It was cozy, warm inviting little cabin that had everything for a comfortable stay

  • 5 of 5

Upon arrival and entering the cabin for the first time, you can't help notice the smell of pine wood which is found throughout the interior. The gas logs are cozy and keep the cabin comfortably warm when our temperature dipped into the 20's at night. The kitchen is open and has late-model appliances. Plenty of plates, glasses, silverware and knives to enjoy dining. The creek is just a matter of feet away from the back porch and is very soothing to sit with a cup of coffee and watch for deer. But for the geeky person, yes, there is wi-fi and it came in very handy since AT&T does not service a lot of the surrounding area. Wifi calling was easy. Bottom line, my wife thoroughly enjoyed our three-day and three-night stay.

I want to go back now

  • 5 of 5

Our time at the cabin was heavenly. It was so nice to get away from the hectic life and unwind. Listening to the babbling stream at night was so relaxing. The hot tub eased away stress too. The wifi and TV service were solid.

Hal was great. Gave us recommendations of places to eat and some things to do. He was very responsive to any questions we had too.

Only gotcha (for us) is we had no cellular service [we utilize AT&T]. With the wifi though it wasn't as big an issue when we were at the cabin.

Wish we had more time

  • 5 of 5

I would like to start our review with the worst thing about the cabin...and that is leaving. We did not stay nearly long enough.

Getting there was easy. Once we opened the door and got inside, it was perfect. Quaint and roomy with everything you could ask for. The condition of the inside was immaculately kept and the grounds outside was very well maintained. With temperatures being lower, we were able to keep windows open the entire time and enjoy the sound of the stream that was only a few feet from the back of the cabin. The wrap around porch with gated steps was a big plus for us and our 2 fuzzes too.

By the time we were leaving, a discussion was already started about going back in the winter...so yes we would revisit this great little cabin.
