Nice room, good location

Location was great but the check in process was horrible. Once we got to the Vacasa office, different location to get the keys, we didn’t have the code to get in the box to get them. We were on the phone two different times when finally a van pulled up and I asked if he worked there and he said yes, but didn’t offer assistance until I told him we were having issues. You are also supposed to have arm bands to be able to use the pools, which we did not but we were never questioned and still used the amenities because they are advertised.

The property was not as it looked online. Very small. Not clean or organized. No cable for my children at night.. total of 10 channels of basic antenna cable. The beds felt like they were 10 plus years old. When I tried to contact property management or host I was sent an automated message without resolving our issues. love sands ocean club resort but i definitely will not book through this host again.

Nice place but horrible check in/out oricess

Property is nice, a little dated but very clean and exactly as listed. Check in process is horrible. You have to go to an offsite property 20 minutes away to pick up your key. The office location was not given to me so I had to reach out to get the address. No one was on duty at the office and there is a lock box with your key. Your keys and information packet is in the same lockbox as every other renter and you have sort through everyone’s packets to find yours. No checkout information was given so you just have to wing it. You have to return your key to the office you picked them up at by 11am so you again have to drive 20 minutes out of the way to drop off the keys. This really was frustrating because you’re very limited on what you can do the morning of checkout because you have a 40 minute round trip before 11 am. The property was nice but I won’t be renting a property managed by Vacasa again. They also do not use the VRBO app and push all their information through their own website which is also frustrating.

Worst experience with Rental

Zero communication with rental company. Key wasn’t ready at time of check in. Arrived to room to find dirty comforter, dirty shower with two used bars of soap and pubic hair. Contacted rental company via text and was told it would be handled but never heard or saw anyone. Requested more towels, toilet paper and paper towels and never heard back. Beds were so loud and you could hear every movement made on them. Also, wifi was worthless and had to go to local coffee shop to work. With all that being said we will definitely be returning to Ocean Annie’s Resort bc the resort staff was simply amazing!

It was nice being by the ocean.

It was just OK. The best part was being by the ocean. Didn't like the excessive bird poop on the balcony. The beds squeaked and weren't comfortable. The parking wasn't good for us because we had to park in a parking garage, but not the closest one because it was full. Had to get the keys in another location and it was very hard to read the numbers on the lockbox at night. I own a short-term rental and I felt this one could be managed better.

So Disappointed

Unit 1522 - I would put cero stars if I could. Starting from the kitchen, DIRTY! dishes were with old food! Cabinets and drawers as well. The bedroom night lamps never worked, pillows were with yellow stains, clothes drawers dusty, old mattresses ready for be replaced,You can hear how old and rusty were the wires. Finally, the AC throws an stinky air. Advice: Don’t stay here, invest in something better.

Sisters get away

My sisters and I met at Myrtle Beach for a get away and this room was perfect! It was very very clean and the beds were extremely comfortable. The view front the balcony was breathtaking and we saw the sunrise and sunset from our balcony every day. The restaurant and bar downstairs were a bonus. The food was extremely good! The pool was clean. Live bands every day. Beach access only some feet away. I can’t say enough good things about the condo and the location 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Best view of sunrise

It was a little cozy place compared to what I imagined a condo would be like. It was more like a hotel room. The best part was the view so it all worked out. Sunrise was beautiful right from the balcony. The view all day is amazing!! Love hearing ocean waves. Would have liked more instructions on parking and some basic stuff you get in a hotel like coffee, cream and sugar would be also a nice touch !

Overall unit was nice and clean. It has a Smokey smell at first maybe it was the cleaning crew?

Once we opened balcony door the smoke smell was gone.
