Just five minutes from the village of Arroyo Grande, Tar Creek Ranch is the perfect getaway for your family and friends! As many of our past guests say, being at Tar Creek Ranch brings a sense of freedom from the everyday bustle of life and a throwback to simpler times. Guests can experience luxury, as well as encounter the beautiful outdoors around them.

The exquisitely decorated 3 bedroom/ 2.5 bath ranch house comfortably sleeps up to 8 guests (up to 10 with the sofa sleeper). The open floor plan and great room make a perfect gathering spot for your family and friends. Outdoor living is what makes this home truly special! Enjoy morning coffee or evening cocktails on the large patio with views in every direction. Built-in BBQ, propane fire pit, and outdoor TV for watching the game! What more do you need?!

Guests are given self-access to the home. We are available during your stay for anything that may arise. We are just a few minutes from the Village of Arroyo Grande, Pismo Beach, Lopez lake, and many wineries.

Since this is a working ranch, there are workers present on-site. Furthermore, we ask our guests to please obey the no trespassing signs posted around the property.

Excellent off the beaten path resort

We enjoyed our 2 night stay. It was far enough to feel like we were off the grid, but close enough for a short drive to the dunes. The rooms were clean and tidy, felt like a home of our own.

Spacious, clean get-away

We had 3 families with 4 kids stay over the thanksgiving break. Place was spacious to accommodate all of us. Our favorite space was sun basking in the backyard. The kids enjoyed the soaking up in the jacuzzi bath tub.It was not clear on how to turn on the fireplace in the living room or the fire pit in the backyard. I request the owner leave some instructions for future guest. We had a great time.

Stay at Tar Creek Ranch House

My family and I loved our stay at Tar Creek Ranch House! As soon as we entered the house, we were in awe by the beauty that surrounded us! Each room was immaculately clean! The large windows and the high ceilings made the house "light and airy," plus open and bright with natural light! The patio and grounds provided a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. I especially loved sitting around the fire pit at night with the lights in the patio shining above us and the fire in front of us. Inside the home, we spent time cooking in the kitchen using the gas stove. All of the kitchen cabinets were labeled so that we could easily find pots, pans and other kitchen essentials! We also washed and ironed our clothes, as there was a spacious laundry and utility room. My family and I enjoyed playing a few rounds of pool at the pool table for fun! We enjoyed sitting on the comfy couches watching the wonderful colors of the electric fireplace! There were a variety of fireplace settings to suit our moods. There were no distractions during our stay. The workers were in the area by the barn (which was away from the ranch house) As we arrived, they were very friendly! Thank you to Matthew who was communicative and even allowed us to check in early to the ranch! I highly recommend this lovely and peaceful haven to everyone!

It was a lovely stayed at the house and the property is gorgeous and beautifully located. Loved it!

We had a wonderful time with our daughters here. It was great to have stayed in such a nice well maintained property. I definitely re come de this awesome get away :)
