About the property

Cabin, 2 Bedrooms + 2 Baths, (Sleeps 4)

Please continue to pray for Gatlinburg. The fires have been devestating. We were originally told and they listed black bear falls as an area that was burnt down. Later to find out from a local friend that cabin fever and Black Bear Falls survived. Once we know more we will start taking reservations, until then please keep this community in your prayers. They have lost their homes, businesses, and jobs...

Cabin Fever is a beautiful log home located in Black Bear Falls, Gatlinburg's community. This log home is decorated in rustic log furnishings and original photos from local photographers. Located just a few minutes from downtown Gatlinburg, but in a setting you'll feel like you're miles back in the woods.

Cabin Fever has two covered porches. The full covered back porch allows you privacy whether you are rocking in rocking chairs, or enjoying a dip in the outdoor jacuzzi while viewing the beautiful woods and a clear shot of Mt Leconte. You will love the swing on the porch.

Cabin fever has two bedrooms, each having unique log furniture from out West, and gorgeous log walls. Each suite has king beds, and a jacuzzi tub in a separate bathroom. Giving each guest their privacy while sharing this beautifully decorated cabin. The upstairs bedroom is open to below, as it is a loft bedroom.

The full kitchen allows you to stay in while enjoy cooking and dining, or enjoy cooking out on the charcoal grill. The kitchen is fully furnished. You'll enjoy the beautiful scenery from a top black bear falls. One of the best views in Black bear falls. You'll enjoy sitting out in the wooden rockers on the full size porch year round. Or maybe the outdoor hot tub on the deck is more your taste. Either way, you'll feel very relaxed in this setting. Enjoy a warm fire in the rustic rock fireplace located in your den, surrounded by windows with beautiful woods surrounding you.

Cabin fever is located within two miles of downtown, and is an easy drive to the National park for a hike, wildlife viewing, or a short drive to the grocery, shopping and Dollywood. The community for Cabin Fever also has a pool and clubhouse for rental guests.

Enjoy complimentary WiFi while staying at Cabin Fever, so bring your wireless capable computer. Also we offer free long distance calls. there is a ethernet cable on site too.

Guest have loved this cabin. Our no smoking policy has allowed us to keep the cabin clean and enjoyable for all. And yes we welcome your well behaved, house trained, and flea controlled pets. A small non-refundable pet fee of $50 per pet applies. You will love our new fenced in area for dogs....We love dogs too !! We also supply a dog gate if you choose to use to contain your pet in the house in an area.

Guest say they feel so relaxed and enjoy the fine furnishings and cozy feeling of being in the woods. Stay in and enjoy some games with the family, meals together, or a romantic getaway. You'll revisit year after year, asking for Cabin Fever by name.

Perfectly quiet and clean with beautiful mountain view

  • 5 of 5

Our daughter wanted to get away to some place quiet for her birthday. This cabin was perfect! We even were able to bring our big dog. We were close enough to the National Park to go hiking and to Gatlinburg to do some shopping and see the aquarium but just far enough out to feel secluded. Our first morning in the cabin we were visited by a bear. He was just taking his time eating acorns right off the back deck.

You barley notice the other cabins in the community from this one. There is a clear view of the mountains from the back deck.

The owner is easy to work with and has done a great job keeping the cabin up to date and fully stocked with everything you need.

Ideal Base for Your Visit to the National Park and/or Gatlinburg

  • 5 of 5

When my family of five arrived, my daughter said, "Can we live here?" A week later, we were all sad to leave this beautiful cabin. The cabin is located in a log cabin community. You will be located only a few miles from either the National Park or the very touristy downtown Gatlinburg. You will have some neighbors, but the cabin feels private. You are well separated from all the craziness of Gatlinburg. Because this cabin is located on a hilltop, from the back deck, you can see a few neighboring rooftops. Sight lines are well considered, and you can sit in the hot tub on the deck, enjoy the mountain view, and feel that you have total privacy. There is a community pool within a minute or two drive of the cabin. The pool is nothing special (think hotel pool), but it's clean, well maintained and convenient to access. Our kids enjoyed spending a couple afternoons playing there. The interior of the cabin is in excellent condition, very clean and well maintained, and tastefully decorated with a mountain cabin theme. The kitchen is stocked with all the basics. We prepared and ate most of our meals in the cabin, and we had everything we needed. Our favorite feature of the cabin was the deck with the hot tub, porch swing, rockers and beautiful view. The cabin was a good fit for our family of five. Our youngest slept on a twin air mattress, which is provided in the cabin. The entrance to the National Park is easily within reach. If you're looking for a little "off the beaten path" hiking while you're in the area, we would recommend the Porter's Creek Trail in the Greenbrier area. The trailhead is only 10 minutes from the cabin. Do yourself a favor and pick up some of the epic cinnamon rolls from the Mountain Lodge Restaurant, only 5 minutes away.

PERFECT In Every Way.

  • 5 of 5

This was our first trip to Gatlinburg and it won't be our last. This cabin is awesome. It has it all from cozy decorating, comfortable everything, great deck with a hot tub, porch swing and matching rockers with a great view to match. I can't say enough about staying here. All the reviews from others say it all. We truly did not want to leave and feel lucky that we got to stay here.

We come to Gatlinburg every year and this is our 2nd time in Cabin Fever. We plan to stay here every trip at this time. Very clean and the best view. Decorated wonderfully. Thank you both so much.

Beautiful Cabin!

  • 5 of 5

I have stayed at this cabin a number of times and will continue to do so as long as I visit Gatlinburg. Booking the cabin is as easy as it gets. The cabin itself is gorgeous. You can tell they take great care of it and nothing is overlooked. The views are fantastic as the cabin is one of the highest up in the community. The hot tub Is a wonderful feature, definitely feels good after a long day of hiking or sightseeing. The kitchen has everything you need if you wish to prepare a meal at the cabin instead of going out. It is also a pet friendly cabin, I love that I can bring my dog. The location is great too. You seem like you're further from the hustle and bustle of Gatlinburg, but you're really only 5 or 10 minutes away. I can't wait until my next visit!

Gorgeous Views, Fantastic Location and PERFECT CABIN!!!

  • 5 of 5

What a perfect spot for a romantic getaway!!! Our stay was fantastic! This is a gorgeous cabin and exceeded our expectations.

We felt that the location of the cabin was one of the best in the community. It is situated high with a spectacular view of the mountains. We thoroughly enjoyed drinking coffee while relaxing on the porch in the rocking chairs or soaking in the hot tub. It was a great place to unwind, very peaceful and quiet.

Everything in the cabin was not only beautifully decorated but pristine. It was great to stay in such a clean home that is so well maintained. We loved cooking meals in the kitchen, the cabin has lots of light from the beautiful windows.

The small, fenced in yard with screening was great for my small dog. It was very neat and clean, and there was no pet waste in the yard.

The owners are wonderful. Extremely easy to work with and made themselves easily accessible if we had any questions.

We can't wait to return!!! This is a great spot for any event... family gathering, romantic spot, get away with friends, etc. Thank you for everything!
