The Space:
This unit sleeps up to 7 guests: 2 in each of the bedrooms (3 bedrooms total) and 1 on the twin rollaway bed. The primary bedroom contains a king-sized bed and the two additional bedrooms contain queen-sized beds. Boasting a private porch and a short trip to historic King Street this property has everything you need!

Off-street parking for one car included.

Day pass reservations at The Wonderer for guests of this property are completely free of charge. The Wonderer’s on-site parking lot is a paid lot, however there is free on-street parking in the area subject to availability.

If you plan to enjoy The Wonderer anytime between April 15th - September 1st, we strongly suggest booking in advance to guarantee access.

The culinary scene for which Charleston has become so famous is just steps away. The fantastic restaurants and nightlife of Upper King Street are close enough to walk (King Street is 6 blocks away) but far enough not to keep you up all night.

Getting Around:
The DASH trolley is free in Charleston. There are 3 routes, and two of the routes have stops just 3 blocks from this property. More information can be found with the route map on the DASH website.

Other Things to Note:
Pet policy: As much as we love the four-legged members of your family, we do not allow pets at this property. Any sign of pets will incur additional fees starting at $500.

No smoking is allowed. Violators will be fined for in-room smoke damages. Smoking is only permitted outside of the property at least 10 feet away please.

Please note that there is a noise ordinance in this neighborhood after 11pm daily, so if you are enjoying yourself please take the party inside and be considerate of the neighbors.

Extenuating Circumstances Hurricane Policy: If a Mandatory Evacuation Order is issued by the Governor during the dates of your stay specifically for the county in which the property is located, the extenuating circumstances policy will be in effect, and we will refund any deposits or payments paid by the guest. We shall have no additional liability concerning the reservation. However, if a Mandatory Evacuation Order is NOT issued, then THE STANDARD CANCELLATION POLICY WILL REMAIN IN EFFECT SHOULD THE GUEST CHOOSE TO CANCEL THEIR RESERVATION. If inclement weather in any other part of the country or world during the dates of stay prohibits or alters the guest (or any individuals in the guest's group) from traveling to the property, a refund will not be issued, and we shall have no liability with respect to the reservation. During months where there is a potential for inclement weather, such as hurricane season, we strongly recommend guests purchase travel insurance.

The management company was amazing and very responsive any time I had a question. I would recommend the property based on that experience alone. The property was not super clean but it's a rental and not my home, so to be expected. Management was willing to remedy any request.

Our stay was excellent at this VRBO. The property was clean and reflected photos on the website. The proximity to King St. and other locations was very convenient and easy to get from one place to the other.

The property is in a nice area, very conveniently located near the down town area. The host was very responsive and we greatly appreciated the timely answers to all of our questions. The property was very clean and everything was as listed.

great location but

we had trouble getting in the property the first night, then there was a terrible smell- once alerted the management company sent someone out but the smell did not improve quickly and we were not communicated with about the actions taken. the location was fantastic. and the living space was very comfortable. the water pressure left something to be desired.

Girls Getaway

The place was very clean and comfortable. We only stayed 2 nights and were out all day, so basically only slept there. We did not prepare any food, so can't review on any kitchen items. The property is near a hospital, so some siren/helicopter noises in the evening, but seemed quiet durin the middle of the night. The only complaints were the beds were noisy and the water pressure was very light in the shower. We did not use the public transportation, but a bus stop is nearby.

Not very quiet place

The unit was very clean!! All your bath towels was very neatly in the bedrooms. It had a very old city look to the unit to match the city. Check in was very easy. Publix is close to the unit to get the items we need for a week. The king bedroom is the closest to the road. You hear people walking down the road and talking. Traffic going down the road all night long. Trash pick up is twice a week at 4:30 am. The restaurant beside the unit has delivery service in the morning. That room is not very quiet at ALL. If you have renters on the second floor you hear them walking and can even hear what they are talking about most of the time. Tv in living room is ok signal comes and goes. The chair in the living room looks like it will break at anytime. Two kitchen chairs are very weak and was afraid to sit in them. One chair on porch is coming apart so I had to sit to one side. The tv has three remotes and takes a few to figure out how to use them not just one universal remote. We did have a issue with master bathroom toilet and emailed them about the problem never received a reply.

College/City Tour

We stayed at Low Tide while we took our daughter to tour College of Charleston. The property was perfect for our visit. Walking distance to COC & coffee shops. Plenty of restaurants & boutiques to walk to. Parking was awesome for my large SUV. Was a bonus to have 2 full bathrooms. Hope to stay there again soon.

Owner seems to have tried to upgrade amenities, but not customer service. Everything is "somewhat", as in the blinds don't fit the windows, the traffic noise & street lights are not diminished by the window treatments, the floors could be much cleaner (we know, we wear white socks), the fridge door opens backwards to the outside wall, the porch railings are precarious. Owner was not available during our stay. Be careful when you book. Our first VRBO was awesome. This one, not so much.
