Great stay in a quiet location not far from downtown Duncan. Marcie's place was very clean and comfortable!! The waters of the Cowichan River were very inviting on a hot summer day.
This was a very clean and well equipped cottage. Spacious for our family. Convenient for Duncan centre. It feels retro and quite basic, but is a good base for exploring this area.
We needed a quick stay late at night. It was quaint, or cozy and rustic, just as advertised. It was clean and simple, which was perfect for what we needed. We'd stay here again, for sure.
My only complaint would be that it was very warm and windows could not open (old house, painted shut) and there was only one working fan. It would be nice to have a fan in everyone and windows that can open.
