• We have monthly pest control at all of our cabins. Being in the Great Smoky Mountains, we are surrounded by nature and wildlife. Ladybugs, millipedes, and other insects can be difficult to combat around this time of year, even with our constant pest control program in place. It is not uncommon to see them occur in and around the cabin/condo, especially with the opening and closing of doors. This is extremely common for the area and all cabins/condos.
• Being in the mountains, wind can sometimes blow leaves, dirt, or other natural debris into the hot tub. The hot tub has been drained and cleaned to ensure it’s ready for use.

The cabin was clean and perfect for my husband and I. The view was beautiful and it was in a great location with easy access to downtown Gatlinburg. We loved the privacy for the hot tub also.
Me and my wife stayed in this particular cabin on our honeymoon and it was amazing. Very clean property management was very communicative and the location was perfect. We are already planning our anniversary.
I really enjoyed my stay. The view of the mountains from the porch was just beautiful. The home was clean and I slept comfortably. It was only 6 minutes to town which was so convenient. I definitely look forward to staying here again.
My partner and I absolutely loved the cabin. It was clean, spacious, the amenities where great! The drive was easy and quick to everything nearby. Only downside we found was there's no dressers or closet in the small cabin we stayed in. So we ended up using the spare bed as a spread for our clothes and belongings. If we brought another person we couldn't have done that
We had a great time! The view from the deck is absolutely beautiful! My husband and I really enjoyed using the pool table and foosball table. Easy to drive up to the cabin and very easy to find. Communication with the owners was a breeze and they seemed to truly care!
The cabin was just beautiful! It was easy to find and the property manager replied very fast !!
The cabin is just like the pictures!! Was easy to find and had a beautiful view of the mountains!! The deck was wrap around and perfect!
The bed were comfortable however I would recommend a few more blankets!
I would stay again!!
Thank you for a beautiful time!
The cabin has a great view and it was easy to park. You don’t have to drive up a steep hill. The highlights were the wraparound porch and the kitchen. My kids enjoyed the hot tub and pool table. It would be helpful to have more toilet paper and towels for a family that is staying for a week.
Chris couldn't have been nicer! Checked in on us by text shortly after check in time which was so nice! We felt very taken care of. So relieved to have a place to retreat to away from downtown…but just a few short minutes drive to get there when we wanted to hike, shop, do the many attractions of the city. We saw a bear at night in the community which was so incredible! Hottub was amazing, super clean. Our kids had a blast with the foozball and pool table. Beautiful views from wrap around porch. Perfect little cabin for our family! You will be happy to stay here!!
This was the PERFECT cabin for parents with little kiddos! We went with a 1 year old and a 10 year old! I LOVED that the cabin was all on one floor! It made the worry go away for our 1 year old. It was clean, check-in/check-out was a breeze, and Chris was amazing at accomodating us prior to our trip! We would rent again here in a heartbeat! It was so close to downtown Gatlinburg, that it was not a big deal to leave and come back a few times a day. The hot tub, jet tub, and pool table were huge perks! The wrap-around deck with the mountain view was incredible!!! Perfect all around for us!
This cabin is in a great location and served its purpose for our quick trip to the Smokies, located in what seems like a neighborhood of short term rentals. The view is awesome! Cabin could use a little updating, the bathroom sink and shower fixtures were loose (was an art to turn off the bathroom sink water to stop it from dripping), and you can see mold through the bathroom vent fan/light high on the ceiling. Also suggest making at least one of the pool sticks shorter since the location of the pool table makes it difficult for some shots without hitting the wall. But overall the stay was fine for finding a place on short notice, and waking up to the view of Mt. Le Conte makes you forget any of the negatives!
Our stay at On Top of the World in Gatlinburg was nothing short of spectacular! This cabin is a true gem, perfectly named for its breathtaking location and jaw-dropping views. Perched high in the Smoky Mountains, the cabin offers panoramic vistas that made every morning and evening feel like a private show from nature. Watching the sunrise paint the mountains in golden hues from the spacious deck was a highlight of our trip. The cabin itself is beautifully designed, blending rustic charm with modern comforts. The interior is warm and inviting, with large windows that frame the stunning scenery like living artwork. The open living area was perfect for our group to relax and soak in the views, whether we were cozied up by the fireplace or enjoying meals together. The hot tub on the deck was a fantastic touch, letting us unwind while gazing at the rolling hills and distant peaks.Every detail of On Top of the World added to the experience—the serene quiet, the fresh mountain air, and the feeling of being tucked away in a private paradise. It’s just minutes from Gatlinburg’s attractions, but feels like a world apart. We couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful or memorable stay. Highly recommend this cabin for anyone looking to experience the magic of the Smokies in style!
A wonderful cabin with a priceless view in a great neighborhood. The location is the best! Right between any destination in the area.
Great wifi, if that matters to you. Smart TVs in every room if you want to watch anything.
No useful porch furniture to enjoy the view, no rocking chair or lounger, just a couple outdoor chairs.
The shower leaves much to be desired: small, no water pressure, doesn't get hot, gets water all over the floor. The strangest shower I've ever used, but we got clean and enjoyed the cabin.
Also not enough dish soap for the week and laundry detergent to wash towels more than once. And notbenough trash bags for the week.
Overall, we would stay there again for the view, and be prepared for what we mentioned above.
We loved our week-long mountain getaway!

Nice Unit, But Cleanliness and Follow-Through Fell Short
The property looked great upon arrival and matched the listing photos well. However, after spending a few hours in the unit, we noticed our kids’ feet were turning black from walking on the floors. Initially, we assumed it was just a distressed finish, but after cleaning a small area ourselves, it was clear the floors were simply very dirty. We contacted the management company and shared a video to demonstrate the issue. They did send cleaners twice, which we appreciated, but even after both visits, the floors still weren’t as clean as they should have been for a vacation rental. They also told us they would refund the small cleaning fee, but that refund never happened.Overall, the unit had potential and most other aspects were fine, but the floor cleanliness and lack of follow-through on the promised refund definitely impacted our experience.

Livable, but will not stay again
The views of this cabin were impeccable and the check in process was easy and convenient. However, we will not be staying at this property again. Once we came to the property, we saw tons of trash on the front grass of the property. Immediately, I contacted the manager and sent pictures and he responded quickly and said he had no idea that the trash was there. Because of this, we did not feel comfortable getting into the hot tub either because it made us feel like if they missed all the trash in the front, then more than likely they did not drain the water either from the last guest.
The bedroom has no nightstand, so be prepared to use something to hold your phone and other items, such as drinks.
Once we removed the sheets, right before checkout, we saw the bed had numerous yellow stains on it. It really grossed us out. You would think they would put mattress covers at the least since so many people use the beds.
Also, bring your own toilet paper and paper towels since they offer low quality ones that are not comfy to the touch.
Will not be staying at this cabin again.

Disaster
Mold and roof leaking so bad on and near pool table. Hot tub was not warm and never got warm. Swarms of aggressive bees attacking as you walk on the porch and near the hot tub. Cook ware and dishes was dirty and rusted. Tried to communicate with the owner or manager but no communication. Didn’t even try to resolve issues only response was Im sorry this happened. Cracked tiles and mold everywhere. Jacuzzi was dirty and the jets didn’t work. This place looks amazing at first glance until you go to shower or soak in the tub or play a game of billiards and water is pouring on you from the roof. Parking lot Work crew came at like 7 am beating on door not just a knock. Never got to sleep in they were sooo rude and wouldn’t stop beating on the door until I was dressed and came to the door. Just a weekend getaway to relax and sleep in turned disaster
