PLEASE READ - A CAUTION FOR THE PARTYING CROWD:

Most of the folks in our building are full time residents in Breckenridge. That means they usually get

up early, put in a full days work, then come home and chill out. These folks like to have a good time

like everyone else, but because they live and work here they generally like a little peace and quiet.

So, if you are heading to Breck with skiing and hard partying in mind, then for your sake, you would do

better to stay somewhere other then our place. If you want to ski hard and have a good time recovering

for the next ski day, without getting too out of hand in your celebrating, then come on down.

Why John and Patti Huth chose Northwest

Although we had not skied much of Breckenridge before purchasing, we knew that it was arguably the best ski town on Colorado's Front Range. We also liked the proximity of Gold Camp to the Peak 8 base. Close enough to be convenient, but far enough away to be economical.

What makes this condo unique

The unit designs in Gold Camp make great use of the space and we hope you will find it as comfortable as we do.

Comfortable and convenient

This condo was my first VRBO and it was great. Beds were comfortable, kitchen was user-friendly, the place was clean and pretty quiet, and location very convenient for Peak 8 as well as nordic touring center. Place seemed a bit overheated and stuffy, but we were able to open the windows for cooling and fresh air. And the master bed frame is long relative to the space and it's easy to catch your shins on it as you squeeze by. We put a pillow next to it for protection.

Perfect place for a ski trip. Close to the bus stop and town.

I would recommend this condo for those interested in a place close to the gandola. Quick access to town and all that is great about Breckenridge.

Great Place!

This was our first time visiting Breckenridge in Dec. 2016. The condo had a super efficient layout and was very clean. We have a family of 5, with three teenage boys. They each had a bed in the extra room. As you walk in the entrance, there is a small foyer with a place to put your wet boots (assuming you go in the winter). Around the hall, it has a great shelf that goes down the entire wall with extra hooks where you can easily place all of your other winter gear. The kitchen table/bar is really a neat layout and you can fit a bunch of people around it. We never cooked there, but everything looked like it was very recently updated in the kitchen. I could not understand the concept of the 1 1/4 bath when we booked online, but basically there is a full size bathroom and right outside, there is an inset with an extra decent size vanity, sink, and shelf. It actually was very convenient for our family as that is where we all brushed our teeth and where I could get ready while the boys used the restroom. The unit was back in a larger complex with fairly convenient access as it had parking right out front or in the back if it was full. We never took the tram and seems like it would be a little bit of a hike in winter gear.

The only small cons were (1) we could not seem to get the temperature right as it had an older thermostat (although, this got better once we figured out where we did like it set). (2) It is located on the top of ski hill so we had to be careful driving down (for the record, we are southerners and are not used to driving in snow). They did do a good job at plowing. Even driving everywhere, the town is VERY convenient as you could get to nearly everything within a couple of miles.
