My family and I had a very special time at the White Rapids Retreat. We enjoyed a fun-filled week of swimming and fishing on the river and our dogs loved running around the grass outside. We made unforgettable memories and already can't wait to be back. Thank you!!

We will be back!This place is so pretty, the views right out the back door are incredible. We had a great time and are already thinking of when we can get back here. The house is really nice, everything you need is here and the kitchen is very nice. Husband went out fishing every morning, so when I woke up to the beautiful view of this river, there was my husband fishing Rob was very nice and easy to get a hold of if you had any questions.

Beautiful house, premium location! My family had a vacation well remember forever. Stepping right out the back door to the river bank was a dream, we spent all day outside playing in the river, tubing, fishing, grilling and relaxing. We had a campfire every night while the kids ran around and played. The home is large, clean and stocked with everything you would need. We ventured to Helen for shopping, lunch and sightseeing- only a 20-30 minute drive. We hope to be back soon!

This place was absolutely amazing and the views were stunning. The entire house was spotless. The host has labeled all switches and left directions on how to use hot tub and grill, along with an entire book of local recommendations. This was the last stop of our multi state vacation and we didn’t want our vacation to end. The driveway is steep and we almost thought we were in the wrong location until we made it halfway down the driveway. This place left us speechless. The water was so beautiful and we enjoyed every minute we could sitting and listening to the rushing water and wading across to the island and fished for hours each day. Our three pups loved the property as well and even dove right in the water to join us on the river to fish and explore. The beds were a little stiff for our liking but everyone likes a different firmness and it was so dark at night since it was so remote. We will for sure be booking vacation at this place again. We can’t wait to bring back the rest of our family to visit. 10 out of 10 for sure!

We had an amazing stay at the River Cabin in Demorest! The river is absolutely beautiful—wide, peaceful, and perfect for relaxing or just enjoying the view. The cabin itself was spotless and very well maintained, with all the amenities you could need for a comfortable stay.Everything was thoughtfully set up, making it easy to settle in and feel at home right away. Whether you’re looking to unwind or enjoy nature, this place is perfect. We’ll definitely be coming back!

Our family used to live in South Florida. I am a Physical Therapist, Marisol is a Pharmacist. We wanted to have a vacation property to escape to with the kids and build family memories through the years. I wanted a place in the Florida Keys. Marisol did NOT. I am glad I listened to my wife. We have spent the past 20 years vacationing to this property with our family and friends and have created so many wonderful family memories right there on the river. We gradually fell in love with the North Georgia mountains and relocated to this area with our family. There is a plaque on a rock down by the river that says 'A little peace of heaven'. And that is exactly what this property is. I am never happier than I am at this property spending time with family and friends. Now that I live only 45 minutes away from White Rapids Retreat, I am able to come over once per week and perform regular maintenance, repairs, and make improvements to the property, so year by year we gradually add amenities and make upgrades for everyone's enjoyment.

This property is located 1.5 hours drive from Atlanta, so you can either drive there or fly into Atlanta and rent a car for a short drive. We looked at alot of properties in North Carolina, South Carolina, and North Georgia. Our family loves the river, so we were only looking at river properties. There were alot of options, but we wanted a river with rushing rapids to play in and the sound of the water to lull you to sleep in a hammock. Most properties are either slow moving water, or the house is too far away from the river. The moment we saw this property, I told the realtor 'This is it'. We actually ended up in a bidding war with another buyer over this property. We won!!! It has been worth every penny. We would like to share this property with you and your family to enjoy.
