About this property
Beautiful Mountain Cabin with EV Charging Outlet! Spring is Coming!
You're looking at a beautiful cabin with an open floor plan. The cathedral ceiling in the great room leads to an airy feeling, with large windows along the back wall so you can enjoy the beautiful mountain view in any weather. There is a wood burning fireplace to enjoy on cool autumn and winter nights, while the central heat and air keeps the cabin at just the right temperature year round. Bear's Nest is a few minutes out of downtown Gatlinburg, convenient to the Ramsay Trailhead in the National Park, letting you enjoy quiet and privacy year round. The cabin is decorated for Christmas through November and December, so you can get maximum enjoyment out of your winter vacation!
If you drive an EV, we have a Level 2 charging outlet - new for 2025! You'll have to bring your cord; please let us know if you'll be using the charger, so we can give you whatever information you need.
You'll have a full kitchen, including a dishwasher, refrigerator, stove and microwave, with dishes and cookware for whatever your dining plans might include. There's also a wine cooler for your enjoyment. The covered back deck includes a dining table and grill, so you can enjoy the Great Smokies to their fullest!
The bedroom on the main floor has a king sized bed, with soft linens, a quilt, and warm blankets seasonally available. The game loft upstairs has a pool table, and the second bedroom is also upstairs; it has a queen sized bed, again with soft linens and quilt. The private bathroom located off this bedroom has a unique, live edge vanity and spacious shower.
Relax in the private hot tub on the back deck, which was installed in March of 2025, or enjoy the community pool. We've also included a washer and dryer for your use should you need it. Hardwood floors throughout for a clean feeling, a nice front porch with rockers and 3 parking spaces round out this nice vacation space. If you're looking for a "work from home" space, we've got you covered. There's a quiet table upstairs which makes a great workspace, and the WiFi is very strong here.
This cabin is located in the upscale Cobbly Nob community, which includes 3 community pools. At the entrance to the community off 321, you'll find the Bent Creek Golf Course. The front 9 holes have tee times available most days, and reservations can be made online one week or less before you'd like to play. The back 9 holes are an adventurous mountain course, if you're up for a challenge. If you are traveling with children, there's a great playground located at the entrance located about a half mile up 321 from our entrance. Horseback riding stables, whitewater rafting, zip lines and the Anakeesta outdoor adventure hub are also nearby. The Gatlinburg Arts and Crafts community has an 8 mile arts and crafts driving loop with plenty of small, local shops specializing in almost everything imaginable; a trolley also runs through it. If you're driving through the Arts and Crafts Loop, be sure to check whether the buffalo are in the pasture near the road!
It's about 10 miles to Gatlinburg down a nice 4 lane road; Ober Gatlinburg is nearby for winter skiing; drive through the Great Smoky Mountain National Park to enjoy vast, scenic vistas or take one of their many hiking trails for an enjoyable day in the woods. A book in the cabin has information on some of the great things to do and see in Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge, and the Great Smoky Mountain National Park.
From mid-November through January, Gatlinburg, and Pigeon Forge are decorated for the Christmas celebration, and so is Bear's Nest! Come have an early (or late) celebration here, in a place where everyone loves the holidays!
If you're coming for a special occasion, please let us know. We are happy to make suggestions for the celebration. If you have questions before you arrive, we're happy to answer them. We're looking forward to your visit!

We do not offer refunds due to weather. We would highly recommend trip insurance to protect your vacation.
Rates are subject to change at any time before a reservation is confirmed.

Your pictures are great; I'm very happy that you and your family had such a nice visit (and those steaks look terrific)! Thanks again for returning, and I'll look forward to your third visit in the future!
Great booking! We had a blast. Great spot, everything is as advertised with the exception that the view from the deck is a bit better than the pictures can capture. Gatlinburg is fantastic, would totally come again

I am so happy that you enjoyed your vacation! You're right that pictures can't capture views, but I'm doing my best. Thank you for staying here, and I hope you'll return!
The host and cabin were equally amazing. Daniel (host) was extremely quick to respond when we had question and was more than accommodating. The cabin was magnificent and well stocked with everyday needs. The views from the cabin were exceptional, and although we were able to utilize the fire pit outside (due to winter storm fern), we were able to utilize the abundance of firewood for the fireplace inside as well as the ahhhhmazimg hot tub. Can’t wait to go back to Gatlinburg and book this same cabin.

I'm happy that one of our local bears visited while you were there; it's always fun to see them. I am pleased that you enjoyed your visit. Thank you for staying here, and I hope you'll return.
Easy check in; cabin very private; loved the fire pit; beds were very comfortable; only complaint was that the hot tub had a smell; cabin had everything we needed - thanks for sharing

I wish you had let me know about the hot tub smell; it's likely that the bromine sanitizer was low, and I would have happily come out to check on that. Thankyou for staying here, and I hope you'll return.
Such a cute cabin! Perfect location for us. Beautiful view! Highly recommend! Thank you for sharing this wonderful place with us!!

I am so happy that you enjoyed your visit! I agree that this cabin is in a nice, quiet location, but it's so easy to get everywhere from here! Thank you for staying here, and I hope you'll return.
I wish you had told me about the musty odor when you were there. It had been vacant for a week before you arrived, so the climate control wasn't running as much as it would be when occupied. I am getting a dehumidifier installed in the crawl space to help with moisture control in the future.
Spent the trip hiking in the National Park with family. Great location away from the bustle of town.

Why they chose this property
It's beautiful and secluded, with great scenic vistas off the deck. and lots of peace and quiet and privacy. We are partway up the mountain, but it's an easy drive in and out. We're about 5 minutes from the Great Smoky Mountain National Park's Ramsay Trail Head, and about 10 minutes from one end of the Arts and Crafts Loop. Easy access to everywhere, but still out in the country, away from the hustle and bustle.
