Thank you for your review! We are very happy that you were pleased with your stay.
This is a great house for a family vacation. The house is beautiful, spotless and well equipped. The grounds are amazing, kids and adults loved the pool, and the area is perfect for nature hikes and bike rides.
We stayed at this property for a horse show at the Tron international equestrian center, and it was perfect. We had a great location to cook dinner together and cool off from the August heat

We have stayed in several rental houses and this one tops them all. The house was large and had plenty of space for everyone to gather together. The views were amazing and the pool and fishing pond kept our crew totally entertained. We would highly recommend this property!

Thank you for your kind review! We love when our properties check all of the boxes for our guests. :) Would love to host you again!
Our family spent a week at this property. We were so impressed with the house and its management. Spotless exterior and interior! So well stocked with almost everything you can think of. Lot of communal space inside and outside and all bedrooms were comfortable and nicely furnished. We plan to return next year!!
House was set up perfectly for our 10 family members. Open main level family room that flows into the kitchen with plenty of seating and large dining table. Windows lined the back with gorgeous Mountain View’s We woke to grazing deer every morning and took several hikes around the property.
We loved this house! I knew we were in for a treat when I saw the hummingbird feeders. We are avid nature nerds! The property and surrounding area is beautiful. The hike to the waterfall was awesome! The house was spacious and well-equipped. We couldn't ask for more.

Lisette,
Thank you for the 5-Star Review! We are so happy you guys loved the house, wildlife, and private waterfall on the property. Thank you very much for staying at Smaland Falls. We look forward to hosting you again. Thanks!
Our extended family recently stayed at Smaland Falls. The setting is absolutely spectacular...beautiful rolling hills and long range mountain views. Importantly, the house is very accessible -- max 10 minutes to highway and shopping/grocery. There was plenty of space to spread out and it felt much larger than described. The hot tub was also a huge hit. We would absolutely visit again.
This property is absolutely stunning. The land and the view of the mountains are so peaceful. The pool was by far our favorite! We had 6 adults and 5 kids and we had a ton of room. There are so many amenities in the home which makes the stay easier. The property manager was easy to work with and did a great job communicating. If you are looking for a clean, well maintained and absolutely gorgeous home for your vacation this is it!!
This property is absolutely amazing. Easy check in, no issues during our stay (small issue with hot tub, remedied quickly) and the most beautiful property that you could imagine. We had 12 guests and everyone was very comfortable. The fishing pond was nice, but we only caught 1 fish the whole time we were there. Maybe they havent stocked it or something, but was kind of disappointing. The pond was still beautiful and the waterfalls were very nice as well. Something that we were not aware of before our stay, is that Dogs are NOT ALLOWED in the pool. I wish we would have known this ahead of time, because our dog loves the water. We had to keep him leashed by the pool and he just cried. Again, this is very minor, but should be noted. We do understand the reasoning by the owners. All in all, amazing stay, amazing property, amazing views! Thanks!

Scott, your feedback means the world to us! We are delighted to hear that you and your group enjoyed your stay at Smaland Falls. We do apologize that your dear furry friend was not able to enjoy the water on this trip. The home’s description has been updated to include the rule about “no dogs” in the pool; it was explained to us by the homeowner that the pool has a liner but does not have concrete underneath, therefore the liner tearing is too great a risk to allow dogs inside. We hope y’all are doing well, and we welcome you back to this or any of our Yonder homes!! :)
This is a great house for a family vacation. The house is beautiful, spotless and well equipped. The grounds are amazing, kids and adults loved the pool, and the area is perfect for nature hikes and bike rides.
Perfect place to meet with family. Some from NY. Some from FLA. Great fun for kids, 6 and 9. Loved the coffee and cocktail bar. Lots of beds and baths. Very comfy beds. So, so clean. Not a fan of the bees but you just have to be careful.
The pictures of this property does not do it justice. It it beautiful!
Check in was a breeze, and the house was spotless and equipped with everything we needed.
The grounds are beautiful and well kept.
Our family had 4 adults and 4 children ages 7 to 11, plus a small dog.
This vacation was perfect!
We had plenty of room for everyone to spread out and relax or hang out together in the pool, go fishing and hiking.
The kids spent most of their time swimming, catching fish and fire flies, playing ping pong and making s’mores.
We tried some local restaurants, and a couple of adults visited a local vineyard.
We cooked meals, enjoyed coffee on the screened porch while watching deer, wild turkeys and people horseback riding.
I can not think of anything that would have made this vacation better or more enjoyable.
None of us wanted to leave, especially the kids.
We hope to book another visit soon!

Thanks so much for your review, Jeff. We are delighted that you and your family enjoyed your time at Smaland Falls. This home has so much to offer--certified fun for all ages :) We hope y'all are doing well, and we can't wait to see you again!
Wow! What an amazing vacation with our family. Ages ranged from 2 to 90, with my father as the oldest and all our grand children ages 2,3,4,5,6. The house was perfect, with 5 bedrooms all with their own bathrooms, and a bunkroom for the grandkids. The owners thought of everything and more, the house was so well equipped with everything we could have possibly needed and more. We just needed to bring food and clothes and then relax and enjoy the gorgeous property. The views from every bedroom and the living area were spectacular. We were greeted every morning with deer in the meadow, and they came to say goodnight every evening after dinner. We enjoyed the pool and hot tub, hiked to the falls, and played ping pong in the garage. My son and I played a round of golf at a nearby golf course, the course was beautiful, challenging, and reasonable. ($26 senior rate) My only concern is we took the kids fishing at the pond on the property for about 10 minutes, when my son and son in law were attacked and stung multiple times each by what they think were yellow jackets. Luckily the grandkids were not stung. They had to leave some of the fishing gear there and go back and get it later because the bees were swarming. So if you go fishing be careful, the bees came out of the ground. All in all we had an amazing experience and would give Smaland Falls 5 stars, plus 1 for all the extras. Thank you for helping to make our vacation relaxing and enjoyable. I would be remiss if I did not give the highest of praise to Tony the property caregiver, who was there to greet us and give us a rundown of the property and came back several times during the week to check on the pool and the hot tub and to make sure we had everything we needed. He even brought us a dozen fresh eggs from a local farmer. Thanks Tony, you are the Man.

Dan, thank you so much for the 5-star review! We are thrilled to hear that you and your family enjoyed your stay at Smaland Falls. We hope you're all doing well, and Yonder can't wait to see you again!
Every year, we rent a house for a family beach week. This year, I talked everyone into this beautiful mountain house and we were thrilled!! House has absolutely everything- high end appliances, beds and sheets are great, stocked with paper towels, toilet paper, large shampoo/conditioner in each amazing bathroom. My kids never showered in the same shower twice, they needed to try them all 🤣
Weather was amazing (some cool days and some hot days in July) wonderful outdoor space as well. I could keep going. Only downfall for us was the 9hr drive from Maryland!

Surprised at how well the property was stocked. Pantry, kitchen, pool house, didn't need to bring half the "extras" I did. The biggest compliment I can give is that the property totally impressed my 12 yr old grandson, who is very difficult to impress.! Would highly recommend this property!!!!!!!
