Lovely 3 bedroom raised beachfront camp with in-ground pool in front yard. Terrific front porch facing the beach and pool for relaxing. Large yard for family fun. Kitchen is equipped with most things you'll need to cook a meal. Sleeps 6 adults comfortably (7 with kids) - 2 queen beds, 2 twins, 2 full baths, washer & dryer. Sunrise is beautiful from the front porch, and sunset from the pool area or beach is a perfect end to the day!

The home provided many supplies and nice towels and it was very clean upon arrival. We appreciated using the wagon and chairs when we went to the beach. We enjoyed several movies provided. However, the grass in the yard was long, the pool water was cloudy and there were algae circles along the steps and bottom of the pool. This was a disappointment as we did rent this home with the pool in mind. The air conditioner did not cool well during the day. The owner did send AC techs but it did not help much. Our stay was during very hot days but an AC unit should be able to maintain set temperatures. The dishwasher was broken and a contractor was unable to make it before our arrival. The owner did tell me about this and apologized for that inconvenience.

we did have fun. Great location. nice pool but many things I believe need attention then it would deserve the rating it has which I think is too high.1) roaches. I killed 5. 2 types. small bugs popped out next to kitchen window 2)dishwasher. ran same load 4 cycles. no pressure. is that why there's a film on the glassware and dishwasher? gross3) washer dryer. daughter washed small load. took 3 dryer cycles to dry. you mentioned them being old but listing them as usable amenities is questionable. also questions your housekeeper being able to wash bed linens and towels between guest stays. gross again4) only 3 bath towels? really?5) master bedroom fan can't adjust speed. switch broken inside fan. I sleep w ceiling fans and this wasn't comfortable 6) light wouldn't turn on in living room7) all bed sheets scratchy and loud8) sofa/loveseat. if you have any back or leg issues you are in trouble. old old old9) flooring coming apart10) baseboards/door frames etc. dirty film. needs a good wipe down11) water in kitchen is hooked up improperly. you have hot water on the right side and cold water on the left. easy way where a kid could get scalded badlyI'm not trying to rip the place apart but many small and not so small issues. Never re addressed the dishwasher situation. when I have to spend cpl hours hand washing everything on my vacation when a usableOne is said to be there

Perfect spot!

This was our second time staying here and it doesn't get better than this spot!! The pool is amazing, but you're also right across the street from the beach where it can be a really quiet and less visited area of the beach. You are also just an 8-10 minute drive from any of the restaurants in Bay St. Louis as well as a 9 minute drive to walmart. The hosts are amazing and its just a great retreat. Can't wait to comeback!

Quiet Beach Escape For The Whole Family

This is a beautiful home in a relaxing beachfront location. The property is clean and was perfect for our entire family from 9 months old to 65. We enjoyed being in a quiet area of the beach, but also within easy driving distance to have day trips around Gulfport and New Orleans. We met the neighbors on both sides and they were all lovely and welcoming, especially with our chatty toddler. The beach felt like private access as you rarely saw others except in the far distance. The host was fantastic and very timely in responding to messages. Very easy check-in and check-out processes.

Best stay!

We had a fantastic stay at this rental home during Taylor Swift weekend in NOLA! The house was spotless and in a perfect location, just across the street from the beach. The beach itself was clean and calm, making it an ideal spot to relax. Our host was phenomenal—very accommodating and helpful throughout our stay. The locals were friendly, adding to the welcoming atmosphere. We truly enjoyed our trip and can’t wait to come back! Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a great getaway!

Excellent Home!

This home was perfect for us. My best friend and I wanted a beach getaway and this hit the spot. The house is immaculate and comfortable. The front porch overlooking the ocean has a dining table and we spent a good amount of time there. The beach is a short walk and we were mostly by ourselves. There are numerous restaurants within 10 minutes. The host was very responsive and provided all the necessary information. We would stay here again. I highly recommend it.

Peace and sunshine in a tall glass!

It's attributed that Walt Witman said "Keep your face always toward the sunshine, and shadows will fall behind you." Well, let me tell you, that wouldn't do justice to staying in this beautiful place. It was that and so much more! Even when it rained we were able to sit on the front porch and eat every meal, it was like the rain was part of my Spotify playlist. The house sits back away from the street, with the salt water pool in the front lawn guiding your view towards the gulf. We never made it to the beach, because that pool was all we needed, spacious, clean, and no chlorine smell! Mornings were magical, mid days were magical, and I'll let you guess what the evenings were. At night it's plenty dark and quiet. You can see the stars with little to no light pollution, yet in just a short drive you could be at a restaurant, a bar, or the grocery, ice cream shop, store, etc. If you are the more stay in away from the sun type, there is plenty of shade and seating in the covered front porch. If you are more of the I need AC type, inside there's a closet full of games and plenty of time passers to share with family or friends, a nice smart tv and plenty of seating for movie night. The house is welcoming all on its own, but not more than Caytee. If I said she was a breath of fresh air to communicate with, it would be so on par with her place full of fresh air, sunshine and comfort. We can't wait to go back. Oh wait! No! is it too late too keep it a secret from al'o y'all?

Location and home is perfect!! Home had everything you could need and was clean! The beach was perfect at times we was the only ones there. Owner was very friendly and responded very quickly to my messages. We will definitely be back!

Labor Day Weekend 2024 - 2nd Time Staying!

This is the perfect property for a family that loves the beach and the pool. The covered lower level is great for rainy days or to get out of the sun and play games, eat, etc. The pool is great and easy beach access is a huge bonus. Communication is great with the host. I cannot recommend this property enough. We’ll be back again.

Cozy beach stay

We loved our stay!!! It was nice and quiet not a crazy tourist town. Everything was a short drive from groceries to food. New Orleans is a hour away. The beach felt like our own private oasis The kids loved the pool. Only downside is if you're stuck indoors the main tv wouldn't allow me to sign into anything other than Netflix and Amazon prime But it isn't like we stayed indoors much

Great Family Vaca

We had a great time at Caytees place! It was a perfect fit for our family, the pool really hit the spot and my granddaughter cant stop talking about it all the way back to MO! The property was clean, well furnished and the kitchen was awesome for cooking for the fam. The neighbors were so helpful and sweet, offering tips for coffee/eating and it was a pleasure to visit with them. The location was perfect for our visit with other family that lived in the area. The beach so close and not busy was awesome for relaxing/walks/crabbing. The porch was perfect for family sitting & sunrises as well! We were so happy & thankful to find this place and not be stuck in a hotel! We have already told others about this little gem and will definitely book again when we return! Thank you Caytee!

3rd times the charm!

This was my 3rd time staying here, first two with friends this time with family. We had a fantastic time once again! Great communication with the owner. Had everything we needed. Kids loved the beach right across the street and then the pool on the front yard. Went to Crab Festival a few miles down the road Saturday. Already trying to plane trip number 4! Definitely will be back.
