Great space. Clean. Family friendly. While I did not need to reach out during my stay, the host was responsive. The recreation space and laundry option set this place apart from other options at Chalets on the Lake. There is not an immediate lake view but it is a nice bike ride or walk away. While the lake view is desirable, the upside is fewer people and traffic so kids could safely ride bikes and play in the yard. It is near the road so there is some street noise but mostly quiet outside and no noise inside. The kitchen and main floor has been nicely upgraded as well. I would book again.

The property has a lot of amenities. The two pools (one with a wading pool) were very nice and great for kids both toddlers and kids learning to swim. The playground was also great for kids. The Lake Michigan beach on the property is small and kind of rocky (Crocs are useful) until you get out into the water 20 feet or so and the bottom is sandy. Our grandkids enjoyed "dancing" with the waves. The unit also has many amenities. It has a well-equipped kitchen, three TVs, a nice shower (no tub) in the first floor bathroom. The unit is one side of an A-frame cabin and because the bedrooms are on the top floor they feel a little cramped (especially the upstairs half-bath which is serviceable, but pretty small). The queen size beds are nice and kids will like the bunk beds. The air conditioning is more than adequate. It was great to have access to a washer and dryer in the unit. The wifi was good. Of course the location is great. We had a great stay. Thanks so much.

Great Stay at the Chalet

We had a great time at this property. The house was clean and comfortable. The property has a great location near the lake with beach access. Also close to the Warren Dunes and Grand Mere state parks.

Vacation with 4 grandchildren, a lot for them to do, love the game room on lower level. Lots of outdoor space, beautiful deck and very large yard. Great place, very clean, excellent communication. Having washer and dryer in unit is great. Everything is provided in the rental. Second time renting this place and definitely will be returning.

Family fun

The villa was beautiful and comfortable. The property was gorgeous and great for families. Multiple pools, playgrounds and the beaches were great! No need to leave for entertainment. The playroom in the basement/garage was an especially nice amenity. We will definitely book this property again!

Great getaway!

Had a great stay. Kitchen has been updated from the photos in the listing, and it was beautiful. Only negative was that it was at the completely at the back of the property from the lake and beach. However, it was nice to be by the fishing pond, and one of the pools wasn’t very far.

Family and kid friendly - 2nd time staying here

We loved our time here for the second year in a row. Basement converted into a game room is a big hit with the kids! Love the resort itself with two pools, a fishing pond, and it’s own private beach. Would love if kitchen had a few more cooking utensils/pans!

Great space and amenities

Perfect for our family four night stay. Adorable, clean and comfortable accommodations. Walking distance to two private beaches, pools, shuffleboard, b-ball, tennis/pickleball, playgrounds. Close to grocery, restaurants. Plenty of games/activities and houseware to keep busy and cook during downtime. Highly recommend 10/10!

Great Find

We enjoyed this chalet immensely. The lake access and converted garage (game room) were the highlights. The kitchen is a little dated and the bedrooms are a bit cramped, but we had everything we needed and the overall property was a bit nicer than we were expecting.

A-Frame Lake Stay

It was great! Exactly as stated in the listing. Very cozy and cool on some hot, muggy days. The location is fantastic as well. The property itself has multiple pools and playgrounds within walking distance. It's also a very easy drive to several of the small towns along the coast. Overall a great stay. Would definitely come back.
