Luxury Loft in the Center of Mt Shasta. Chestnut ~ 420 has views of Mt Shasta, the Eddies and Black Butte. Walk throughout the town from this fabulous location, or stay inside and have espresso, while sitting on the deck and watching the mountain. Spa tub, king size bed, great kitchen, parking in rear, private and quite romantic! Absolutely Lovely Property!

The property was so close to pretty much everything in town and was for sure walking distance from most places! Also, not a far distance from some of the sacred sights in the area! I had a great stay!

Perfect Stay

My husband and I stayed for one week. It was well stocked and walking distance to downtown. We’ve stayed at a number of places in Shasta and this was by far our favorite.

Eileen- I was so surprised when, after a week at the Loft, it was still clean- with all laundry in piles, dishwasher running and everything in place. You did everything to make it beautiful for the cleaner to come in to do her job. Thank you. We had a busy day, and we appreciate you being the perfect guest.

The Best of Mt. Shasta

Excellent property and host. Super clean and comfortable with beautiful view of Mt. Shasta from the heart of town. This was our second stay and definitely would stay here again. Lucky you if you are fortunate to enjoy this property.

VRBO allows no place for Hosts to write, until after guest review. I gave Russ 5* because he is entirely worth of them. Clean, responsive and all around perfect. I would love to have him return.

Perfect Location and Beautiful View

We loved the set up of the house. We stayed on the upper level and had beautiful mountain view out the back and could overlook the town out of the front. The house had every appliance you could need, in addition to the extra comforts in the house, soaps, shampoo, bath robes. The location was perfect for everything we wanted to do.

Weekend getaway

Great location and amenities

Great rental in a prime location with parking in downtown Mt. Shasta. Also, has a private direct of Mt. Shasta. Full gourmet kitchen with large refrigerator. And ample cookware. Responsive property manager.

Provides us with everything

Love being in the heart of town where we can walk to dinner or grocery shopping or the Farmer's Market. Laundry is readily available, garage for our bikes and a magnificent view of Mount Shasta. Home is clean and provides everything you will need.

This is a fantastic location if you want beautiful views of the surrounding mountains and a comfortable space for two. It’s a coffee-lover’s haven with an espresso machine, Chemex, and French press. Plus the host provided some drinks, including half-n-half. So nice! My only comment is that it felt a little strange to have no available window coverings on the back half of the loft, especially at night. Also it would be nice to have more light blocking in the bedroom. Still overall a lovely experience, a thoughtful host, and a place we would go back to again!

My favorite place to stay while attending retreat at Mt Shasta. This time I especially loved cooking in the well appointed kitchen. The Wolf stove/oven and casserole dishes and pans made cooking a breeze. A breville for pulling espresso shots and frothing my nut milk! Intro comfy king size bed and loooong tub fit me just right!

Amazing vacation spot!

My husband and I came up to Shasta for some time away and we were not disappointed with this rental. Beautiful view of the mountain right off the back deck and so many great amenities!! Views from every window, the bed was so comfortable, the espresso machine was heaven and everything was up to date and so clean. A short block or 2 walk to good restaurants and short drive to others. The host was very responsive and was available for anything we needed. We will be coming back and do not want to stay anywhere else!

Beautiful with amazing amenities

This is not a true rental property; it is so much more! The apartment has upgraded everything! The accents are fabulous- comfortable furnishings, clean throughout, fantastic kitchen with upgraded appliances. Check in and out was super easy. The view of the mountain was spectacular. We will for sure book again when we return. This is a special treat you will truly enjoy!

Great View of Mt Shasta 24/7!!!

420 Chestnut offers you everything you need!!! Great whole View of Mt Shasta right from your kitchen, dining area, Convenience of walking to the downtown, Excellent WiFi connection ( Netflix, Hulu, Apple TV etc), The most equipped kitchen any home chef will love, nice king size bed, great host, Jessie with excellent communication!!! We had a fantastic 3 days over Thanksgiving. It was fun cooking in the kitchen. I look forward to returning in the spring!!!

Great Accommodations!

We would highly recommend this VRBO! The property is managed to enhance your stay. Communication was timely and personable. Small details were added to make you feel welcome and cared for. Snacks, coffee and fresh flowers on arrival. Books, puzzles, WiFi and YouTube TV for entertainment. It is a block off main street across from a grocery store, making dining in or out convenient. The king size bed was extremely comfortable, and soft white robes available.

Peaceful Getaway in the Heart of Mount Shasta.

I had a wonderful stay here by myself for 6 nights while attending a retreat in Mount Shasta. The Loft@420 was clean, airy, quiet and tastefully decorated, with many extras provided, as others have mentioned. The views of Mt. Shasta and Black Butte were magnificent and I loved starting my days with a cup of coffee on the deck. Many shops and restaurants, as well as two grocery stores are located within walking distance. Nearby Sisson Meadows is perfect for a quick nature walk with mountain views. Jessie was communicative and responsive throughout my stay. Highly recommend!
