Smoky mountain getaway
We spent a week in Gatlinburg, enjoying the town and SMNP. We loved the comfort and convenience of the cabin and its amenities. It was close to town but far enough away for peace and quiet. We had 4 cubs and a mama bear right in our yard!

Nice place but location on intersection is not ideal.
Very clean and a nice place to stay. You will notice in the pictures they do not include a view from the porch. This is because the house is on a 3-way road intersection inside the community at the main entrance. Not a big deal if you don't mind some traffic. For us, we have less traffic at our home than we did at this cabin in the woods. The hot tub is on the deck that is on the roadside.

Perfect Trip!!!
This was absolutely the best experience I have had while staying in Gatlinburg and that is 100% because of this accommodation!!! The cabin itself was immaculate… well-maintained, extremely clean, and perfectly decorated. The location of the cabin took so much stress out of this trip. We were never more than a 10 minute drive from whatever form of entertainment we were looking for but never once sat in traffic or waited for an extended period of time. The neighborhood was quiet and still offered the feeling of isolation cabins further up the mountain have despite the proximity to the neighbors. We really didn’t even notice those staying around us. The owner kept us well-informed and was ready and willing to offer any assistance we may have needed. We will most definitely be booking here again!!!

Perfect Spot!
The cabin was the perfect spot for my family of four! It was in a great location - close to everything but tucked away in the woods. We loved the decor and it had everything we needed for our stay. We’d definitely book again!

Lazy Bear creek
What a wonderful cozy little cabin. We enjoyed all the little bear touches scattered throughout the entire cabin. I loved drinking my morning coffee on the front porch. Beds were super comfortable and there is a regular coffee pot and a Keurig. Easy drive into Gatlinburg and a short trip to the nearest grocery store. It was also nice to do a little laundry before leaving. Communication with the property owner was easy and she was helpful and responsive. It definitely enriched our summer vacation.

Perfect Cabin, Perfect Location
This cabin was absolutely perfect! It was one of the cleanest and most comfortable places I've ever stayed at. The decor was charming and nothing was lacking for amenities. It was easy to get to and very close to downtown Gatlinburg. We couldn't wait to get back to it every night after our activities! Kaye was a super sweet host as well. Wonderful memories from this trip!

Family Gatlinburg Trip
Lazy Bear cabin was absolutely perfect for our family trip to Gatlinburg. The property is as advertised and the neighborhood perks with the pool was a complete hit with the kids. The host was great and communication was outstanding. This was one of the most clean cabins I have ever stayed in and it had everything you need. We loved the proximity to downtown Gatlinburg as well as the National Park. Would high recommend staying here if you have a family of 4 and are looking for a great wekeend in Gatlinburg.

Great Family Cabin
We have a 4 yr old girl and 6yr old boy. They layout was great for us. Nice quiet community too. The cabin was very clean and was in great condition. Everything worked, including the hot tub which the kids really enjoyed. Easy to get to Gatlinburg but peacefully away too. Host was great, we had a wonderful time. Highly recommend

Our Winter Cabin Getaway
So where do I start... nothing but 5 stars all the way! Me and my wife had been discussing about staying at a cabin in the mountains. Let me tell you that had we known what an amazing experience we had as a a family. We would've done it years ago. Of course thay was made possible because of many things. Starting woth the location in the mountains of Tennessee. The views alone will male you come back again and again. The cabin itself felt like your finally home. And lets not forget, one of the best parts. The people and their overall hospitality make you not want to go back to south Florida. A very special thank you to Kaye. We look forward to doing again!!!!

Comfy Cabin
We loved our stay. The cabin was perfect for our family of 4. Everything we needed was included. The fireplace and lit tree made it feel so cozy. Although it was warm during our stay, the nights were cold so we enjoyed having the hot tub available with towels included. ( so convenient) The bath towels included were not the usual stiff towels they were soft and thick. The location was close to downtown Gatlinburg, the grocery store, carry out options and everything else but also secluded enough to feel like you can relax.

Living in Texas we have 2 seasons: hot and hotter. I love the four seasons of Tennessee, I love nature, I love the mountains, and I love the people. After 2 months in Texas I start getting this calling in my heart and I know that it is time to make that trip back to the mountains.
A great location and we love the fact that we can fly in or drive in from Knoxville and take the back country roads to miss the tourist traffic on the Parkway.

If you want privacy, comfort and a convenient location but the safe feeling of a small, well manicured resort, then Lazy Bear Creek is perfect for you. The kitchen well equipped for making meals at the cabin, the WIFI for watching movies, the spacious bedrooms for a good night's sleep, the sound of the creek while relaxing in the hot tub. It's so relaxing and peaceful. You have it all right here!
