The rooms were very clean, appliances new and in good working condition. Furniture was comfortable. We had no communication with the host while we were there. We were there to visit family.

This property is a very nice, small two-bedroom, one bath home with a terrific view for the price of a hotel room. It is close to the New River, which is wonderful for rafting, canoeing, kayaking, etc. There are no trees around, so you can see for a long ways. The road is not heavily traveled, it is paved so no dust. It is within a half hour of several small mountain towns. There is a very good restaurant within a half mile. Grocery store is a few miles away, so plan ahead.

Thank you for the wonderful review! We're so glad you enjoyed the home's terrific view and found it such a great value, with easy access to the New River for rafting, canoeing, and kayaking. It's great to hear the location worked well for you too, with a good restaurant nearby and small mountain towns within easy reach.

I gave the property five star rating in part because it’s great, but also, because even though not everything went perfectly very merely part the host was immediately responsive and they resolved everything amazingly.
