Mountain getaway close to town

Really enjoyed staying here. The location was quiet and well kept. Inside was very clean and organized. Most shops and eateries were walking distance and the weather was great. Would definitely stay here again.

Good condo with easy access to town

The condo slept 4 comfortably and had a very easy check-in process. Was located on a quiet street with quick access to town and the mountain. Would stay here again.

Spring Break in Breck

This property is perfect and in a great location! It is very clean and comfortable, and we had everything we needed for our stay. You can easily walk to the Gondola and downtown. The onsite pool/hot tubs and other amenities were very nice.

We loved it here!

We had a wonderful long weekend at this beautiful home. Such a great location- we walked into town. Beds very comfy. Communication with owners was easy and quick. Would definitely stay here again.

Really Nice Place

Super clean, great location, good use of space- All 4 of use had room and didn't feel cramped. Super cool being able to ski to the back door.

Great location. Spacious unit with attached heated 1 car garage. Comfortable furniture & beds, fluffy towels. Lots of hot water. Unit was immaculately clean. Love Mountain Thunder Townhomes. Won’t stay anywhere else when visiting Breckenridge.

Great Location in Breck!

Enjoyed our time at this townhome, walking distance to town even for our children. Kitchen offers all you need, outdoor space is a nice bonus. The only negative is the mattresses and sheets are low quality, considering bringing blankets from home to maximize comfort.

Walk to Main Street

Clean and comfortable townhome! We loved being walking distance to town yet with a patio backing to beautiful forest like landscaping. The hot tub located right at the end of the unit was so convenient. Despite the beautiful setting you do hear some road noise and have neighbors above (that we could hear). Overall a great place and location to stay!

Clean, cozy and convenient

This one-level townhouse was very clean and conveniently located. We were able to walk to shops, restaurants and a few hiking trails. We loved the attached garage because we had some rainy days and it was nice to be able to load and unload in the garage. Patio was also a plus.

'23 Ski Trip

Property was great -- spacious enough for four (not for many more)--was nice having a garage but the snow removal to get into the garage was not good-- was a challenge getting the car in and out-- would stay here again but would be more insistent with the property manager regarding snow removal

Excellent Stay

Perfectly clean home in a quiet neighborhood. Super responsive owner to a minor lock issue that was purely user (me) error. Everything is as described. Ski in is AMAZING. Not a ski out but the description states this and the transportation options within minutes of the lifts is fantastic. Hot tub is super close and nice and warm. Great end to the day skiing. I’ll be back.

Ideally situated property in Breckenridge

We have stayed at Mountain Thunder properties many times, usually reserving through the Breckenridge/Epic website. We love the proximity to the gondola, the fact that you can ski in, the hot tubs, the short drive to the Nordic center, and that we can walk to Main Street for dinner from the property. For this particular rental, we enjoyed having a garage attached to the property, clear check-in and check-out communications, and a clean interior with everything we needed. The only limitation was that the property was absolutely freezing when we arrived, and even with keeping the thermostats all set well above 70 degrees F, the bedrooms never really got above 67F (and only that was achieved after 2 days of running the heat), which made for some very cold nights sleeping.

To conserve energy, our staff sets the thermostats to 58°F when the property is not in use. However, during the colder winter months, we will instruct them to set the temperature to 70°F after cleaning to ensure a more comfortable arrival. We have stayed at the Mountain Thunder several times, and we love the location. This condo was not as nice as the others we have visited. The sofa was ripped and duct taped. Amenities were lacking….we had to go buy Kleenex. On a positive note, when both blow dryers were broken, the managers were very nice and responsive and got new dryers to us in a short amount of time. We were grateful for that! And, that’s why I have been hesitant to leave a revue. The owners/managers seem to be great, and the condo was fine…just not as nice as what we have experienced before at Mountain Thunder.

Great location

Great locale. Quick walk to Main and at the part of Main with all of the good restaurants in our opinion. Shuttle service was easy as well. 2nd time staying at Mountain Thunder and would do it again.

Great location close to everything

Great location with pool and hot tub on site for kids. Small issue checking in, but host/mgmt company resolved fairly quickly. Walking distance to gondola and downtown.
