Perfect condo

This well appointed and beautiful condo was perfect for our family vacation - pictures and description are accurate but really don't do it justice as the reality is even better! Carlos, the manager, and his onsite staff of Gustavo and Darwin were friendly, efficient and helpful. Snorkeling right off our beach was good and on the reef trip Carlos booked for us even better. As always, our old (Pelicanos, El Merkadito, Café D' Amancía) and new (Clandestyno) favorite restaurants did not disappoint! The only negatives were the very rutted and dusty road leading to the condo and the bit of difficulty we had finding it initially due to the lack of road signs. Also, while the beach is good for walking, you cannot walk the beach into down due to the shipping pier restrictions.

We spent 6 nights during Thanksgiving week with our kids, ages 6 and 11, and had an amazing stay! The condo is just as advertised (you can hear the waves from the bedrooms!) and Puerto Morelos is such a beautiful place. From the moment we booked, Mercedes (the property manager) was so helpful! She helped us arrange our transfer to/from the airport, stock the fridge for our arrival, and checked in on us during our visit to make sure we were comfortable! She truly goes above and beyond! Thank you! I highly recommend renting the golf cart. It is an easy walk into town but so worth it. We hope we get to visit again soon. Thank you for sharing your home away from home with us!

This condo is super modern, so well appointed, and immaculately cleaned it's beyond belief! Mercedes is so kind, helpful, responsive, and professional. This first floor condo is literally just feet from the pool and the wonderful uncrowded beach. Our second time here and won't be the last.

Glorious

One of the most stunning places I’ve ever stayed. Listen to the crashing of the waves as you fall asleep. Literally step outside your room to the beach (or the infinity pool. Whichever floats your boat). Room is actually still quite private, even with the curtains open. Completely private with them shut. Short walk to the vibrant little town. Could’ve stayed here for ages.

Amazing stay!

This condo is fantastic! Incredible location just steps from the ocean - we laid in bed each morning and watched the sunrise. Photos in posting are exactly what you get. Beautiful location, well equipped condo with everything you need. Mercedes was extremely helpful with all of our questions, and helped point us in the right direction for our Covid PCR testing (which was done right down the street from the grocery store, very easy process). We rented the golf cart from Neville and used it to tool around town throughout our 9 day stay - so fun :) Puerto Morelos is an amazing place - we totally love it! Will be back next year,

We hang at the pool all day.... everyday! The people at the other units always become fast friends and this year was no exception! The town, food and atmosphere is top notch! Best Italian food I’ve had.... in Mexico! Go figure!

Unforgettable Vacation!

The memories we created at Puerto Morelos are indescribable. We spent most of our days poolside or relaxing on the beautiful veranda overlooking the beach. The views from the condo are absolutely stunning. In town, there is a Super Chedraui which is a brand new supermarket that has all of your vacation needs. They even have a Beer & Wine Section inside the store which we frequented and brought back to the condo. We also made it a goal to check out as much of the local cuisine as possible, and we definitely accomplished a lot by the end of the week. Every appetizer or meal we had was fantastic, it's hard to pick a favorite spot. Though, we loved the atmosphere, the tasty and extensive list of beverages, and the awesome food from Punta Corcho. The convenience of having the supermarket, delicious restaurants, all within a short distance from the condo was amazing. We also felt extremely safe at the condo (gated community) and traveling to and from the town. Gustovo & Mercedes were also there to make sure our stay was carefree and comfortable. We can't recommend this condo enough. It's a slice of paradise that will leave you wanting to book your next trip before you have even left. Look no further than Palma Real 101, book it today, you won't regret it.

Amazing beachfront condo

This property is as advertised. My wife and I were looking for a quiet location to read and relax. From the pick up arrangements by Mercedes and Mercedes taking us to town and showing us around everything was perfect. Great pool. Kayaks. Close to water. 1/2 mile to walk to a quaint town. Safe. The only part of location I would mention is condo is right next to a working port. In 5 days only one freighter showed up but loading and loading took all day and into evening. This port is also part of the view of the water but we learned to love it. Would highly recommend this property

This condo is one of our best experiences in Puerto Morelos we have ever had. We love the whole complex but this unit is by far our favorite. Mercedes is wonderful and checked on us frequently...Gustavo works so hard around the complex. Had to come back to reality (and -28 degrees and 15cm of new snow)...but would love to start planning my next trip back. This condo was the perfect vacation!!!

Great place!

The apartment was very nice and comfortable. Having the sea just out of the window was like a dream! The pool was nice and taken care of. There was a gate and a guard 24 hours a day, so it felt very safe. There is a port close by but it wasn't really noisy. Seaweeds were a problem for a couple of days, but they were trying to take care of the beach. If you like to wake up and be right on a beach that's the place for you!

Great condo, great location, great manager

My husband, my sister, and I, had the pleasure of staying at Palma Real 101 for eleven days. There was one problem, we had to leave! The condo: clean, comfortable, spacious, safe, ocean front, convenient to town, and not in a "hotel row". We loved it, and would return. We cook in a lot, and there was plenty of cookware and accessories for our needs. The pool and hot tub were fantastic. We used them every day. The grounds were neat and clean with daily attention. The condo complex is gated, so a key is required to enter and exit the premises every time. That being said, we walked back and forth to town (10 min. each way) every day and some evenings without feeling threatened or in any danger. Location: The condos are in a neighborhood. We liked that. Some may be less than enthusiastic about the federal port being right there, but it wasn't a problem for us at all. There is a high concrete wall that surrounds the port, and though there was some noise from trucks and equipment, it wasn't bad at all. The dock to the port was to the left and front of the condo. We enjoyed watching the container ships load and unload there. It was like we front row seats to the show. To clarify: The port complex is across the road at the back of the condos. It isn't visible from the condos themselves. The Manager: Mercedes was the best. From beginning to end she was pleasant, cheerful, helpful, and quick with any communication we needed. She was there to greet us when we arrived at the condo. We were shown the condo and provided with instructions for operating the air conditioning, TV, etc. She arranged for transportation for us from and to the airport. She is capable and proficient, and we can't thank her enough for her kindnesses. Buen trabajo Mercedes, muchas gracias. We had the best time. Thank you for making this condo available to us.

Very nice condo in a so-so location

We spent 8 days here in November with our kids, ages 8 and 11. This is the best condo in this small complex, as it is on the bottom floor which provides easy acess in and out from the pool area. The pool is where our kids spent almost all of their time, so being in this unit was great. Mercedes provided great help for us during our stay and we felt 100% safe in the condo complex and in the town of PM. Puerto Morelos is a really nice low key town. The condo has virtually everything you will need. (We did struggle with the AC units in 3 of the rooms: one was very cold and 2 were not very cold and the remotes used to control them did not work very well.) We were disappointed with the quality of the beach and the location, however. The beach had broken glass that washed up on it every day and the seaweed that is common in this area. There are no waves other than a small one that crashes right onto the shore and churns up broken shells and coral, which means you must have water shoes. Also, the only snorkeling that was worthwhile was going out in a boat to the reef. The difficulty with the location is that it is a solid 12 minute unattractive walk into town behind the federal port, and the port was rather noisy for half of our stay. Overall, I'd say the condo is well maintained and mellow, the view is lovely, and Mercedes is very helpful, however the location and the beach were not ideal for us. If you are planning on having a rental car and using the condo as a base camp for adventures further afield, it would be fine for that. Or if you wanted to just chill by the pool and not spend much time on the beach. But those wanting more beach time might want to consider other options.

AMAZING

Wow!!! What a wonderful week. Having stayed in a lot of condos Neville’s not only met but exceeded our expectations. It is just as lovely as the pictures. The kitchen had anything you could possibly need. We were up every morning enjoying coffee on the deck as the sun rose. To windy for the beach? No problem, we just stepped out the doors to the pool and hot tub. And did I mention the wonderful hammock? What a great spot for a afternoon nap before a short walk to town for a wonderful dinner. We are already thinking about our return to Puerto Morelos and Palme Real. Thank you Neville for a wonderful week!!! Ken & Ronda

Palma Real Relaxed Trip

Four of us stayed at this villa. We had everything we needed to enjoy this calm and relaxing vacation. This villa has two areas to lounge, a front by the water and another on the side by the pool. Both used daily and enjoyed them for lounging and having dinner by the pool. No need to bring lots of clothes, washer and dryer available. Games and books are there too if needed. We were able to purchase fresh fish in town from the fishermen's catch of the day. The villa was clean and the kitchen was well equipped. Our property manager was there to greet and take good care of us during the week. If looking for a quiet get-away, this is it.

We loved the location because its on the beach and the sound of the waves and the breeze create a sense of peace and harmony you can only dream of when you are not here. Many places we looked at elsewhere you 'might' see the ocean from a block away, we are actually on the beach.

What makes this property unique

Palma Real is a small condo collection, with just 15 units. It's unusual for it to be fully occupied and its location behind the federal port results in an almost private beach. The beach is sandy and well maintained and there is not a big current, so it's safe for almost anyone to swim in.
