Beautiful home and property. Owner was so easy to work with. The bedroom on the main level is small and right off the living room. But overall, we had a great weekend.

Home was very nice and had everything that you could possibly need, a great place for the family to stay, everyone enjoyed themselves and would recommend to others. Very private as you’re on a large lot.

This was our second stay at this property. Very clean , well appointed home in a nice quiet neighborhood. The floor plan works perfectly for our family of five with three different generations. The owners are very responsive and gracious. We wood definitely stay here again.

This place is spacious and was perfect for our 5 guests. The outdoor space was our favorite lounging spot. It had everything we needed. We were comfortable and would love to stay again and if we come back to the area.

Our stay was very pleasant. We had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Our large family felt right at home. The accommodation was suitable for all 3 generations represented. This is definitely a great location for a weekend getaway! The neighborhood felt secluded and safe yet very welcoming! I would definitely stay here again!

Our family had a perfect week at Lakewood. The house was just the right size for the 4 of us and 2 small dogs. Everything was comfortable and well-appointed. Any little thing we forgot was already provided.Communication was great--fast and friendly, and minor wrinkles with our check-in were very swiftly fixed. It rained a good portion of our visit but we were happy to stay in and read or play games.We saw a barred owl, some bats, monarch and swallowtail butterflies, and deer in the side yard.We will definitely stay here again if we can!

The stay was amazing, as soon as you walk in the front door it's exactly what you would have wanted for your little get away. The rooms were all very clean and organized, the master bedroom was perfect with its own bathroom making it easy to get ready when you have a full house. The backyard was big enough to enjoy with friends and also the fire pit was nice for hanging around at night.

We've stayed here twice and plan on booking for next year. 5 ladies that meet annually for an event in St. Joseph. House is clean, plenty of room for everyone to relax, nicely equipped kitchen. Host responded to our personal request quickly. Beds were great and bath linens good quality. Highly recommend.

What a great family trip! The house and the host were amazing. So nice that they sent the welcome packet to us ahead of time so we could plan what we wanted to do. The house is beautiful and perfect for young kids and pets. Plenty of room and comfy beds. Just a short drive to St Joseph and New Buffalo for daily trips. The yard isn’t fenced but is so large that it was no issue for our two dogs on the lead they provided. We spent two fun nights around the fire pit! Watermark Brewing was a favorite since we brought our dogs and it has a huge dog-friendly outdoor area.

Great home in the heart of Stevensville

Was in the area for a wedding and the location of the property made it easy to reach the venue in just a few minutes with the proximity to I94. Very quiet and private property with tons of room. An awesome choice for anyone staying in the area. 5 stars

Beautiful home in a beautiful setting

This is an absolutely beautiful home with plenty of space for our family of 6, including 3 teens. We loved the wooded lot and outdoor space and it was a perfect set up for bringing our pup with us. The owners are lovely and so helpful with many recommendations for their favorite spots in the area. We have vacationed in this area for years, since our kids were little, and still found some new favorites during our stay at Lakewood.This was a quick spring break stay in between college visits but we still squeezed in a really fun hike at Grand Mere State Park and got our daily dose of Bit of Swiss bakery, which is an easy 2 min drive from the house and has to be one of the best bakeries in the Midwest, if not the US. Emma's Hearth in Bridgman was a treat, truly authentic and delicious Italian meatballs and wood fired pizza. And of course we love Silver Beach and Tosi's Cafe in St. Joe.Thank you for sharing your lovely home with us. We will absolutely stay here again when we have another opportunity!
