What a beautiful & warm pool & spa—and it was also so thoughtful to have all the pool floats & towels. We enjoyed the wonderful backyard and patio with a large dining table and working gas grill. Especially loved the large, sliding door that opened the living room to the backyard & patio. The whole place felt spacious and comfortable—the tri-level worked well for separate spaces (for our 3-generation family). It was also a great runaround space (indoors and out) for our two grandchildren. It always felt very private, even though it is a guest house in the hosts’ backyard. It’s in a great location within a lovely neighborhood with terrific views out of all the windows. We worried upfront a bit about the small kitchen and the bath & a half, but it all worked out great. We all had an outstanding time and definitely want to come back.

This place is really nice. The grass is perfect and we spent hours on it and in the pool and hot tub. Check in we noticed that we weren’t allowed a speaker to play music was the only weird rule. I can see some people being outrageous with it so I guess that’s where the rule came from. The guest house or big massive pool house was great and fit is all nicely. Would stay here whenever traveling to Pismo again.

It was a beautiful property the pool and hot tub were amazing. The house was very clean. The host was responsive. It is a guest house or pool house the main house is very close on the other side of pool, we were not expecting that at all by the description but it didn’t appear anyone was staying there? Cars were pulling in and out of other driveway so not sure. Also there is only one shower. Overall we enjoyed our stay at this house.

Excellent pool, beautiful grounds and good privacy. House is well appointed.Owner should define this property as the guest house and that walking up and down stairs is required (for people with disabilities).Also, it was listed as a 4bd room. We only found 3 bd rooms?

If you love a good swimming pool, this spot will please you.The pool is EPIC. Clean, beautiful, not over chlorinated, great hot tub!My biggest problem w/ the house was I abandoned all other plans so I could stay home & swim.While my friends spent their days running around to Target & buying things off facebook marketplace for their kid's apartments at Cal Poly, I told mine to order the bits & pieces still needed & come over to swim, hot tub, play card games on the porch w/ us, & barbecue.The house itself is nicer than the pictures.Its super clean, beds & couches all in great condition, nice towels, stainless steel pots & pans (no worn down scratched non-stick pans like in other rentals!).I will say this with *HOPES IT HELPS SOMEONE READING*: There is no oven.That changed our plans & I wish I had known. Maybe its written somewhere, but I didn't see it.There's a nice stove top, a microwave & outside grill. We were just fine for our 2 day stay. Also, this unit is an upscale, 3 bedroom pool house with high ceilings, lots of natural light, big lush lawn area, & in the backyard of another house. I was surprised & disappointed on first site..but then I was then won over big time. This place is kept up like it is someone's home, bc it's part of someone's home! Also, the main house had it's blinds drawn the whole time which gave some privacy but I did wonder if it's always like that when people stay. The neighborhood is lovely & in a great location. I'd happily stay again!

***This is a guest house*** It wasn't until I went deep into the reviews (post reservation) that I realized this is a guest house. I believe this is inaccurately listed and it should be stated immediately that this is a guest house and you are on shared property. The pool/hot tub is in between the guest house and the main house. The guest house faces the main house. The house is clean. The communication is great. The pool is wonderful. However, I would NOT have rented this property had I known ahead of time that it is a guest house on shared property with tenants in the main house.

Gathering to bring 4 generations together in near by Santa Maria. Property is well appointed, spacious, clean and comfortable. The pool and hot tub are a special added bonus. Great location.

This place was amazing and we didn't want to leave!! The house is beautiful, clean, and spacious. I would love to stay here again. The beach was close by and lots of good places to eat. Even though it's a shared property, with the pool between the main house and guest house we felt very comfortable and didn't even know if anyone else was around. Check in and check out instructions provided my Whitney were clear and easy. Thank you for everything!

Why they chose this property

I grew up in this neighborhood. It is minutes from the heart of Downtown San Luis Obispo, but you feel like you've escaped into your own oasis. Quiet day/night except for the occasional owl. Sometimes deer wander by. Often when it is cold and foggy at the beach, the sun is shining here, and it is a perfect mid-70 degrees almost every day. I love the hiking and running in the area, and everyone is so friendly! The village of Arroyo Grande is a cute little spot to shop locally. A rural feel but is close to shopping, great dining, wineries, lakes, and beaches.

What makes this property unique

The house has a pool that is exclusive to guests. It has a giant yard (great for kids and pets to run around and for everyone to enjoy the sunshine) and a big driveway for larger vehicles/trailers. It is a beautiful, thoughtfully decorated 3 bedroom located on acreage in a quiet, upscale neighborhood. Guests enjoy exclusive use of all amenities. The kitchen is thoughtfully stocked and equipped for full meal prep. The property is perfect for families to spend time together and create memories, for couples looking for a weekend away, for reunions, and really any reason to get away from the day-to-day.
